Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

This double clotting farm dates back to the 17th century. A beautiful holiday home of more than 100m2 has recently been built in the front house behind the dart doors. All facilities are located on the ground floor. A spacious seating area overlooks the West Frisian dike, a cooking island, and a spacious bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower. A garden with terrace is provided. The sea is within cycling distance where the quietest beaches in the Netherlands are located.

The apartment is located in an authentic cabbage shed where the original details are still clearly visible. The living room, kitchen and bedroom can be found on the 1st floor which is accessible by means of a robust staircase. On the ground floor is the entrance, recently renovated bathroom and toilet.
