“And an art nouveau masterpiece that is home to the Musical Instrument Museum of Brussels (MIM). Rue Montagne de la Cour 2, 1000 BruxellesThis museum is totally worth a visit and one of the top things to do in Brussels for music lovers . On display here are truly unique instruments that are exquisite pieces of art in their own right (my faves are the ornately decorated pianos that are adorned with beautiful etchings and paintings of all kinds). Here you can explore more than 2,000 instruments, but the best you can also listen to them! After that you may feel a little hungry. A problem that is easy to fix since the MIM restaurant is located on the tenth floor of the building. Tip: The restaurant is accessible free! From this restaurant you have a breathtaking view of Brussels. Unfortunately, it is often overcrowded - but if you are lucky you can enjoy a delicious Sunday, brunch buffet here. Should it be too crowded the Kwint could be a very good alternative.”

“Horta Museum Rue Américaine 25, Brussels, Belgium, +32 2 543 04 09 The streets around Place du Châtelain are full of beautiful buildings celebrating Brussels’ obsession with architecture. Meander the area admiring the tall slim houses with their ornate ironwork, beautiful large windows, and charming period features. You just might fall in love with your future home. For true housing inspiration visit the Horta Museum, the ultimate example of Art Nouveau accommodation and a UNESCO World Heritage site, on Rue Américaine. Built by Belgian architect Victor Horta, the building, which was his workshop and family home for twenty years, is a veritable time portal to the 1890s. Prepare to marvel at Horta’s interplay of engineering and nature.”

“Sablon - is also the heart of the Antiquities Try to take also the small side streets - and discover the antique shops, right and left on the Sablon. In the side streets hide major galleries, Brussels is a center of European art trade. In the Rue de Minimes, for example, you will find ancient art at Harmakhis and classic sculptures at Desmet.”

“BAR BETON Rue Antoine Dansaert 114, 1000 Bruxelles Yes, you can guess three times why the bar is called Beton Bar Beton. Because of a concrete counter, behind which the service serves the best coffee (even with soymilk). In the morning, relaxed classical music is playing here and the mood is really great. It is especially nice here in the early evening, when the sun goes down and you get the last rays of sunshine.”
