Sean's place is very cute, cozy and everything is good enough. Also Sean is so nice and I got a very warm welcoming. She prepared everything also the chocolate and nuts. As I was leaving in the early morning. She prepared a piece of cake for me specially. I feel I was still living at home. Thank you so much. If I will come to Calgary next time i will choose Sean 's place again.

From the moment that we (myself and my two sons 10y & 9y) had walked through the door we were welcomed with open arms! They assured our timely arrival to the airport by being our wake-up call, AND it was an early departure! They made a homemade lemon cake treat for my boys breakfast with hot chocolate...every boys breakfast wish! The accommodations were lovely and so comfy...off to dreamy land in mere minutes! Sean was quick to carry in our luggage and upon departing he carried them out again. We had lovely conversations in between getting ready in the morning. Thank you for sharing your house with us! When we need a place to stay in Calgary it'll surely be at your house!! Thank you both! You are very lovely souls and so very thoughtful in all aspects of welcoming us in!

A great central location. The apartment has everything you need and the host was very responsive to any questions we had.
Danielle was a very accommodating and gracious host. The stylish apartment was clean and comfortable and featured modern amenities. With attention to detail, Danielle has clearly taken the time to make sure her rental is top notch. With a beautiful park and a full service YMCA only a couple of blocks away, I'm looking forward to the possibility of another stay at Danielle's awesome apartment.

The condo is in a good location. View from suite is nice. Description on the airbnb site is accurate. Condo was well layout and clean. Danielle was prompt with all replies and requests. I would recommend the condo and would not mind staying there again.

Everything about my stay was perfect. The hosts were welcoming, the apartment was well appointed and spotless, with a view of the river, ideally located downtown and close to LRT.
My stay was great. The property was exactly as listed, and in some ways better. The condo was super clean and had everything I needed - better accommodated than most hotels. The location was within a few blocks of the LRT and I was able to walk to most everywhere I needed to go. The check-in process was well documented and easy to follow. The hosts were available by message as needed. I would recommend this property to anyone and plan to stay again.
Did not meet them face to face but it was very easy to get in the the well written set of directions. Place was exceptionally clean and had just about everything except a microwave (but oven and toaster so no problem). Danielle and Ben checked with us periodically to make sure all was well so very easy to contact. Parking spot is very much appreciated in downtown Calgary. This may be our Calgary place to stay now.

Donna was a great host. She was quite responsive to questions beforehand and was very welcoming. The home is in a great location, within walking distance of the Alberta Children's Hospital. The bed was very comfortable and the coffee was great. I would highly recommend this place.
My experience at Donna's was great. The location and price were exceptional. The room was quite nice and had everything I needed. And of course if you love animals, her 2 dogs and 2 cats are super friendly and adorable.

We had an amazing stay at Hugh's. Him and his wife were very accommodating and friendly. They made us feel very welcomed and at home. They offered us various places to visit in Banff. Their home was beautiful, modern and clean. We would definitely come again the next time we visit Calgary and highly recommend for others to come here and stay. They've gone above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

I had a good time in Hugh's Home, also when I only met his wife Sue. Most of the time I was out and about and Sue gave me useful sugesstions what I could do. The room was beautiful and everything was as described. The house has a british, elegant and colourful style which I really liked.

Great place to stay with three, even with four people! The family is nice and friendly. The room was really clean and had everything we needed and which was useful such as a fridge and pillows. We arrived a little bit later but the family fully understand that. Even if we had to travel on early in the morning it was a brilliant choice to stay in Calgary!
Ellie was a great host. She greeted us when we arrived and told us where to find a grocery store. The suite was spotless, it is well equipped (PS. No TV or radio for those who cannot live without them) and Ellie had coffee, and spices and other stuff available to make our lives easier for breakfast and cooking. The suite is located in a very quite neighborhood with a fantastic view of downtown Calgary from the hill next to the house, close to grocery stores and major highways. We do not hesitate to recommend this suite to anyone visiting Calgary and/or the Banff area

Ellie was wonderful in replying very quickly to a last minute request and sharing her basement suite on such short notice. The unit was great overall, and had everything I could need. It also came stocked with small perks such as coffee and tea.

Torie's place was beautiful! It was clean, in a great location and had everything we needed. Torie was able to meet with us and let us know everything we needed to know and even gave some tips about local restaurants. Overall a fabulous experience and would love to stay there again!

Torie made our stay very comfortable! Her apartment is very cozy and warm with cute decorations and a fabulous balcony. Great location - close to Stampede for us to walk. After backpacking in Banff/Jasper for a week we expressed the need to do laundry and Torie sweetly ran out to get more laundry detergent. We would highly recommend staying here!
Torie was the perfect host! She met us at the agreed time and explained everything we needed to know for an enjoyable stay! Her condo is exactly as described. It's very comfortable and in a quiet part of probably the best neighborhood in Calgary just of 17th SW. She was also able to accommodate a late checkout which was very convenient for us. WiFi was very good and the underground parking was very convenient.

This is a great apartment, just minutes walk from 17th Avenue. The location is perfect for exploring the city and making the most of the local shops, restaurants and nightlife. The apartment is well designed, and furnished with with many homely touches and had everything we could have needed. Everything was very clean and as described in the advert. Torie was very helpful, and although she couldn't meet us herself, arranged for a friend to meet us despite our late check in past 11pm on a Saturday night which was much appreciated!

We had a very lovely stay at this home. It was a last-minute reservation that was well accommodated. We stayed in guest room number one which had its own private ensuite The bed was very comfortable, everything was clean. Modern and stylish decor. Had to eat in the kitchen area. Would stay here again no problem
My hubby and I appreciated the great communication via email and tourist information provided during our stay. The home was beautiful, inviting and charmingly decorated throughout. Maria's manager provided helpful tips about the area. It was a pleasure to become acquainted to others also staying at Maria's and learning about different cultures and languages. Maria's home had a friendly hostel feel with hotel quality and detail. If the drive away from the city is not an issue, Maria's place is highly recommended!
Maria's place is conveniently located close to the airport. Although we did not meet Maria, the property manager was always there to assist and was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We also had a great breakfast in the morning. Maria's place is definitely a great value for money stay.

Overall, we were very pleased in our stay at Maria's place. Though the address was not yet on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps at it was located in a new street, Maria provided us detailed directions to the place via email prior to our arrival. The home was exactly the same as in the pictures. It was located in a quiet neighborhood & was in close proximity to the Cross Ironmills outlet mall. The house was brand new with modern furnishing and was exceptionally clean & very comfortable. We also liked having security lock codes in each room. They even have washer & dryer available for guests to use. Highly recommended!

Welcome to Inglewood - voted Canada's #1 neighbourhood in 2014. Situated across from the Bow river and right along Calgary's bike path, our renovated home is a block from trendy 9th Avenue, a quick walk to the Zoo, Stampede, Downtown or even the Science Centre. This brand new space has the short and long term traveller in mind. Great for a professional, a family or some friends travelling together. We offer two well-appointed bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other a double. Each bedroom has a wardrobe and all the necessary linens, including comfy duvets and awesome pillows! The space would suit a couple or small family for a longer stay (week +), but groups of 5 or 6 would likely only be suited for 1-7 days. The large bathroom has a custom tiled, glass shower with a rain shower head. The vanity has tons of storage and topped with a stunning marble counter. And the heated towel rack brings an extra touch of comfort to the space! In the living area you will find a double sleeper-sofa and chair. We have recently added a double memory foam mattress that will replace the sleeper sofa to add to the comfort level for our guests (everyone knows that pull out sofabeds are not comfy so we are going the route of a double mattress instead). A 55" flat panel TV and PS3 are available for the nights you "just wantta stay in". We offer Telus TV and high speed wireless internet. The kitchenette offers a full sized fridge, bar seating for four and a microwave/toaster oven. There is no oven in this kitchenette. The kitchenette is stocked with all the necessary fixtures for this type of kitchen including basic spices and staples of the kitchen (toaster, kettle, blender, etc.) The lower level is self-contained (albeit no stove). You will have access via a private side entrance. For longer term stays, you may have access to our upstairs stove if needed. Laundry is shared, but we endeavour to respect you privacy. For longer term stays (week+) our laundry days will be Wednesdays. Most stays we will be here to meet, greet and interact with our guests as much (or as little) as you would like. We are a young family with two kiddos (we do our best to maintain their noise levels and respect our guests, but we do want our guests to be aware of their presence before you book). That said, we are out and about most of the time enjoying Inglewood. We do share laundry downstairs. We will not go down unless the stay is "long term" at which point our laundry day will be Wednesdays. The odd time we may be out travelling ourselves, in which case we will have a trusted neighborhood friend watch over the place and give you the in's and outs of the space and the 'hood. We love our hood. Inglewood truly is the best neighbourhood in Canada. Our home is located along the Bow River and Calgary's bike path. We are half a block to a great dog park and a quick walk to Harvie Passage kayak park. Located only block to trendy 9th Avenue you will be able to find great restaurants, coffee shops and great shopping. If you walk a little further down 9th Ave you will quickly be at Fort Calgary and East Village. Hop the bridge over the Bow and you will be at the Zoo. The location simply does not get better than this. Inglewood! You are a 20 minute walk to downtown or Stampede. Our house is located two blocks to a major bus stop (#1, 302, 75, etc.). We are located in the centre of Calgary's Car2Go zone. If we are around, you are welcome to utilize our bikes as well. Please feel free to enjoy the 6 burner natural gas BBQ located by your entrance, the back yard and even the fire pit. Your place will be outfitted with the required BBQ accessories. Great place to stay. We had the opportunity to stay for one week. The space was very comfortable and clean. We felt safe in the neighborhood. Very good location, near the bow river where we took lovely walks. Classy shops nearby and we took advantage of the vicinity of downtown and walked there. The hosts were caring and very easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this space.
Great place and great hosts! We were only there for a night but everything as as expected and the hosts really cared about our visit. They have upgraded their basement and it has a lot of nice luxuries. The hosts are great resources for your stay and clearly will do anything to accommodate you.

Michelle and James were brilliant hosts, really lovely people. There was wine and fresh ground coffee on arrival and we were also able to borrow bikes to explore. The apartment was great, comfy beds and a better shower than we have at home. We enjoyed petting Hunter too. The area is a great mix of countryside to explore and lovely neighbourhood coffee, shops and restaurants but close enough to be walkable to downtown too.
It was our first experience using air bnb. I am glad that we did. Michelle and James were better than the best hosts we imagined. They were just perfect. Willing to engage us in all Inglewood has to offer and leaving us to our devices when desired. Their 2 kids Cash and Scout were awsome. They were informative about the activities and attractions to see around the neighbourhood and James even set us up with bikes and helmets to explore a close by beautiful Island. The name of the island escapes me now (Sorry James). We attended the Sun festival, had bike rides to explore islands, had a fire pit at night. We were not planning to do ANY of these. So thanks Michelle and James for turning Calgary the start of our vacation into BC rather than just a pass through affair. The basement is done in good taste. Sleek and modern with good amount of sunlight. Nice and cool to sleep and the beds were awsome. My wife forgot a ring in the bathroom and Michelle contacted us within the hour. Great family, great place, great neighborhood, you should stay here.
Michelle and James were great hosts. They were there to welcome my friends and I to the home and were very warm and friendly. Michelle took the time to show us the space and even had some little treats for us. The space was well furnished and almost seemed like it was newly renovated. Lots of space was available (I had 5 people total in my party) and the beds were comfortable (I'm used to a slightly firmer bed). Everything that we needed was available to us and was clean.
We stayed in the appartment for two nights prior to setting off on our travels theough the Rockies. Michelle James and family were all very welcoming and friendly. They even offered for us to join them with some activities, but unfortunaltly our stay was too short. I would recomend this BnB for everyone looking to stay in Calgary. Michelle and James were awesome hosts. They were very friendly and accommodating. The location was close to downtown so I was able to walk to my conference while the rest of the family enjoyed the parks, zoo and other amenities nearby. The third bed is a pull out couch with a mattress so it is as comfortable as the others. There is an excellent book with all the information you need, solid wifi and full cable package. There is a BBQ right outside and a electric fry pan but no stove so plan your food accordingly. Definitely a good place to stay and we would book it again next time we are in Calgary!

Mark and Ivy's flat is located in the heart of Calgary, a couple blocks from the Calgary Tower. The check-in/checkout process was very smooth, and they were extremely responsive to any questions or concerns I had. The apartment is clean and well-maintained, and has pretty reliable wifi and an in-unit washer and dryer. There are two bedrooms: a smaller one with a full-size bed, and a master bedroom with a queen bed (I think). The third bed is a pull-out couch situated in the living room, which has probably contains the most attractive asset of this apartment: a gorgeous view of the city. In addition, there is a patio with a table and a couple of chairs, which we only used a couple of times, since I went in the winter. If you want a parking spot, it will cost you a bit extra, but I really recommend it, especially if you go during snow season. For anyone looking to visit Calgary, regardless of the season, I'd highly recommend this listing.

Our chic downtown condo is only 2 blocks from Stampede, BMO Center & Saddledome and close to the C-Train, fantastic local bars & trendy restaurants! We've freshly furnished and professionally clean our condo with tourists and business travelers in mind! Come enjoy our spacious, downtown 2 bedroom condo that sleeps 6 guests. There's assigned, secure underground parking, as well as free WiFi. A few hundred meters away from Stampede grounds! Victoria Park is a trendy, urban neighbourhood known for its innovative bars, local restaurants and proximity to the Stampede grounds. It has an old building charm, mixed with a hipster modern edge. Its a great neighborhood for the young professional or traveler alike. There are many forms of public transit literally minutes from the condo. The C-Train is 3 blocks away and grants access to core areas of the city from the downtown core to the suburbs. This is great place to stay for anyone wanting a downtown Calgary experience. Our family group consisted of a four year old child, two parents and two grandparents. We were very comfortable in this apartment. The two full bathrooms are an asset. The large outdoor patio afforded great views of the downtown and Bow river park. We used the fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. An excellent property in an outstanding location. Our host was very helpful, guiding us through the entire experience.

I had a great experience staying at Nour's listing. She was super helpful before before and during the trip with directions and suggestions regarding airport transportation and places to visit while in town. The location was great for what I needed and easily accessible to downtown and neat neighbourhoods around.

My host Nour was AWESOME! My flight was seriously delayed and she waited up for me (even offered to come get me if i missed the car rental office open hours). (she even helped with a call to United re my bag when it was lost) She gave perfect directions to get to the apartment. Apartment exactly as advertised (except no A/C), comfortable, spotless, great location. Nour generously offered to move her car for friday/saturday so I could leave mine in her slot. (daytime onstreet parking is 2 hour limit) A lovely easy walk to multiple good restaurants, shops, etc. I would highly recommend staying with Nour!

Fantastic place to stay in the heart of Calgary. The condo is clean, well-appointed, provides fantastic views, has cable and the wifi works great even with two people pounding away.
We got no problem to get in and the check in and house instructions are all very clear and easy to follow. Mason had put in so many considerations for the stay including food, drinks, bed dings and towels, etc. The location is pretty convenient for every where you travel. We enjoy the stay very much!
Mason was great! His location was unbelievable, the building was quiet and everything worked out perfectly for us. Even though we checked in later than the original check in time, he was still available, and we were promptly set up and ready to go. Would highly recommend Mason to anyone else, and would definitely stay with him again when we are up for our next trip!

The place has a direct view of the stampede grounds and shows exactly how it does in the pictures. It is very central with most everything only a 15 minute walk away. There is a drop in center not too far away but it is also right by the river so just a great location.

Mason's modern, 2-bedroom 2-bath apartment is really solid value for anyone wishing to be within a five or ten minute walk to downtown Calgary. It's rally nicely designed, in a brand new building, and on a high floor for beautiful vistas. It's every bit as nice as a downtown executive hotel, but it definitely beats hotel-living. And Mason was very clear on communication and making sure the four of us were comfortable. I'd put this place at the top of my Calgary list!

The local mall is 10 mins walk and includes Walmart / Safeway / Starbucks. 17 AVE is one of the best streets for a wide selection of bars and restaurants (10 min bus ride - see map). Arriving at Sue and Hugh's place after a long journey was exactly what we are looking for. A beautiful house in a very nice residential area , only 5 minutes to ctrain and just 3 station to downtown of Calgary, with a tidy and spotless room and a big comfortable bed. Sue and Hugh are great hosts and awesome people , at the welcoming we knew immediately that's the place you should stay in Calgary. You can always ask them for recommendations and help , have some chats and offering a cup of tea. At our day of departure it was raining in lines and they offered us to give us a lift to the airport... Just bloody awesome. I was on a business trip in Calgary for 5 days. The location of this house allowed me to walk downtown or take the C-Train, which is close by. Staying here was just like being at home. The house has enough space and amenities for a comfortable stay. Marie was prompt in her correspondence and made accessing the house a simple as possible.

A lovely little place! We really loved it. It is immaculately clean and the kitchen was very well equipt with everything you may need for a short stay. Bed was ultra comfy and the whole space was welcoming, cosy and comfortable. Although we didnt meet Andy he was always available via text and check in and out went very smoothly. 2 night stay in October 2015. Gorgeous, modern, little apartment. Very comfortable for the two of us. Loved the location; so close to Memorial Drive, Downtown Core, Safeway, C-train, shopping in Kensington. Great walking trails along the river and several coffee shops and restaurants in area. Didn't use our vehicle at all. Apartment had all the amenities but could have used a couple extra blankets. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants the best location ever at a really affordable price. So much better than a hotel. Thank you Kesh & Lyss for the accommodation and the incredibly comfortable bed. We will definately stay here again.

This apartment was great. It's in an amazing location just a one minute walk from the C-Train, has a nice little balcony, an awesome brunch place just next door and even a reserved parking spot. We loved staying at this apartment. We didn't spend a lot of time there but it was super comfortable, clean and superbly decorated and well stocked . It was super hot in Calgary and they had great , quality fans that helped cool down the temperatures. I appreciated the nice shampoo and conditioner and the nice white towels and comfy bed with linens made it really feel like a 5 star hotel . It was great to use the washer/dryer also. The location was perfect and grocery store minutes walk. The beautiful city park was about a 10 minute walk and then you're in the centre core area of downtown. Loved that they had some Tim Hortons coffee available as I had ran out. No worries though as there are cafes and bakeries etc everywhere. It was perfect all around.

There is a shelf in the fridge for any food you want to keep cold. The main entrance is keyless. Free permitted street parking, with a $50.00 deposit which is returned when the pass is returned. Beautiful city view from the front porch. Green space across the street. A cat lives in the house, but not in this room. This affectionate cat is only two, he is playful and friendly. 3 minute walk to C-train and trendy Kensington shops and dining. Walk to downtown in 10 - 15 minutes. See my guidebook for what's handy. Brochures, maps and tourist information is available. I vacuum and dust the whole house weekly, clean the floors every 2nd day, never leave dirty dishes, wash the bathrooms daily and provide fresh laundered sheets and towels for every guest. You'll have access to the common living space which includes the kitchen, dining room, living room, as well as the front porch and laundry machines. You will also have access to the main floor bathroom. I respect your desire for peace and quiet and am also available to chat and provide directions and information. Vendome Cafe is lovely and only one block away. Walk 2 blocks to the Kensington shopping area for great restaurants and stores. 400 meters to c-train and transit and Safeway Supermarket. Easy access to get around by walking, biking, bus, train, car, Car to Go or cab. Close to #1 Highway and Memorial Drive. Sunnyside C-train station is 400 meters away. The airport is 20 minutes drive away. Ask about my airport pick up/drop off. The tap water from all the faucets in the house are safe to drink from. Close to SAIT, ACAD, the Jubilee Auditorium are 1 train stop away, North Hill is 2 and the University is 3. Lots of walking and bike paths along the river close by, as well as Eau Claire shopping market and the Plaza Theatre. Handy to the Calgary Zoo and 20 minutes drive to Calgary International Airport. Barb was a great host! She made sure I had all the information I needed upon arrival (which was good because I was stressed from travelling.) I enjoyed chatting with Barb and she was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. There was ample parking space and it was a nice quiet neighbourhood in the perfect location. Not far from downtown, and right in Kensington which is full of little cafes, shops, and yoga studios! The parking pass and key system for the house made everything accessible and easy. My room had a great tv, and a lovely bed. Very nice linens. The house is lovely and has amazing light. The area is quiet and my sleep was restful. I felt very comfortable in Barb's home and hope to come back!

My husband and I just returned from a two week vacation in the Rockies and we started our trip off with a stay at the Sunnyside Heritage home. This was our first Airbnb experience and we were not disappointed. Barb is a wonderful host, she has a very cozy room ready for you, and the porch in the morning with coffee was exactly as described in the previous reviews. We found Barb's place to be an excellent location for discovering Calgary by foot. We would recomend Barb's home to friends and family. Nice to meet you Barb :)
A marvelous home and host! Barb was a brilliant communicator and the most welcoming host - there's definitely a reason why she's a "super-host". The bed and room were incredibly comfortable, we got to help ourselves to a lovely breakfast (and coffee!), and the 150 year old home has so much character. Sam, the cat, is equally as friendly and welcoming! The house is perfectly located, in a sweet little neighbourhood, with shops, restaurants, transport and downtown all an easy walking distance away. The perfect stop in Calgary!

Great downtown location with lots of space. The inner city townhome offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms over three levels. Secure garage parking for one vehilce is also available. All conveniently located between trendy 17th Ave and the core. This townhome is in the heart of Calgary's Beltline. Just 5 blocks north of 17th Ave, 4 blocks from downtown and within steps of the 12,11 & 10th ave shopping and restaurants. The two bedroom, two bathroom home offers spacious, secure and convenient accomodation. Rooms offer queen beds and the entire space offers all of the comforts of home in a very clean and modern space. The Beltline hosts some of Calgary's most unique neighbourhoods. From the shops and restraunts on 1st Street SW, to the 17th Avenue Dining and Entertainment District, this home is in the heart of it all. The suite has over-height ceilings, good natural light and is set up to work for both a quick visit or a longer stay. As for public transport, the suite is 6 blocks from the 7th avenue C-Train corridor, where all four lines intersect and take you to all quadrants of the city. Once inside the exterior door, there are two interiors doors. The Inner City Townhome is the door on the left. All the comforts of home. The basement is suited off separately, please be mindful of other guests. I do my best to respond a quickly as possible, but I do work during the day. Greg had the house perfect for us and everything went according to plan. His instructions were very straightforward and the directions to his house were again perfect. The location is ideal, only 3 blocks from the city centre which meant that we were able to walk around town rather than taking the car out each time. We are very grateful for the presentation of the house from the bedrooms to the kitchen etc. Loads of clean white towels were laid on. It almost felt like a hotel. Final word is that we would definitely recommend Greg and his beautiful house if you are planning a trip to Calgary.
Excellent location, great accommodation
I stayed at Greg's place with a few girlfriends when we were in town for a wedding. It was perfect! We felt like roommates again. It was great to be so close to the grocery store and to have a full kitchen so we could make our own meals. Greg is a very responsive host so any questions I had leading up to or during the stay were answered promptly. He even let me know when the place was ready via text message! The place is clean, the wi-fi connection is strong, the beds are comfy, and the kitchens and bathrooms are fully stocked with things like towels, soap, dishes, etc

This is a great place to stay! It is located a couple of blocks from shops and an interesting range of restaurants --- cute coffee places and bakeries, to diners and higher-end places. It is also close to the Elbow River, and pleasant walks along its banks. The apartment is quiet, spotlessly clean, and well furnished. The hosts are welcoming and accommodating. We would recommend it to anyone.
This was a very nice, modern, and incredibly clean private 1-bd condo with full kitchen. It was just as pictured, and I was happy I chose the property for my stay. The 4th street strip for food and shopping is just 3 blocks away, and I was able to walk downtown for my business meetings within a half hour. Park and waterways nearby, and interesting area of town to explore. Highly recommend.

You also can find, restaurants, convenience store, Eau Clair Market, coffee shops, everything on walking distant. If you are coming to celebrate the Stampede, you can go easily and fast to the parade, the Saddledome, and all the party places. If you walk 4 blocks, you will find the c-train station, in the portion that is known as the free fare zone, so you can travel for free inside downtown. Quite spontaneously my wife and I decided to go to Calgary for the weekend and we saw Dained&Guillermo's listing. A quick inquiry regarding parking and an immediate answer prompted us to book right away. When we arrived there we were happy to find arriving as described, a super comfy room and a clean apartment. Downtown with its bars and restaurants is walking distance, so is Kensington on the other side of the River. If you have questions what to do, the hosts are more than happy to help you find an activity. The most incredible part was the breakfast, you essentially don't have to buy anything, everything was there and we had a great start to our days in Calgary. We highly recommend staying here! My boyfriend and I stayed at Christoph’s apartment for a week during his visit from Germany. The apartment was perfect- clean, cozy and centrally located as it says in the posting. We arrived at the apartment to find nice a note from Christoph with all the details of the apartment and a bottle of wine. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos, and in a great location. I’m from Calgary, and this is definitely in the top end of the spectrum as far as downtown accommodation goes. As our first AirBnB experience, this one was absolutely on the mark. We were met by Christoph's mom-in-law, got the detailed info on the apartment, and then enjoyed a great 7 nights in the Mount Royal area of Calgary. The apartment itself was spotless; the very firm hotel-quality queen bed in the bedroom provided us with the best possible rest, and the shower water pressure provided a refreshing awakening in the mornings with its firehose-like pressure. The apartment was conveniently outfitted with all the necessary amenities, though it was good I brought my own laptop so I could use the WiFi in order to watch the news - the apartment does not have a television. While in Calgary, we delighted in using the economical Car2Go (even took it from the airport to the apartment), and the 17th Avenue retail/restaurant zone within a 5 minute walk of the apartment was a delight to visit during our stay/. I would certainly recommend this apartment as the ideal combination of comfort, near proximity to Calgary downtown, and local neighborhood ambiance; Christoph's complete communications prior to arrival provide the guest with a high degree of confidence in the overall quality of the stay.

I have been staying at Llona's for a few visits now. It is always delightful and wonderful. She is very accommodating and quick to respond to requests or concerns. Located in the beautiful Sunnyside area, our small and cozy place offers walking access to downtown, pathways, parks, coffee shops, restaurants and public transit (C-train) Our small and cozy house in Sunnyside has a large and comfortable spare room in the basement. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed, but is big enough to comfortably fit an extra full size mattress (so that it fits up to 4). Your bedroom in the basement does not get much daylight, but still has an exterior window, and offers total privacy and comfort. You will have full access to all the common spaces in the house, including the kitchen, bathroom, living room and front yard (with a big picnic table). You will also have access to appliances, including the fridge, stove, Nespresso coffee machine (with complimentary coffee!), washing machine, dryer and the living room Hi-Fi and TV. We will likely be present in the house during your stay. We will interact with you as much as you want to (i.e., we enjoy conversations, but respect privacy as a priority). Kids are welcome (and those under 10 stay free). We have a 2 year daughter who loves making new friends and does not mind sharing her toys. We have lots of guidebooks, maps and information about the Rocky Mountains, and can certainly offer travel advise. Sunnyside is arguably the best neighborhood in Calgary. It is very close to downtown (city's business center) but also recreation areas such as the Bow River pathways or Prince's Island park. Sunnyside is a quiet place, yet only 4 blocks (5 minutes walking) from one of the most lively areas in town (Kensington), with lots of restaurants, pubs, and all purpose stores. One of the best places for coffee in Calgary (the Vendome cafe) is only 2 blocks from our place. One block further there is a grocery store, a bakery and organic market and a C-train station. Gemma and Eduard were great hosts! This was my first AirBnb experience and it was fabulous. The room is a great size and the bed is extremely comfortable. Wifi works brilliantly. The house is in a great location. You can walk to downtown within 15 minutes and the surrounding area also has a great pathway system which allows for nice walks or bike rides. The house is also a 5minute walk to a great little cafe, which do the most amazing hot chocolates and breakfasts!! Would definitely recommend staying here!
Gemma & Eduard's home was perfect for our vacation. It was walking distance to downtown and public transportation. It was also located perfect for a day trip to the mountains and lakes. They were amazing and helped with places to visit with our little one. We would definitely stay again if we return to Calgary.
This was our first time using Airbnb we and loved it. Eduard and Gemma have a lovely home in the perfect setting to visit Calgary and the Stampede. We had a wonderful stay at this place. Gemma and Eduard and their gorgeous daughter were very nice and we enjoyed having conversations with them. We had access to whatever we needed in the house. They responded quickly to our request on Airbnb and we moved in only in an hour after our request, which was really helpful. Also with the flexible check out schedule we experienced a very pleasant stay there.

Gemma and Eduard - and their young daughter - were excellent hosts. We had a lovely stay sharing their home. They were really helpful with suggestions of things to do in Calgary - and seemed to know loads about outdoor walks, viewpoints and things to do in the Rockies nearby. The room in their basement was ideal - spacious, comfortable, and with privacy from the rest of the house. The house was clean and tidy, and the shared bathroom didn't cause any issues. They had lots of communal areas to use upstairs - to share with the hosts - without feeling like you were imposing - and a well stocked kitchen and cupboard space for our stuff. It was really easy to find - and convenient for public transport - and just a short walk to local bars, cafes, restaurants in Sunnyside/Kensington road - and just over the river from Downtown. They were really welcoming and helpful on our arrival. We had our own keys - and could come and go as we liked - which was handy. All in all we had a great stay with these guys and would recommend them as hosts.

This property backs onto the river. Great access to pathway system, transit and amenities within walking distance. Located on a quiet street in a mature neighborhood. On street parking available. Please park on the street in front of the bush (not in front of the neighbors house). Excellent access to city transit. Close to pathway system. We are a 7 minute drive from Edworthy park (which connects river pathways) and Canada Olympic Park. 15 minute drive to downtown. 2 minute walk to local coffee shop, pub and various restaurants. There is a large mall a 5 minute drive away with additional restaurants as well. The grocery store is a 20 min walk or 3 minute drive. Convenience store across the street. We have easy access to Trans Canada and are only a 45 minute drive to the mountains or 1.5 hours to beautiful Banff. A 2 hour drive takes you all the way to Lake Louise. Our cozy self-catering suite has one bedroom, one bathroom, with a separate living/kitchen area that has everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. Linens, shampoo, and towels are all here for you. We also have a large TV with Netflix and WiFi for your convenience. The bedroom has a queen bed. In the summer, you are welcome to use our BBQ, and enjoy our backyard with a wood burning outdoor fireplace with river views. Laundry can be arranged if you would like to use it. We are located on a quiet street in the neighbourhood of Bowness. We are a 35-minute drive from the airport, and on the west end of the city, allowing for easy and quick access to the mountains. We are a quiet family of 5 (and two part-time small and very friendly dogs) who looks forward to sharing our wonderful city with travelers from all over. Great place to stay. Wide space, washroom, couch, kitchen, and one bedroom. Wi-fi was great, too. It's bit far away from downtown, but there is the bus to go downtown in the front of the house. Enjoyed Stampede :) I strongly recommend!
Marie' place was a welcoming oasis just like the pictures are showing. The basement is really cozy and clean. It felt like a home away from home. The bed was comfortable so where the couches! Having coffee there was an added bonus! I really appreciated the sent free environment and the key arrangement.
This place was FANTASTIC! Was everything that we expected and more! Only wish we had had more time to just hang out and enjoy the outdoors and the Host. Marie was also FANTASTIC, making our first experience with an Air BnB such a positive one that we don't want to book a hotel room again. Thank you for everything Marie!
