  • For the second time i review this listing: Helen and Bernard listen to suggestion as they changed and added according to my previous private notes which is really thoughtful. There place became a must in NSW as it is truly spectacular in every way. Thank you

    Ali2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures in the profile were amazing, But they still don't do the place justice. Everything was way more impressive in person. Worth every penny, will be looking to return later in the year.

    Ash2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had a wonderful time at Helen’s property despite the rain and fog. We had to spend most our the time indoors, but thankfully the weather cleared up the following morning and we had such a great time by the pool... and Helen graciously obliged to a late check out so that we could enjoy her place a bit longer! The view is spectacular. Thank you Helen for your hospitality.

Tori was super helpful and accomodating

  • Amazing weekend!

    Jaimi2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here. Our writer's group of six saw kangaroos, echidna a wombat and some big fish! The beds were great, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the coffee machine (And beans!) were wonderful. Be warned, the bedrooms can get very warm if you light the fire downstairs. We brought sparky the wonder dog and she loved it, too.

    Kristin2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Property is as described - great space for large groups with many options for shared and private spaces. Loved the fresh herb garden, outdoor pizza oven and marshmallows by the fireplace.

Ooaree Farm Cabin is on a beautiful 140 acre farm in Rose Valley. Best suited to couples. The main bed is a king size mattress on a mezzanine level with steep stairs. The sofa turns into a queen size bed. The toilet is a modern composting toilet which does not smell if used correctly. 10 min to beaches, Gerringong and Kiama. It is a working farm and cows may be on the driveway and around the cabin. The drive way is 800 m and unsealed.
The cabin is on a working cattle and horse farm, please keep gates closed. The cabin has a basic little kitchenette with two small bar fridges, one with a small freezer compartment, a microwave and two hotplates. There is a bbq outside. It is best for simple meals, not a big cook up. The bathroom has a composting toilet. It normally does not smell but you need to follow the rules of how to use it. Dogs are allowed for a one off $30 fee. The TV does not have an aerial, only DVDs. There is no wifi and phone reception can be patchy. The property is its own little valley with old stone walls and two waterfalls. You can go for walks exploring the rain forest. The cabin is next to a lovely little creek and the orchard. The price is for two people using one bed. Extra bedding, linen and towels are available for a fee. We are a working farm and there will be cow poo on the driveway. We live on the property and work on weekends as well, so we cannot guarantee complete silence. The driveway is 800 m long and unsealed.
The Kiama area is very beautiful with the volcanic origins making it very lush and green in summer. There are lots of beautiful beaches, nice restaurants, nice shops in Kiama, Gerringong and Berry. Plenty of other attractions in the area like Jamberoo Action Park, Shoalhaven Zoo, Trees Adventure, etc. Museums in Gerringong, Kiama and Berry, and the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society in Albion Park. Many other attractions, Southern Highlands and Jervis Bay both one hour away.
  • Our week long stay at Natalie's rustic cabin was just perfect! The cabin is a wonderful, spacious and private place to have a break from busy Sydney. The setting in beautiful Rose Valley is magnificent, a secluded fairy tale landscape only 5 mins off the highway. Amenities were much better as expected. The king size mattress on the cosy mezzanine level turned out to be super comfy. We didn't have any problems with the composting toilet for the entire week. The whole cabin has a real heritage feel with much attention to detail. Communication with Natalie was excellent, check-in was easy, we didn't have any problems throughout the week. Natalie looked after us very well and provided us with fresh farm eggs in the mornings. We'll definitely be back soon!

  • What a fantastic cottage retreat! Natalie has thought of all the best touches to make the stay comfortable and charming! Beautiful and relaxing, and the animals rite next door realy help with the country cottage feel. Highly recommend! Will hopefully find time to come back.

  • If you want a slice of heaven- this is it! I have traveled a lot and would have to say this is close to be my favourite place on earth. It suited my tastes perfectly from the gorgeous homes to the creek, proximity to towns, seclusion and bath! The ONLY thing that could make this more perfect would be if (it were my own...) or had an indoor fire place for Winter because I can’t wait to come back! Loved exploring the property and how close it was to Gerringong and Kiama. This is truly a quiet slice of heaven and would be IDEAL for a quiet weekend away from the kids, however, my 2 year old loved the cows, horses and roaming chickens and we enjoyed paddling in the creek. I honestly can’t wait to come back. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous piece of property with us!

    Lucinda2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location, with the best of both worlds. Amongst the green paddocks and only 6 minutes from the beach. I stayed here with my partner and we loved how secluded it was. Would recommend if you are in need of / want a rejuvenating weekend. Very comfy bed!

    Leah2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so cute. Its rustic but without feeling like you're roughing it too much. Went for a nice walk and ran into a few cows...so adorable! The place was very clean and homely, loved the style of the place especially the shower! The pictures don't really show where the homestead is, it is probably 100 m away and although its closer than I realised it wasn't an issue at all. Natalie was there to welcome us and answer any questions and then left us to enjoy.

    Jess2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay in a picturesque farm setting. Beautiful part of Australia, with lush green hills and friendly cows. The cottage is stripped back and made for switching off your devices and simply relaxing. Bit hot in summer but otherwise lovely.

    Peter2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Had a splendid time at Natalie's. The cottage was exactly as described and very well equipped in the kitchen. Very cozy and welcoming home set in beautiful surroundings with lots friendly local farm animals and bird life. There were flowers and fresh eggs on our arrival, and delicious marmalade and toast, tea, coffee. Very easy to visit the nearby beaches and coast walks, the cafes of Gerringong and Kiama but also lovely to enjoy the privacy, peace and quiet of a rural retreat. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

    David2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely, quaint little rustic cottage with a pretty garden to look out onto. Loved having chooks and beef cattle wandering around the cottage and there was an abundance of pretty birds visiting the garden. Close to Kiama and Gerringong for beach and cafe trips.

On the property itself there is a private waterfall. It takes around 10-15 min to walk to- Go past the tennis courts, through the gate above the chicken coupe and head into the rain forest. There is an abundance of native plants, trees and animals to be found on the way. Do wear closed footwear to avoid bringing any critters back with you during the wet season. Please close the gates at all times so the cattle is kept away from the house.

  • This is such a lovely, well thought out space. Shane was there to greet us on arrival and to show us where everything was within the unit and to offer some ideas of what to do around town. The unit was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and was in such a great location. Thank you too for the yummy baked bread and scones. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone coming to Kiama.

    Sheena2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Shane was the perfect host who made us feel welcome, meeting us promptly and spoiling us with home made bread and scones. Basics like tea, coffee, sugar, milk and bread were provided. He also offered good advice on local walks, beaches and places to eat. The apartment is cleverly designed to offer privacy and it makes great use of the space and natural light. It was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. We could not fault our stay. Thank you Shane for your generous hospitality.

  • This is a lovely space with a view of the sea. Clean and comfortable with all the conveniences of a small apartment. The host is delightful and considerate.

  • The place is essentially a self contained apartment separated from the rest of the house. Everything was well kept and clean, with close proximity to the beach and a 20 minute walk to Kiama CBD. The kitchen was a bit small, but the bedroom, bathroom and living room were spacious enough. While it was a little on the expensive side, the accommodation was worth the price and we definitely enjoyed our stay here.

    Weilon2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • A charming, well designed Kiama gem, with the sight and sound of the ocean ensuring my cares were left far behind. Particularly loved being able to see the sea from the deck; the cool afternoon sea breeze; being able to walk to the beach in 5 minutes; ability to make a simple meal in the kitchen space. A local cafe, IGA and bottle shop are within a 5 minute walk with the main shops being more of a drive in the summer heat, but only a 5 minute drive away. Shane is an impeccable and interesting host.

    Eloise2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely welcoming space and in a great location. The hospitality was wonderful and privacy for visitors is carefully respected. I hope to visit again. Thanks Shane

Welcome to our beautiful homestead and operating farm nestled against the lush hillside overlooking Hyam’s Creek in the Jamberoo Valley. Less than two hours’ south of Sydney, within an easy drive of the quaint villages and award-winning restaurants of the Southern Highlands and 10 mins to the pristine beaches of Kiama and Gerringong, it’s the perfect base for your next getaway. The property is not available for bucks parties, for group's of males or students.
The homestead boasts charming traditional interiors with warm fireplaces, a dining room seating 12, rambling gardens, and cosy, beautifully-appointed accommodation for families or groups of up to ten. Venturing beyond the garden, you’ll find a tennis court, orchard, herb garden and henhouse. Farm tours can be arranged along with your booking, where you’ll meet the resident animals: cows, pigs, goats, chickens and guinea fowl. The homestead is fully self-contained, with stainless-steel appliances and all mod-cons. Enthusiastic cooks can enjoy the Baume double oven, as well as a gas barbeque on the deck overlooking the valley. There is reverse cycle air-con, but during the cooler months, settle in by the romantic wood fire. All your supplies can be picked up in Jamberoo village, where you’ll find a grocery store, butcher’s, newsagent, patisserie and bottle shop just two minutes’ drive from your front door.
A picturesque village, Jamberoo is in the beautiful hinterland of the Kiama region on the NSW South Coast. You’ll be delighted and thrilled with the attractions, from a giant waterslide and soaring zip-line to the rainforest splendour of Budderoo National Park and the magnificent Carrington Falls. Getting to Jamberoo is easy. The scenic drive northwest from Kiama is about 10 minutes and only 30 minutes southwest from Wollongong and less than two hours southwest from Sydney. A number of 19th century buildings are in the village, which traces its colonial history back to cedar cutters. Stop for a drink and hearty meal in Jamberoo Pub, established in 1857. Places to stay include the inn and the lovingly restored colonial buildings Terragong 1858 and The Belltower, a former church built in 1875. On the last Sunday of the month is the Jamberoo Arts and Craft Fair, a delightful market. One of the exciting things to do is visit Jamberoo Action Park, north of the village. Enjoy multi-storey water rides such as the Funnel Web and speed down a mountain on a toboggan. Another adventure near the village is soaring on Australia’s highest zip-line at the Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures. Enchanting rainforest is a short drive away at the Minnamurra Rainforest Centre, where you can stroll on a boardwalk in the forest. Take the scenic Jamberoo Mountain Road to the Carrington Falls and see the Kangaroo River plunge into Kangaroo Valley. A pretty picnic area is near the waterfall.
  • Heaven ! That's what you can expect.

  • Our weekend at Sarah's farm stay was lovely. We were a group of 8 friends , so we played games, feed the animals & had a fun walk around the property. I would highly recommend this homestead for anyone wanting to getaway within a couple of hours from Sydney.

  • Absolutely stunning property located in a peaceful valley just 3 minutes from Jambaroo township with a great IGA Supermarket and 15 minutes to Kiama and its beaches. Beautiful setting, extremely spacious character home. We were three families with 4 adults and 5 kids under 10 who could walk the acres, feed the dozen or so chickens, visit the goats , calves and cows. On site handyman was super helpful. Lots of room to play and rest with a fantastic rural outlook. Moments to Minamurra Rainforest and Jambaroo Action Park. Really well appointed, relaxed home with glorious views, high ceilings, lots of light and space. Just brilliant!

  • Great family getaway destination. Very quiet, heaps of space, nice views over the countryside. The house helper who lives on the property was very friendly and helpful and gave our family a tour of the farm which the kids loved. Very clean. You will need a car though as it’s a bit out of the way in the countryside.

  • The Tiny House is absolutely breathtaking, feels like you’re the only one’s in the world up on that green hill. If you’re used to the city life and need a couple of days to go off grid and reset- THIS IS THE PLACE. In saying that, it’s also the easiest drive to great cafes, groceries etc. Would recommend over and over again

    Amy2019-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • Our tiny home experience was RIDICULOUSLY beautiful - we loved every second of our time here. From building bonfires, to watching the sun rise and set, to cooking up a storm and sitting under the stars - it was perfect. The house was a great (tiny) size and everything worked seamlessly.

    Lily2019-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny house was lovely and located on a beautiful, lush hill in the middle of a beautiful area! It was wonderful and green even in summer :)

    Lauren2019-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures do not do this place justice - it was even more beautiful, added to by the sounds of crickets and birds all around you. At night, the most rolls in, making you feel like your inside a cloud. The tiny house gives a new meaning to ‘glamping’ with comfy beds, electricity and an impressive hot shower all with amazing views and not another person in sight. The tiny house has everything you could imagine to make your stay comfortable including a ‘survival kit’ on arrival which is a lovely touch - the eye masks were much appreciated as the house has no blinds, so prepare to be woken up early for an amazing sunrise. The instructions provided when we booked made the place easy to find, and was great we could drive right up to it. Stefan was very communicative and got back to us right away when we asked for some extra sheets. Would definitely stay in this, or any of the ‘tiny’ houses - which really have more than enough space for 2 people to enjoy a private, peaceful getaway.

    Alicia2018-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • This a very special place. Very private and beautiful. The gorgeous tiny house is sitting on the top of a hill and not even an other house can be seen. While it’s in the middle of nature the shops and pub of Robertson is only ten minutes drive away. We loved building a fire and cooking our dinner under the starts, then going inside enjoying the stylish little house’s comfort. The house has everything you need inside and it is quite spacious for 2 people. We will be back for sure!

    Andrea2018-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Minimalist, simplicity, nature, warm, cosy, beautiful, serene and joyful. Tiny house that packs alot of comfort and warmth and joy to realise what it is that is really valuable in life. The sunrise, the sky, the mountains, the green grass, the birds, the fire, the mist, no buzzing of TVs or Wi-Fi, just peaceful sounds of nature and some silence and stillness, the company of your loved ones is what makes this place so amazing. You can find this anywhere but here at the tiny house it is vivid and more present alongside the luxuries of a warm shower, fridge, board games, warm cosy bed and window lounge, cup of tea/coffee when you want to retreat inside from the heat/cold/hot sun. Charming and beautiful decor inside to make you feel like you are a part of something that can feature in a travel magazine or blog. Simple and serene to make you feel like you can really feel like you are one with nature and get the grounding and serenity so that you remember what it is like to just be.

    Agnes2018-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Spent 2 nights at this wonderful hilltop cabin with excellent views. Was the perfect getaway from chaotic city life waking up to the sounds of nature and gazing at starry nights. Was definitely an in2thewild experience. Very refreshing, with all basic amenities included in the package, would love to be back sometime again

Stockyard Mountain Cottage is a cosy and private cottage nestled on the mountain between Jamberoo and Tullimbar, less than 2 hours from Sydney. Set on 150 acres, the Cottage is located in a pretty corner of the property overlooking a dam and surrounded by lots of natural bush. Kangaroos often come to the dam in the evenings and there are "resident" wombats living near the Cottage. The property itself offers magnificent views over the escarpment, Jamberoo and the coastline.
Best suited to either 1 or 2 couples but can also accommodate a couple with children. The Cottage has a downstairs bedroom and an upstairs loft bedroom - the loft is accessed by a pull-out ladder and care should be taken when accessing this space. There is a fully-equipped kitchen (small fridge only, no microwave and no dishwasher - best for simple creations rather than big cook-ups) and a 2 burner barbeque outside. There is also a bath in the bathroom to soak your cares away. The Cottage runs on solar and has an inverter for charging mobile phones or playing your own music but has no TV - it is a place for either taking time out for yourself or for interacting with those who are with you. It is a perfect spot to just chill out, read, write, go for walks, meditate, do yoga, listen to nature and sit by the fire with a wine in the evenings. Once you arrive you will probably not want to leave, however if you do want to explore the area then there are many options available. Feel free to walk around the property but please be aware that it is a rural property with 2 small dams, so keep an eye on any children and watch where you walk. The other vehicular track on our property leads to our neighbours property - please respect their privacy and avoid trespassing by turning back if you arrive at their site whilst out for a walk (note: security cameras are present). The drive in from the main gate is about 2km and is via a shared gravel road - accessible by 2WD. There is complimentary tea and coffee with fresh milk from our dairy farm.
The mountain is predominantly made up of beef cattle farms and horse agistment properties but also has a large amount of natural bush as it is part of the Illawarra Escarpment. The property itself is within: - 20 minutes drive of Jamberoo and the beautiful Jamberoo Valley. - 30 minutes drive of Kiama beaches and Blowhole. - 30 minutes drive of Shellharbour beaches. Also within an easy drive are: - The Southern Highland towns of Robertson, Moss Vale, Bowral etc. - Various waterfalls including Carrington Falls, Fitzroy Falls and Minnamurra Falls. - Various other places of interest including Illawarra Fly Tree Walk, the Kiama Blowhole and Jamberoo Action /Fun Park. The closest supermarket and coffee shop is also only a 15 minute drive away at Albion Park.
  • My boyfriend and I had such a special time at Tracy’s beautiful and rustic cottage. We loved the collection of eclectic furniture and homey touches. 'The Dairy' was one of the original dairy milking sheds in Upper Kangaroo River. This cottage has been lovingly restored and creatively transformed into luxury accommodation using reclaimed and recycled materials. A luxurious eco-haven for a peaceful escape from the everyday world! The three sets of French doors, which used to allow three cows in to be milked at once, now allow the living area to be opened to the alfresco dining area which is covered by an old wisteria vine.
The Dairy can sleep up to four people, with a comfortable pillow top queen bed as well as a pullout sofa bed in the sitting area, however is mostly suited to 2 guests due to the size of the space. There is an indoor spa bath and separate shower, but for the ultimate bath experience with a difference, why not relax in the outdoor garden bath. There is a rustic wood-fired stove to keep you cozy in The Dairy during winter, and air conditioning to keep the space cool in summer. Facilities in the cottage include linen and towels, free wireless internet, and ceiling fan - plus air conditioning. The well-appointed kitchen overlooking paddocks will inspire you to create country fare. There is an espresso machine stocked with fresh coffee beans roasted right here in Kangaroo Valley. Feel free to pick herbs from the garden and collect the free range eggs from our chickens Established walking tracks through varying landscape take you through paddocks, escarpment, rainforest, offering many picnic spots with breathtaking views and abundant wildlife. See kangaroos, wallabies and wombats up close in their natural environment! Whether you choose to explore everything the valley has to offer, or to relax in the garden, or by the fire with a good book, Broger's End is a wonderful escape. Broger's End is accredited with EcoTourism Australia. We are powered by the sun with our solar panels and Tesla battery. We collect rainwater for all our water and have composting systems for food scraps and other waste. We aim to tread as lightly as we can on this beautiful part of the world. Located just 2 hours drive from Sydney or Canberra, and 6 km from Kangaroo Valley Village, Broger’s End is the perfect place to relax and enjoy what the Australian bush has to offer. Broger's End is located ifar enough from the village to be a peaceful retreat, but close enough to pop into town for dinner at a nice restaurant, or visit the shops. Whilst we welcome all guests and groups - The Dairy is set up perfectly for a couple or two guests. Children and extra guests are welcome but please keep in mind that there is limited space. Feel free to message us to discuss prior to booking.
The dairy is located on a quiet rural road, about 6 km from the main village of Kangaroo Valley. The Dairy is close enough to go in for a nice meal at one of the local restaurants, but far enough away to feel you have escaped from the hustle and bustle of life! Surrounded by farmland and bush - a peaceful stay for all travellers.
  • Me and my partner stayed in the dairy for 2 nights and it was a beautiful little getaway! Such a relaxing spot would highly recommend

  • The dairy was an incredible little getaway for myself and my partner (who proposed to me on our first night!), the space is run so thoughtfully, it truly feels like running your own little farm for a couple of days. Highly recommend!

  • A lovely reclaimed dairy, perfect for a couple. It has a very peaceful and calming ambience, very cosy and comfortable, and a lovely outlook over green paddocks down to kangaroo river. The house is full of nice little touches, like antique furniture and light fixtures. The kitchen was well set up to cook a stovetop meal. The focus on solar power and battery storage was great to see, as was the overall commitment to sustainability. We would love to come back in the future and relive what was a lovely weekend for us. The only regret we had was not staying a third night. Tori was very helpful organising a picnic platter and suggesting nice walks we could do around the area. Definitely worth visiting!

    Nick2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Dairy at Broger's End is well set up for a nice, quiet and relaxing retreat. It is a fairly small space with air conditioning so is easy to keep at a comfortable temperature. We found the hosts to be very helpful. As expected for a rural property, you may not want to be too squeamish about flies, spiders and lizards.

  • The farm stay was great for our family holiday. The surroundings were breath taking. Not having wifi/reception helped us to connect as a family without any distractions. Lots of walks availble and Kangaroo Valley Town was close by. Really enjoyed the time. Thanks!

  • A gorgeous country cottage tucked up off the road very close to the river. It was a perfect place for two families of two children each to meet for a weekend. The cottage was clean, very well stocked, with two living areas and a lovely outdoor covered verandah. A little stroll down to the river each day, for skimming stones, swimming and exploring. The cottage gardens and fields provided fun for the children - there was no need to travel to the township as everything was here that we needed.

Private, self-contained cottage set amongst green pastures, rolling hills and bushland - A great rural getaway. Close to national parks, waterfalls and lookouts with coastal views. The delightful country village of Robertson is a short drive away.
This modern self-contained cottage is the product of renovating the farm's defunct dairy.
  • Well equipped, beautiful space with lovely homey touches. Great communication with Host, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • We had a great stay at Brendhan’s place and he was very accommodating. The space is immaculate, modern and light with beautiful views across farmland. We enjoyed the information about local history and would recommend this place!

    Anna2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully renovated little place, very private, well stocked with kitchen appliances and cooking utensils, and lovely space looking out over the fields. Had a great time and Brendhan was great to communicate with.

  • What a perfect relaxing retreat. Even though it's close to a road, there's hardly any cars in the evening and throughout the night. It was very quiet. It was nostalgic to unexpectedly find Canadian monopoly! It was a great touch as we're both from Canada. There was also so many unexpected cooking tools, many more than I've found at other Airbnbs. Also nice that there was a washer and drying machine for our wet clothes from the day!

    Gabrielle2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cost spot with great farm views. Close to Robertson and we were lucky with recent rain the local waterfalls were really kicking!

Winduga is close to family-friendly activities such as picnics by the river, walking, tennis in Berry, kayaking in Kangaroo Valley, bushwalking to Drawing Room Rocks or just playing Monopoly by the fire. You’ll love Winduga because of the views, the ambience, and the great unspoilt outdoors. Winduga is good for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
You can enjoy and explore 160 acres of bush, paddocks and a pristine river to swim, spot platypus, wallabies, wombats and feed the king parrots. Enjoy the quiet serenity of a salt water pool with amazing views or a leisurely bath in solar heated spring water. Stargaze at the Southern Cross while cooking a barbeque and watch the moon rise over the sandstone escarpment - all only 2.5 hours from Sydney and 10 minutes from Berry. The cottage is comfortable with a rustic theme. The kitchen is well equipped, plenty of books, DVDs and games are on the shelves for your enjoyment and the newly renovated bathroom and kitchen is a treat.
You will come for the view and want to stay for the tranquility. The cycling is excellent and challenging, the cafes, bakeries and restaurants in Berry are recommended and the beaches at nearby Gerroa and Jervis Bay are superb.
  • This house is sooooooo lovely! So peaceful and amazing views. We loved staying here it was stunning. About 10 mins drive to berry which was great! The house is lovely, fireplace and lots of wood !! and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed! We predominantly chose this place for the pool and the weekend was hot so we were looking toward to a swim unfortunately the pool wasn’t cleaned, the water was definitely clear and clean but the bottom of the pool needed a Hoover and a clean as there was lots of dirt resting at the bottom, this house is so lovely and clean so it was a little disappointing, would recommend the host organise pool “Hoover”’prior to bookings we this was literally the only negative thing I can say! I would definitely come back and definitely recommend :)

  • Beautiful cottage with views across the mountains and valley. You will be instantley switched off from reality as you pull in the drive and look out over the cottage and swimming pool into the lush country side. Very private, and freedom to roam the land. Dog haven, lots of room for them to run and explore. Outdoor and indoor activities for kids. Really clean, comfortable and functional house with modern kitchen, bathroom and laundry. The perfect family getaway.

The Spiral House at Cloudfarm should be on every couples "bucket list". This unique miniature home is perched on the highest point of the Illawarra escarpment, in a totally private and idyllic location immersed in nature. Wake up to breathtaking views towards the escarpment and ocean; Relax in the open air bathtub, take in the night sky and twinkling lights on the coast ; go for a stroll on our 33 acre property. Relax, rejuvenate, reconnect.
The Spiral House at Cloudfarm has been designed as a luxury nature retreat for couples . The building lay dormant for many years and during 2018 has undergone a complete renovation. This miniature house has been carefully shaped, maintaining a small environmental footprint and crafted using materials that have been re-purposed or sourced locally. The space also showcases the work of your hosts, award winning artists Celeste Coucke and Stephen Fearnley. Original paintings and ceramics- such as the porcelain lamp above the dining table and the plates and bowls in the kitchen as well as the tiles in the kitchen and behind the fireplace- have been lovingly hand made at Cloudfarm Studios. The firewood that we provide for our guests is sustainably sourced from a local firewood supplier. With no TV in the space, guests have the opportunity to experience screen free time; and whilst good mobile coverage is available, guests will need to provide their own data. More About Cloudfarm… Cloudfarm covers 13.35 hectares and is situated on the highest point of the Illawarra escarpment just under 800m above sea level. Mt Murray is the core of an ancient volcano- and you are right on top of it! Basaltic soils and high rainfall support a diversity of flora and fauna. Vegetation consists predominantly of tableland basalt forest (An Ecologically Endangered Community), native grassland and temperate rainforest. Most of the property was once cleared as farmland however the protected rocky slopes are in more or less original condition, supporting a rare fragment of endangered temperate rainforest. The rainforest is now regenerating and covers approximately one third of the property, with two thirds mostly native grassland. A magnificent stand of Eucalyptus fastigata crowns the top of the mountain, a remnant of endangered tableland basalt forest. Cloudfarm also forms part of an important wildlife corridor between the Macquarie Pass National Park and Sydney water catchment. We are currently taking part in the “Thin Green Line Project”. The “Thin Green Line” is a corridor which links native vegetation and wildlife between Victoria and Queensland. Cloudfarm is located at a particularly important part of this corridor, as it is east of Robertson that the line is thinnest. Native animals and vegetation are particularly vulnerable here, as a result of the activities of humans and feral animals. Wildlife: We have lots, all generally shy and nocturnal. Your nearest neighbours are wombats- there's a big active wombat burrow right next to Spiral House! Cloudfarm is a member of the Wildlife Lands Trust and we are also members of Wildlife Rescue South Coast. Cloudfarm is home to rescued wombats. We have left a torch in the kitchen if you want to go night walking. Please note: all our wildlife- including the rehabilitated wombats- are wild. If you spot a wombat, watch it from a respectful distance. Wildlife known to inhabit the property include bare nosed wombats (Vombatus ursinus), swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), brushtail (Trichosurus vulpecula) and ringtail (Pseudocheirus peregrinus) possums, gliders (Petaurus spp.), spotted-tailed quolls (Dasyurus maculatus), long-nosed bandicoots (Perameles nasuta), koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus), eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus), antechinus (Antechinus spp.), short-beaked echidnas (Tachyglossus aculeatus), red-bellied black snakes (Pseudechis porphyriacus), highland copperheads (Austrelaps ramsayi), tiger snakes (Notechis scutatus), blue-tongued lizards (Tiliqua scincoides scincoides), frogs and fresh water turtles. A long- nosed Potoroo (Potorous tridactylus) has recently been photographed in the rainforest. This is very exciting as these animals, along with spotted-tailed quolls, are listed as vulnerable. Cloudfarm is also home to diverse bird life which includes wonga pigeons (Leucosarcia melanoleuca), superb fairy-wrens (Malurus cyaneus), golden whistlers (Pachycephala pectoralis), eastern whipbirds (Psophodes olivaceus), superb lyrebirds (Menura novaehollandiae), satin (Ptilonorhynchus violaceus) bowerbirds, wedge-tailed eagles (Aquila audax), grey shrike-thrushes (Colluricincla harmonica), eastern rosellas (Platycercus eximius), yellow-tailed black-cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus funereus), king parrots (Alisterus scapularis), magpies (Cracticus tibicen), whistling kites (Haliastur sphenurus), brown goshawks (Accipiter fasciatus), tawny frogmouth (Podargus strigoides), southern boobooks (Ninox boobook), welcome swallows (Hirundo neoxena), barn owls (Tyto alba), laughing kookaburras (Dacelo novaeguineae), common bronzewings (Phaps chalcoptera), honeyeaters and finches... and many more.
There are maps and information about the local area contained in a folder in Spiral House. If you need advice about anything, we are happy to help- just ask.
  • My husband and I had a lovely couple of days at Spiral House! It's in a great location, very thoughtfully furnished and the view is amazing. So great to be able to sit outside in the bathtub on the deck to take it in! The house has everything you need for relaxing getaway and the items in the fridge for breakfast were a lovely addition. We loved passing by Bessie and Sassie the pet cows on our way in and out each day. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back for another stay in the future.

    Stephanie2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful romantic get away for a couple. Perfect for a weekend away to focus on loving and spending time with a loved one, Spiral House is made with many wonderful touches. It sits nestled on Mount Murray away from anything else but still a short drive to Robertson.

  • One of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! Such a stunning getaway from everything. You feel like you’re in your own little world in this place. During the day you can drive to Belmore falls or Carrington falls (waterfalls) or nellies glen which is a natural stunning swim spot. Having a glass of wine in the tub at sunset topped it all off. Absolutely loved it. We will be back!

    Rachel2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Best Airbnb experience I have had, beautiful little house in a great location. Amazing views, fresh air and really great thoughtful touches like handmade pottery and delicious breakfast supplies. Would recommend to anyone as a perfect place to relax!

Gorgeous boutique stay in Gerringong. Custom-built for a couple, Infinity on Willowvale has a king-size bed, spa bath for two, and huge deck to take in the views. Everything is designed for relaxation. INFINITY is located among the rolling green hills on the idyllic Willowvale Road, that boasts working dairy farms and the stunning Crooked River Winery. Just 5 minutes from the beach, you'll feel you're a million miles from everywhere.
If you're looking for a place you can unwind completely, with peaceful, luxurious touches to truly indulge, you're heading to the right place. Come and experience the tranquillity - we are brand-new, opened in December 2018. From the moment you turn into Willowvale Road and start winding your way past the vineyards of Crooked River Winery, you know you're in a very special place. Gerringong's picturesque beaches are just minutes behind you, Saddleback Mountain stretches across the sky to the north, and 2 kms along the road you reach the peaceful vistas of Infinity on Willowvale. Take in the exquisite rural views from every room or watch the magnificent sunsets from the spa bath or deck. The kitchen and outdoor BBQ mean you can cook as much or as little as you want. Note that there is no oven or stove, but there is a microwave and BBQ. INFINITY can accommodate four people, however there is no door between the bedroom and the lounge room (where the sofa bed is), and the bathroom is accessed via the bedroom. So it's an ideal space for a couple, or friends and family that don't need bedroom privacy.
The coastal Gerringong village is just three kilometres away, with cafes, markets and a great beach vibe. Gerringong boasts stunning surfing and swimming beaches. Get out the surfboard for the waves at Werri, or enjoy the pristine quieter waves of Gerroa's Seven Mile Beach.

  • A comfortable and relaxing stay in such a magical location. We helped ourselves into the accommodation to find a bottle of wine and food platter for us. Everything about the house was incredibly clean and comfortable and there were enough amenities for us to cook for ourselves. However, the town of Gerrigong was a quick drive away for when we wanted to eat out. The lawn area is lovely to sit in and soak up the afternoon sun and watch the sunset. For a city dweller, it was surreal to watch the stars at midnight from the comfort of our balcony. A truly magical getaway, will be returning.

    Kayla2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Infinity was the most beautiful place for us newly weds to relax in after our big wedding weekend. We will defiantly be back. Thanks for the bottle of wine and cheese! Very thoughtful.

Just over two hours drive from Sydney or Canberra is Lothlorien, a secluded five acre property nestled below Black Ash Nature Reserve on Berry Mountain. The villages of Berry and Kangaroo Valley are just ten minutes drive away, the beaches 20. The self-contained timber Yurt offers an unpretentious hideaway for two. Tucked in to the edge of the rainforest and set in a small orchard this sunny north-facing Mongolian-style Yurt is regularly visited by wombats, parrots, bowerbirds and lyrebirds
The Yurt is a nonsmoking environment and contains a bed-sitting room (Queen-sized bed) and attached ensuite. The Yurt offers a fridge, microwave, TV DVD and CD players, crockery and cutlery. A healthy continental breakfast is included.
The villages of Berry and Kangaroo Valley are ten minutes drive and offer an exotic mix of shopping and restaurants. Cambewarra Lookout (10 Mins) offers stunning views of the fabulous South Coast beaches which are barely 20 minutes away. Or you can just stroll nearby Black Ash Nature Reserve. In the Yurt are plenty of guides to help you choose!
  • We spent two nights at the Yurt and found it to be a lovely getaway. Directions on how to get there were very clear and we saw a wombat within 5 metres of entering the property! The Yurt is very cozy and rustic. There are brochures and guidebooks to help plan activities and just enough amenities. Lovely breakfast food is provided and there is a kettle and toaster. Just a short drive from Berry and Kangaroo Valley, we had a wonderful weekend and would definitely come back.

  • Had a beautiful stay at bobs yurt, was exactly how we expected it to be warm and cosy and an awesome get away for the weekend, good selection of movies and a delicious breakfast, saw some wildlife even with the rain. would highly recommend with it also only being a 5min drive from berry for awesome lunch and dinner options

    Michael2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place for a getaway to escape the daily grind. We spent 3 nights at Bob and Noreen's Yurt and the place couldn't get any more relaxing. Short drive down the mountain to berry. Another short drive to the closest beach. We saw 3 wombats and a kangaroo. The birds are amazing. this place is a must for anyone who needs to wind down.

    Patrick2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • The Yurt is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship situated far enough from Bob and Noreen's house for some privacy and quiet but close enough if you did need to ask them for something. We didn't, as they provided us with everything we needed for our stay - multiple choices for breakfast, information about the area and even cushions for the chairs outside. They really have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We also enjoyed the wildlife we could see, right from the Yurt's front porch or within 5 minutes of walking - so many birds, wombats and even some kangaroos in the distance.

    Rachael2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely experience

    Christine2019-12-08T00:00:00Z

  • If you are wanting to get away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life, then this is it. Expect peace & quiet for your stay with the occasional bird to be heard in the background. The fridge was well stocked for breakfast and Bob & Noreen were very generous hosts and keen to make sure that we had everything we needed.

  • Kevin's place is a little country cottage getaway. Great base to explore Berry and the Jervis Bay area. The place has all the amenities you would need for a few days away from the city and a huge TV if you need to catch up on the outside world after a day of exploring the South Coast.

It was easy to get in contact with Kristen, the cottage has a wonderful feel to it and the breakfast she supplied was lovely. The area is stunning and neighbouring cows are very friendly, as is Peppa who greeted us!! Would definitely stay again, thank you so much for hosting us.

  • Lisa and Alasdair’s place was a beautiful couples getaway. Situated just next door to the main house with access to the pool, it felt comfortable and private. The space was large and very clean, easy check in/out process and easy communication. Beautiful location with a short drive to both Berry Town centre and seven mile beach. We had a great time and would love to go back!

    Rachael2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • This property is amazing, very spacious, the scenery is beautiful and very close to Berry, Geroa and Gerringong. It was nice and quiet at night. Only thing to keep in mind is it's very close to the main house (5 metres) and shares a driveway where the owners park right outside the unit so expect some noise from owners, cars and dogs and it not to be completely private unless you're inside. However the owners did try to stay out of sight as much as possible, we were just expecting it to be a bit more private. Their little puppy was adorable!

    Alana2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous property. Easy to find. Extremely tidy and clean and just beautiful to wake up and look out over the property and see the horses in the morning. Very quiet area and completely surrounded by nature. Great hosts. Great amenities. Great place. Highly recommend Lisa and Alasdair’s property.

  • Such a beautiful place to stay. Great location for a peaceful getaway. The studio has everything you could ask for as well as a nice relaxing pool right outside. Complemented by a sweeping valley panorama, the house is fully equipped, including linen and close to Berry and 20 mins to beach. Late checkout usually. Sydney Magazine, "The view is captivating, while indulgent accommodation awaits indoors."
Beautiful forrest setting with sweeping valley and mountain view but still close to Berry town. Surrounded by national park and farmland. Two separate accommodation wings each with own bathroom (shower & bath). Continuous hot water - no running out. Spacious living area with high ceilings and open fire place. Guests always comment on how well equipped the kitchen is and how they like being connected to the conversations in the sitting/dining areas. Away is a truly inspirational location. You will experience the many, changing moods of the valley; thick cream white fogs linger in the early morning and dissipate before lunchtime. Clouds rise over the ridges and change colours with the sunset. They race overhead with the strong winds and cascade over the mountains like a misty waterfall. Sunset sweeps up the side of the mountain, casting a golden shadow line and strikes the escarpment behind the house which glows orange in the clear afternoon light. It is the changing moods of the valley that ensure guests have a unique and rewarding experience each time they stay and explains why we have so many returning guests who comment how different their experience was, depending on the weather even though they stayed at the same time of the year. Abundant birds; coloured parrots and wombats.
The house is surrounded by National Park and two enormous working farms. You will see no other houses, only forrest and sweeping valley views. Wildlife and colourful birds abound. You will be enchanted by their calls and the moods of the valley, depending on the weather and the stars at night. You will see what stars are supposed to look like.
  • Amazing mountains view , relaxing atmosphere, suprised visitors( birds and wallabies). We're cooking in a big kitchen and having dinner with mountains view•••••a real holiday. Good and prompt communication with owner Ross.

  • Ross’s place is gorgeous! You’ll feel instantly relaxed when you walk in. The view and location are perfect. Easy ten min drive to town of Berry. Nice big kitchen with everything, two big bathrooms with baths and fireplace to keep it cosy. My girlfriends and I loved our stay. It is also fantastic value for what you get. Thanks Ross!

  • The house is so large, with two wings comprising of two large bedrooms and a bathroom each, the space is perfect for a group of friends or two families. The main living area has the best views of the valley, two wood fires warm the house very efficiently. The large kitchen was perfect for cooking meals and was fully stoked with all you could need. I can not recommend this house enough and we will definitely be back. Thank you Ross and Cassiano.

Set amongst the green pastures of Rose Valley yet only five minutes from Gerringong and the beach. Enjoy reading a book next to the pool or explore local towns like Berry and Kiama. Walk along the beautiful coast line to Kiama or play a round of golf at the spectacular Gerringong golf course with ocean views. There are lots of things to do or just chill out at home.
The space is a little cabin which contains all the basics. It is only suited to couples or people who don't mind that there is no privacy for the shower as it is in the main and only room. The room has air-conditioning, a shower, a toilet cubicle and a small kitchenette with a microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a BBQ available under cover and a fridge/freezer as well. It is not suitable for large scale cooking, there are many nice restaurants around. Please ask for recommendations when you are booking. My house is close but on the Eastern side of the cabin is a secluded veranda which is private and shielded by a large hedge. You are most welcome to enjoy the pool which is right next to the cabin. There is a large lawn in the front on which you can play boules or kick a footy.
Rose Valley is a dairy farming area and my place is surrounded by dairy pasture and cattle can be grazing nearby. Rose Valley Road is a quiet dead end road and you can go for lovely walks up the valley. It is only 5 minutes to drive to the beach (Werri Beach) and the town of Gerringong. Berry is about 20 minutes away.
  • My partner and I had a great weekend here! This super cute cabin was a perfect place to stay when attending a wedding at Seacliff house (just down the road). Would recommend 👍

    Eloise2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is a lovely stay and Tony is lovely and has great communication. Would recommend it for a couple or a single traveller as the shower is not the most private (which is not a criticism, but just for your info). The place was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Thanks for the great stay!

    Areta2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • A very sweet little cabin in a lovely setting. A beautiful garden with lovely large trees and birds. Nice to sit outside the cabin with a cup of tea. The bed was cosy for a good sleep and it was great for our two night stay. Very close to Gerringong and Kiama and beaches but a little quieter and something a bit different. Tony is a friendly, helpful and relaxed host. We really appreciated our time there. Thank you, Tony.

Cloudfarm is a unique 33 acre property perched on the highest point of the Illawarra escarpment with breathtaking views. A world away, yet conveniently located 7 minutes from Robertson and 25 minutes from Bowral and Moss Vale. Whether it is for a romantic get-away, or to explore the Southern Highlands natural beauty and experience local vineyards, farm produce and chic shopping, Cloudfarm is the perfect base. Immerse yourself in serene ambiance and return home refreshed and revitalised.
The Cloudpad is a self-contained studio apartment with stunning views, privately situated at the Southern end of our farmhouse. During the winter months, a slow combustion fireplace keeps the Cloudpad warm and cosy. It's a rare and deeply nurturing treat to curl up by the fire and watch the glowing embers from your bed. As we are committed to our environment, we only supply sustainably harvested firewood, so what you are burning has not been the result of the destruction of precious habitat. The space reflects our eclectic aesthetic, decorated with original artworks, hand made ceramics and posters collected from our travels. The building is mud brick, which adds to a sense of rustic ambience. It's cool in summer and stays warm for longer in winter. The space is best suited to couples, however there is a king-single bed in a small adjoining bedroom. Cloudfarm is a member of The Wildlife Lands Trust, auspiced by Humane Society International. We are also members of Wildlife Rescue South Coast.
CLOUDFARM AND OUR LOCAL AREA HAS NOT BEEN AFFECTED BY THE RECENT BUSHFIRES. Robertson is called "The Green Heart of the Highlands" - with high rainfall and volcanic soil, it is a lush piece of Australia. This is a very beautiful area with majestic views, local waterfalls, wonderful bush walks and great natural diversity. If you aren't into the great outdoors, there are excellent local cafes and restaurants (although be prepared for much earlier closing times than in the city) Great shopping close by in chic Bowral and historic Berrima, local cool climate vineyards, beautiful gardens and a wealth of talented primary producers and makers..... In short, the Southern Highlands has something to interest every taste in every season...
  • Such a beautiful location and the place was great, had everything we needed and more! Fabulous hosts, lots of local tips, couldn't recommend enough, we'll be back!

  • Well, where to begin......from driving thru the newzealandish mystic valleys, via the Jumberoo mountain road up the farm built in the clouds.......etched into thy very memory. If you are a romantic, this is your echo point to get reply from the silence. The great touch of modern neo noir art (reminding of William Blake n smwhr hidden was the surreal of Salvador Dali) , the necessaries for short stay, the cozy, homely feelings of "could be my own cabin of final retreat from bloody muddy life"........all were there. My host Steve, my new companion from the Order of the Last Magus, was so decent, not-a-bit nosy intruding private space, a real gentleman and a modern mystic to discuss from to ultra-dimensionals was my full tax refund benefit. I couldnt buy it, or pay for it, the great discussion we had for only one morning.............but hey thats my thing, if you want only the space to yourself, no one will take your single second from enjoying the romantic hideout from life

  • Traci & Dave's place is the perfect beachside escape. Easy to find, yet tucked away enough so that it is still private, & with a stunning view of Bombo beach for you to wake up to. Traci was kind enough to let us check in earlier, and was always prompt with any responses to questions we had. Their apartment itself was clean & nicely decorated. The bedding was comfortable and we were well stocked with chocs & biscuits. We initially booked to stay for one night, but after our first night decided to book another! Thanks T&D. We will be back again!

    Julia2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Don't nypass this. Perfect for 2. Lovely sea views and sounds of the sea. Perfectly spotless. Great location.

    Ann2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a true hidden gem! Traci has done a brilliant job by turning a small studio with a view into an outstanding, very cute, BnB. The bed is comfortable, amenities basic but very good, there are little touches that add charm and ultimately it is just a well presented, welcoming place to stay. We recommend it highly to anyone looking for an exceptional escape for a weekend or few days that is right on Bombo Beach at Kiama. Yes, it is beside a train track but the trains are rare and as they are electric there is virtually no noise at all. Sue, caught the train down from Sydney and got off at the little station at Bombo Beach. So handy! The studio is an $8 uber trip from the heart of Kiama and Traci's recommendations regards local restaurants were spot on. Above all else waking up to the sound of the sea, so close, is just just something else! It goes without saying we definitely, DEFINITELY be coming back!

    Douglas2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This Studio was the perfect getaway and just what I needed to relax. The host Traci is a gorgeous woman and was very helpful and kind ! The layout and style of this studio was absolutely beautiful, every detail was nailed all the way down to the cookies in the little cookie jar. I cannot express enough what an amazing job the owner has done to make this little apartment feel open and stylish. 110% recommend this studio if you are heading alone and need to relax or if you and a guest are looking for a getaway! (Beautiful beach view an easy beach access was also a bonus!) Jess x

Broughton Cottage is a private couples romantic retreat located in the beautiful Sunninghill region of Broughton Vale. Located only 6 minutes from the Berry Village shops.
Broughton Cottage is set on a small farm called Triskaideka, the home of a family with sheep, chickens, a huge vegetable patch, and cottage garden. Guests are welcome to wander around the property and enjoy it.
The cottage is situated just 5 minutes drive from the town of Berry. Here you can wander through this historic town and enjoy shopping and dining in multiple cafes and restaurants. Around Berry are a number of wineries you can visit. It’s not far to the local beaches or the famous white sandy beaches of Jervis Bay and Hyams beach are about an hour away. You can enjoy some beautiful walks to Drawing Room Rocks or the coastal walk from Kiama to Gerringong to name a few. Kiama blow hole is an attraction. If the southern highlands is your thing it’s also a lovely drive through Kangaroo Valley to Bowral. Bring your bikes if you love cycling as there are some great rides. John can give you some cycling routes if you’re unsure of where to cycle. Having said all that, we have had guests who have decided to not go out as they just adore the peace, tranquility and wonderful scenery from the cottage.
  • Everything was perfect! I booked the cottage for my partners birthday getaway and we were SO impressed. The amount of thought and detail that has gone into the design and functionality of the cottage is amazing! John and Yvonne have honestly thought of everything and Indy was the cherry on top! We will definitely be returning!

    Matthew2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is pure charm! It’s beautiful with everything you could need for a weekend away. The bath tub is a highlight with a spectacular view. Indy the border collie comes for visits on the front porch and is a kind and gentle dog, she adds character to the place! The extra touches in the kitchen were very appreciated such as fresh eggs from the farm and home made jam. The perfect place for a weekend away

    Natalie2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

    Justine2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing part of the world! Very peaceful and relaxing and some beautiful touches made by John and Yvonne to make you feel very welcome. Would recommend this spot to anyone!

    Ben2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • John and Yvonne were wonderful hosts and the property is just beautiful. Incredible outlook, special touches (homemade jam, eggs, milk, bread) and local advice, and morning visits from their sweet dog Indy. John helped us attend a wedding and also kept us in the loop and well advised during the bushfires in the south west. We highly recommend Broughton Cottage and John as a host and hope to return again in future.

    Emily2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Kate's place was a beautiful treehouse lookout over Kangaroo Valley and, for the earth-minded, they use collected rainwater that is filtered for use. Great! Scott met us and gave great food recommendations...and wonderful fresh baked homemade bread for breakfast. Simple touches made our stay amazing!

  • What an amazing weekend away! The house is newly renovated and the kitchen is outstanding and has everything you need. We loved the fireplace and the beautiful surrounding gardens. The kids loved the cows (one dancing cow) and the chickens. Definitely check out flat rock and the creek at the end of the road. It was just awesome scenery!! The house had lovely touches like heated tiles etc. Just a note for guests: the house itself has no reception, you need to go up the top of the hill or up the road a few hundred metres to get it but the owners (who are lovely) are next door if you need anything in case of emergency. We will definitely be back!

    Michelle2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great weekend away will definitely come back.

  • Fabulous holiday away, modern accomodation, well furnished with top of the range appliances. Great fire for the cold nights! Will come again so relaxing.

  • Beautiful scenery, quiet, relaxing, comfortable, spotless home. Lovely hosts

    Carol2019-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • The house is well equipped and has everything you would need. The house is very quiet, has a great outlook over the fields and the cows are in the field next door. The owner's house is right behind the accommodation, they are very friendly and happy to help. They gave us some great tips for exploring the area and walks near the property. The kitchen is well stocked, the gas range is great and has everything you would need. We used the main bedroom, the bed was very comfortable and there is an additional air con unit for heating/cooling. We didn't have a fire but the air con unit can easily heat the main living area. The check in for this property is 4pm, which was a bit late for us and we are normally used to a check in at 2pm for Airbnb properties. However, the check out is midday. It's a ten minute drive to Kangaroo Valley village, where you have to pick up and drop off the key. This property could easily accommodate 6 adults or 4 adults and two kids, for a great comfortable fun weekend.
