Valerie was very accommodating and helpful. Went out of her way to care for her guest. Surrounded by beautiful bush.

I had a lovely time staying with Valerie and Jim, it was a nice setting out in the bush and the flat was very nicely decorated and had everything you could need. I was staying for work so didn't have time to explore the local area, but it sounds like it would be a great area to stay in if visiting Brisbane to see some interesting things and have some peace and quiet away from the city centre.

Having made a sudden trip to Brisbane for a family funeral the four of us were anxious to find affordable accommodation. The luck of the Irish was definitely with us and led us to Valerie and Jim's beautiful 2BDRM Self Contained Unit. The furnishings are beautiful and everywhere you look shows the hard work and expense they have gone to ensuring the place is inviting, comfortable and cosy. A beautiful array of breakfast foods was laid out for us including cereals, fresh fruit, breads, juice, tea and coffee. The house and gardens are lovely! You can take a stroll down to the creek via the chook pen and take a seat along the way with the fairies. The dog Buddy is as friendly as Jim and Val themselves. Their is a pool and spa for you to relax in and the media room is great! Jim and Val definitely live up to the old saying " warm Irish hospitality". They are on hand if you need them but also discreet enough to give you your space and privacy. Their home is in a great location being only 20 minutes to Brisbane city, 25minutes to the airport, under an hour to the Gold Coast and 15minutes to the ferry for Stradbroke Island. Also there is a beautiful winery less than 10 minutes away. Great hosts, great location, great stay. We will definitely be back! Cheers Julieanne Squire

Treetops is a fabulous place to stay. It is spacious, private, clean and very comfortable. We loved it as it was very central for visiting our family. Valerie and Jim are excellent hosts, available if needed but nor overwhelming. We will be visiting there again for sure!

Had a lovely short stay in Valerie and Jim's apartment. It is spacious and very comfortable for a short or long stay. We didn't get time to explore the property but it's a lovely quiet and peaceful spot.

A wonderful area to stay with plenty of nature and wildlife to sit back and enjoy. The apartment is quite cool considering the outside temperature, and there is plenty of room to move. We enjoyed our stay and wish we'd stayed longer. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Ina was the perfect host, we were made very welcome. The apartment was very private beautifully situated facing onto a bushland reserve. Located not far from Brisbane it was very convenient for the weekend wedding we attended in South Brisbane. We found fresh bread outside our door when we woke up and all kitchen needs and small essentials were catered for. A home away from home. Thank you Ina, hope to see you again next time in Brisbane.

We enjoyed a quiet and peaceful few days stay. We appreciated the thoughtful gestures Ina put in with some food items and amenities. We loved the home cooked Moroccan meal, with some wallabies sitting nearby. Only drawback is that Internet is not so reliable (no wifi, phone reception only 1 bar with some drop-outs).

Ina went out of her way to accommodate my needs at the last minute. The studio is secure, comfortable and just perfect for a home away from home. I even got to meet the kangaroos and wallabies. Thanks Ina :)

Ina's place was wonderful as usual. We were provided with some lovely food choices for breakfasts and snacks for after dinner. We were visiting family so we weren't there during the day but there were some things in the pantry that could have fed us for lunch. The bed is very comfortable and I settle quick to a great nights sleep. The living area is big enough for my husband to do some work on the kitchen table and for me to read or watch TV without disturbing him too much. Thank you Ina very much for a wonderful and restful stay again. I will be booking again. Sorry I missed the review period for my last stay I am having problems with my Airbnb app. It was another wonderful stay.

I absolutely loved the apartment. I slept like a log. Privacy was respected. It was more comfortable then a hotel. I would definitely stay again. It had everything i needed. The personal touches were appreciated. Love love love

This is our third time staying at Ina's. We can be assured of a fresh bread and snacks welcome always! This lovely couple have begun to enrich our stays in Brisbane! We came and went as we wished and there is no noise from above the self contained area, even though it is under their house. With microwave and a full gas stove, we are able to really relax and make our own meals after busy driving and visiting friends and family. We love catching up with Ina and Mike and feel really honoured to have shared their part of the world which is so close to nature, yet so close to suburbia. Everything is really comfortable as well - from the dining area, the lounge to the bedroom. There are no disappointments at this airbnb!

Ina and her partner made us both very welcome. The flat was spacious, private and very comfortable. We appreciated the effort Ina made to leave some pantry supplies for our arrival and also appreciated the full kitchen facilities so that we could cook our meals.The location and gardens were lovely and furniture was provided to sit outside and relax. This was our first Air BNB experience and we will definitely stay with Ina next time we are in Capalaba.

I had a few days work close by and there is very little commercial accommodation in the surrounding area. Usually I work and stay in the CBD but I hate driving in city traffic so was delighted to find this gem only 10 minutes from where I needed to go. Bart was there to welcome me on arrival and show me the granny flat. The bush setting is delightful and I had a lovely morning walk around the edge of the adjacent reservoir (which I had all to myself except for the wildlife - amazing considering it's in the middle of a city of 2 million people). It is a very beautiful setting and very quiet - the only city noise was the airliners flying overhead otherwise it was serene. The granny flat is very large and was very clean. It had all you need for a short stay and I slept like a log both nights. Work commitments meant I left early and was back late so I only had a couple of short conversations with Bart, Tineke and their children but they were all very warm and welcoming. There was a wallaby in the yard when I arrived and the ducks and chooks were amusing to watch. There are plenty of shops about five or so minutes away but you will need a car. It is not close to public transport. I would not hesitate to stay here again and I highly recommend this place especially if you are looking to relax.

I loved the bush setting, the birds, Tineke's animals and her environmental awareness. I could compost my food scraps and feed the rest to the chickens.. Loved it. Tineke was a kind and thoughtful host. Ready to help but unobtrusive. Perfect.

I completely enjoyed the entire experience staying at Tineke's unit. It is private and very peaceful in amongst the trees. The unit was fresh and clean and comfortable. I'd love to stay again in the future. I enjoyed taking photos of nature there.

This place is in a lovely setting. We saw plenty of wildlife. The photos don't do it justice (esp the bathroom which is small but nice and clean and perfectly adequate for 2)

Superb accommodation. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Very spacious and comfortable, and also in a very quiet location and yet close to amenities like shops and restaurants. We were attending the swimming championships at Chandler and it was only a 7minute drive.

Place was lovely, clean and quiet. Hosts were easy to communicate with and readily available. Check in was smooth and would stay again.

Great unit in a quiet location. Very handy to the Sleeman Sports Complex, the city's not too far away and there's easy access to the motorways. Great communication from the hosts which made things very easy. Thanks for the stay, look forward to staying again.

Very nice and comfortable to stay in

Ryan on Newbury is the most beautiful and private unit. It is up there with 5 star hotels. 2 bedrooms with everything you need to stay in luxurious comfort. Close to everything, yet in the middle of a beautiful suburb so you can relax away from the rush. It only took us 15 mins to get to Ikea, equally to the Southbank. John and Natalie went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. I recommend their unit to everyone as it is just stunning!

We loved John and Natalie's place. They have created such a beautiful homely space with so many extra trimmings. Loved the lounge and kitchen space and the coffee machine!! So many extras the place was so well equipped!

The only thing we would have changed is if we had stayed longer. Thank you so much.

We stayed there for over a week and Camilla made us feel home for the whole time. The place was very clean, equipped with everything we needed. Everything you need for a very comfortable stay in outer eastern Brisbane! Loved the birds chirping, the gorgeous treed setting, access to Cleveland and Wellington Point. Judy was helpful but gave us privacy, the perfect balance. Would highly recommend and will stay again!

This lovely private suite is exactly as advertised! Located in a quiet suburb of Brisbane, but easy access to the CBD (10 min walk to a direct bus). We had everything we needed and more - kitchenette, laundry, cable TV, wifi, and access to the beautiful backyard. Lots of opportunity to see local wildlife with flying foxes, koalas, and wallabies in walking distance at nearby parks. On top of all this, Jackie & Phil were very friendly hosts, and made us feel welcome, even including us in their family Christmas supper. Definitely recommend.

Amazing find on airbnb. Despite being a bit far from Brisbane city centre, there's a bus station just 10 minutes away from the house and it takes roughly 25 minutes of bus ride to the city. The house came with the kitchen too, and the nearest supermarkets/restaurants are a 10 minute walk away. Very clean and spacious too!

This was my first Airbnb experience and Jackie made it easy and fun. The host was friendly, the house was clean and comfortable. I was impressed that she had a welcome package filled with tips on how to best enjoy our stay and information about the local area. Plus board games! Plus a Wii console! Everything we needed was there. If I ever need a place around that area, Jackie will be my first port of call.

Jean-Marc and his partner made us feel really welcomed. They are highly approachable but also leave you to enjoy privacy and quiet. We didn't see them at all except when we checked in and out. The room was tidy, the wifi worked well. Everything is basic but it's clean and excellent for the price. The location is brilliant too. I recommend staying here for sure.

Donna and John were absolutely amazing. They were so welcoming and as this was my first Air BNB experience i did not know what to expect. This was a truely positive expirience the accomodation was superb. Immaculetly clean and tidy as was the pool and surrounding gardens. The fridge and cupboards were fully stocked which i certainly did not expect. The location was easy to find. I will be spending more time with them next holidays if they will have me. The Tadpole's retreat is an absolute gem ! Our host was the warmest, welcoming person in every way. Donna went over and above in making sure we were comfortable and settled in nicely - nothing was too much trouble for her. Extra homemade goodies left for us were a treat , totally unexpected but very much appreciated !!. Our studio apartment certainly matched its description to a tee. Very clean, comfortable and location perfect . Feel like you're in the country with the city close by if you want it. Communications with Donna ( prior to and in booking process) were great - timely responses and again, Donna very helpful . Would love to stay here again .

John and his Wife were amazing Hosts. They both introduced themselves on arrival and John showed me around the lovely unit which was most accommodating for my partner, my niece and I. The unit was very clean with all new beds, clean provided linen, blankets and towels. John was always on call or contactable by message if we required anything and he responds very promptly. We were in the middle of relocating and we required a temporary place to stay for a month. So Thank you both for having us stay in your lovely home. I would definitely recommend your place to others, as I would stay again if I ever needed an airbnb in future.

Your great communication made pre organisation easy, particularly with helping set up extra bedding for the tag along player that we ended up bringing along.
