  • Visited the cottage with my other half. Sandie the host had been most helpful prior to arrival with great communication. The cottage is beautifully furnished, and very cosy. The local area even in winter is very picturesque, a summer visit must be even better. Lots of views to see, several places nearby serve food and drink and the local canals add to the atmosphere. Very much enjoyed our stay.

  • Fantastic cottage with so many lovely touches. Would definitely stay again

    Sarah2018-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Well wot can I say but WOW, what an absolute gem of a cottage, the pictures really don't do it justice, everything you could possibly want in a peaceful quaint village, everything about this cottage was amazing and Sandie the host was very quick to respond to any questions or queries we had, nothing was too much trouble for her, I would definitely recommend this cottage and if in the area again will not hesitate to book this cottage. Sandie really did provide everything we could possibly need and more which was very useful and needed after a long journey. The village is quaint and has everything you could possibly need.

    Viki2018-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • What can I say, I have to start with WOW! A beautiful cottage set in a lovely village, Sandie truly has her cottage perfect. Everything you could ever want in a self catering cottage was there and some!! The added extras just made the cottage outstanding! We had a wonderful stay and would love to go back sometime. Highly recommend booking this cottage! For our trip it was two friends sharing but as a romantic break it would be amazing!

Lovely to have more than just the basics on arrival including bread, milk, eggs and a little Christmas present! Great beds and bedding too. Nice place to walk from down to the canal, along to the pub, if you get the time.

A spacious room in a large barn conversion paddock building. Guests will have secure, off road parking in a quiet location. The barn conversion was once run as a Bed and Breakfast so the property is geered for guests. (There are 3 other rooms) There is Internet on site. Kitchen, Lounge and Dinning Room all shared. There are 3 Bathrooms in the property with one near to this room. Hosts have been on Airbnb for over 5 years and look forward to meeting new guests. We hope you enjoy your stay!
The building is a converted barn and is larger inside than it appears from outside. The house is in a quiet part of the Northamptonshire countryside but close enough to Northampton, Daventry or Rugby by way of the M1 and A5. Crick village is 1.5 miles away and has shops and pubs. Daventry town is 5 miles away. Northampton is 10 miles south. Rugby is 10 miles north. M1 is 1 mile from location.
Paddock Cottage is one of four properties on site. The location is peaceful and quiet. Property is surrounded by farmland and Park areas, but still close enough to the A5 and M1.

  • Fantastic cosy place with great hosts. Very tranquil, relaxing and so quite. Really loved staying there and will be back.

    Sonny2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • An excellent place to stay. A lovely venue, with darker skies and loads more stars than we ( as townies) usually see. The ability to come and go independently was a great freedom, the local pub was an excellent recommendation from our Host for food, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The make-your-own breakfast was cereal and/or toast with good quality ingredients, and suited us just fine. The room was lovely and warm, and the large shower- room and loo were spotless and stylish. The location was a rural delight yet very close to the M1/M6 junction so road transport links are excellent.

    Cathy2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had the very best time staying in this gorgeous place. Such a great location and very thoughtfully furnished room. You don’t want for anything while you stay as everything is covered. Thanks so much - we will be back!

Good food and atmosphere. We walked back in the rain, took us roughly 15 mins. We recommend to take a head torch, it all added to the fun.

    Iain2019-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lots provided in a small room. Bed was soft but there was the loveliness of having a patio to go out on with view of trees

    Georgie2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Nice cozy place to stay and great to be able to cook in the room and a roof terrace and Sky 😊

    Gethin2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • The room was very clean and decorated well. Everything you need is there, including a place to cook. Elaine was super helpful and great to talk to. The patio and view from the room is lovely! I definitely recommend having a car to get more out of the area. Leamington Spa and Kenilworth Castle is worth checking out. For those without a car, the grocery shopping options are sparse but you can take a bus to Sainsbury or head into Leamington to do some shopping. This place is a great, economical place to stay.

    Michelle2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great experience staying for 2 weeks at Elaine's place, she's a lovely host always helpful. Own kitchen area in the room and fab own terrace. Thank you again for having me :)

  • Elaine is a great host and will make you feel very welcome and comfortable. I loved my stay, the house is beautiful and everything you need in the room- as well as a peaceful terrace to relax on.

    Hattie2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Thoroughly recommend this property. Very clean. Everything there that one might reasonably expect. Host is very pleasant and helpful. Nice to have the external terrace, with seating, for when the sun shines of an evening !

    Lindsay2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Elaine is a great host . . super friendly, on hand if needed but totally respects your privacy and happy to sort out the smallest of issues. It's a nice, bright, quiet space with the added bonus of overlooking its own private, fully decked out roof terrace also frequented by the local Jackdaws, Collared Doves and Goldfinches. The south facing view is a mixed collection of trees from where a Green Woodpecker was heard. It's an ingeniously equipped room given the fact it's single including hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, ironing and fridge. There's more than enough storage space for one. Dunchurch is a great location to get around from. If your not going into Rugby or anywhere else, one of the two nearby pubs serves 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for between £20 - £30 depending on the cut. There's a huge Sainsbury's a few minutes drive away. Thanks very much Elaine. Best wishes x

Quiet, good sized room on first floor in a large barn conversion paddock building. Guests will have secure, off road parking in a quiet location. The barn conversion was once run as a Bed and Breakfast so the property is geered for guests. (There are 3 other rooms) There is Internet on site. Kitchen, Lounge and Dinning Room all shared. There are 3 Bathrooms in the property with one next door to this room. Hosts have been on Airbnb for over 5 years and look forward to meeting new guests.
The house is spacious and recently modernised. The location is quiet and rural, but Crick village with pubs and shops is 1.5 miles away. The room features a window over looking the acre long paddock with sheep and a pony. Guests will also be able to see their car from the room as the private drive is at the rear of the premises. Enjoy your stay!
Paddock Cottage is one of four properties on site. The location is peaceful and quiet. Property is surrounded by farmland and Park areas, but still close enough to the A5 and M1.

  • Great location, great place and a lovely friendly host. We met Sarah a few minutes after arriving and she made sure we had everything we needed. The place is a little tricky to find especially as we arrived after dark but this obviously can't be helped. I would recommend this little place for an over night stop or a few days if you're exploring the local area. 5 stars from me. Thanks Pip.

  • Lovely, clean and comfortable small space, ideal for a couple of nights at a reasonable price. The shower was excellent, and the bed and pillows super comfortable! Tasty light breakfast was left in the fridge. We really appreciated easy access to the unit and the excellent, safe off street parking. The family were around much of the time, but we felt comfortable just getting on with our plans. Sarah was super friendly and communication excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Our comfortable and peaceful double room has a full private en-suite bathroom and is in the quiet single storey extension on the back of our dormer bungalow. It has a king size bed, an off-street parking space and a separate entrance. Guests can come and go as they please, and are welcome to share the sunny deck with our family. It's right in the middle of our village, two minutes' walk from our Co-op and friendly pubs, and just a couple of minutes' drive from the M1, M6 and A5.
Guests have their own entrance, bathroom and parking space. Room facilities include a 32" TV, wi-fi, tea and coffee-making facilities, plates and cutlery, a small electric cool box and toaster. We put a pint of milk in the cool box on your arrival. You are welcome to buy light meals and snacks from our local Co-op (just a minute's walk away) and eat or store them in the room. We provide big bath towels (changed on request), shower gel & shampoo. If you would like fresh towels each day, please ask. If you're staying long-term, let me know how often you'd like your bedding changed and the room cleaned.
I am happy to discuss discounted rates with guests who are working in the area and looking for a long-term regular booking for three or more days a week. Our village is surrounded by wonderful country walks - our newly planted Jubilee Wood, the Jurassic Way and the towpath of the peaceful Leicester branch of the Grand Union canal, for instance. Stratford-on-Avon and historic Warwick Castle are just 35 minutes' drive away. A 40-minute train trip into the busy city of Birmingham for some fabulous shopping is easy from nearby Rugby station - if we can, we'll be happy to give you a lift. The area has lots of lovely country pubs serving good food. This is a very quiet village and our house stands right in the heart of it.

  • I was in the area for a wedding and this cottage looked ideal for a little weekend getaway. Before I arrived, Steve provided all the information I needed for my stay and check in, so it was super easy upon arrival to get settled in. The views from the kitchen and living area were amazing and we absolutely loved the traditional decor in the cottage - it was very cosy and homely. We cooked all of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen and the entire cottage and utensils were very clean. The village is very picturesque and we enjoyed a walk down to the canal from the cottage. Would highly recommend a stay here, great value for money 👍

Steve and his team make sure everything is perfect and get back to you on any enquiries you might have. Close to leam, Warwick and lots of lovely local pubs and walks to be enjoyed. The beds are extremely comfortable, the linen smells divine, you really feel at home - with a luxurious little touch to boot. Can't recommend enough!

Charming one-bedroom character cottage built in 1600 and situated in the beautiful Warwickshire village of Napton-on-the-Hill. An ideal base to take in the stunning local countryside, enjoy a leisurely lunch by the canal side, or explore the nearby historic towns of Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon. A perfect little haven for a relaxing break.
The historic 17th century cottage has a private access. The entrance to the property leads into the cosy character lounge and upstairs you will find a spacious double bedroom with en- suite (featuring a bath, so bubble bath is a must!) Although there is no kitchen in the cottage; you will find a kettle, toaster, microwave (upon request) and fridge (for that all-important bottle of chilled wine) and we also provide tea, coffee and milk so you can enjoy a well-deserved cuppa after your journey. There are excellent local pubs within walking distance for a spot of dinner and the fabulous local shop has a café with delicious home-made produce, including take-away dinners. There is no off-road parking but street parking is accessible adjacent to the property.
The Folly Inn, set on the bank of the Oxford Canal, and The King’s Head are our two local pubs that serve food, and both are within a 10-minute walk of the cottage. Aside from the stunning countryside, the village also boasts a fishery, a reservoir, and even has its own cidery which use apples from unsprayed orchards. You can visit the cidery and learn how the cider is made, taste at least 6 different ciders and pick your favourites from the shop to take away. You can pre book tours and tastings and they also run workshops throughout the year. Our fabulous local family owned village shop, post office and café is only a 3-minute walk away and here you will find everyday essentials plus a whole lot more! Bursting with local produce, the kitchen serves up fresh homemade sweet and savoury food, barista fresh coffee, and the deli fridge will certainly tempt you!
  • The cottage is set in a beautiful, scenic area with loads of walks available. Inside is homely and comfortable. Helen is a fantastic host, very attentive, easy to communicate with and friendly. The extra touches around the cottage and water/tea tray shows helen puts a lit of effort to ensure your stay is good. I would recommend the cottage and area for a well deserved relaxing break.

    Emily2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is beautiful, full of character and finished really well and to a high standard. • What a little jewel we have found. We spent our anniversary weekend in this lovely warm cosy cottage where everything had been thought of by our lovely host Helen. She even left us an anniversary card and a bottle of fizz to celebrate. Unfortunately Storm Ciara ordered the weather so we will definitely going back to this lovely home from home cottage so that we can explore the local area. Thank you Helen for sharing this lovely little gem with us. See you in May. X

Myer Bridge Farm Cottage is situated on the A425, one mile out of the market town of Southam. Myer Bridge Farm Cottage is a detached two-bedroom cottage that has recently been renovated and refurbished to a very high standard. The Cottage sits immediately adjacent to the Farm House, and is part of a small 40 acre farm with cattle, sheep & poultry. We are on an A road and there is traffic noise. As we are a farm, there are animal noises too.
  • A lovely cosy cottage, which was sparkling clean. Excellent place to just chill out.

  • Great place good value

    Raymond2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • A really special place. Annette stays in the detached house next door. She met us on arrival and was very pleasent. She insisted we just popped next door for anything at all. We were delighted with the cottage and didnt see her for the rest of our stay. Although Annette says there may be traffic and farm noises we didnt hear anything. It was possible to hear cars travel by when first waking but they certainly weren't loud enough to effect sleep. We couldnt hear anything at any other point. We did visit in February therefore didnt use the garden. The sofas were exceptionally comfortable and relaxing. The rainforest shower is cleverly positioned high enough to be a proper rainforest shower. The photo of the bathroom gives the impression that it's a stretched photo and only a corner shower but it really is that spacious. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. I offered to walk along the drive every morning and night to open the gate. It was lovely watching the sheep and chickens in the morning and the bright stars every evening. We cant wait to stay there again when next working in the area.

    Kirsty2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Modern, clean and stylish home from home. Super cosy with a fully fitted kitchen, large lounge area and really comfy beds. Annette was a great host and I can't recommend enough. One of the very best airbnb places I have stayed in.

  • This cottage was one of the best stays I have stayed at. The location is fabulous and very easy to access with Annette providing detailed instructions on how to get inside. Annette greeted us when we arrived after I we were a bit delayed than expected. The kitchen was fully functional and had all the amenities you required across the entire house. The bathroom was cosy and shower was great, A Spare room is also included if you require one. The log burner is great and we made full use of it. Thank you Annette for a wonderful stay. Annette even gave two free beers in the fridge and some milk which was a great surprise!

Annette is a great host and so attentive she was very quick to respond to us if we needed something. It's in such a lovely area and we had a lovely time exploring the nearby villages and towns. We can't wait to book again! Highly recommend staying here.

  • What a great find you couldn't ask for any more, the house is out in the countryside so it's quiet and peaceful on a night but just a couple of miles from the m1 so commuting to work is easy, it's a lovely clean house with very comfortable beds and a great bathroom with a nice big bath and shower, Richard and chloe are really nice and know the area well should you need a takeaway or anything so if you're working away and you want a nice quiet place to stay where you can get back from work have a hot bath and a bit crack with some nice people and a good night's sleep in a comfy bed you've found it!

The Braunston Windmill stands 89ft tall and next to the church , it can be seen on your journey to the village standing proud. It sleeps six people in three king rooms . It has its own hot tub with BBQ and seating area . The Windmill has all the modern amenities you could want . It has six floors and 68 stairs leading up to the double floored top room which is amazing with views over the church and country side
The Windmill is a very unique building still retaining its charm but with an ultra modern interior , the feeling from the round rooms is of peace and serenity .
Braunston is a vibrant village with 4 pubs , a village shop selling everything , a butchers , a tea shop , fish and chip shop ,set on the canal net work of the Grand Union and oxford . Loads of interesting walks and the famous Braunston Marina to wander around and enjoy the colourful boats . You really don't need a car as everything is on the doorstep . Braunston is situated in the middle of the country with easy access from major motorways .30 mins drive from Silverstone Circuit.

  • Had a wonderful stay at Braunston Mill. The Mill was spotlessly clean on our arrival, as early as we were. Nice quiet village location with local shops just a few minutes walk away. Sandie was a great host supplying eggs, milk and bread and all the things needed that we'd forgotten, and offering all kinds of advice for things to do and where to go. Really, words could not adequately describe what it was like to stay in the Mill - it is literally the most characterful place I am likely to holiday in - the old wooden beams supporting the floors as you go up through the Mill, everything being a window into this magical building's past. All topped off with all the modern conveniences you would ever need!

My home is a converted barn with lots of character and charm. I have an acre of land where my two naughty ponies live to the rear of the property. I also have two dogs and one cat. The barn is in a quiet country village, with one pub that offers food from Tuesday through to Saturday. The location of the village is about 8 miles from Leamington Spa and 6 miles from Rugby where there are lots of delicious restaurants and fun shopping.
My home is quiet and secluded area and has a large patio with a water feature at the back and two smaller patios around the side of the house. Beyond the garden is a paddock menage and stables where my two ponies live. If you enjoy walking there are plenty of nice walks to go on around the village.
Although the village is peaceful, tranquille and relaxing. It is only a few miles from major motorways so you have the best of both worlds. The village has one church called St Nicholas and one pub called the Friendly Inn. There are nice country walks that I can give you details of. In all if you are looking for somewhere less busy and a place to settle back this is the place for you.
  • Great little stat, room as per images. Very welcoming, beautiful home and for the price couldn't complain at all about the room/facilities at all.

We have a spacious, warm and friendly family home and offer you a large light and airy double room on the second floor (accessed by two flights of stairs), providing a quiet and private space to relax. For guests looking to book two rooms we have another double room with en-suite bathroom on the same floor, offering a substantial and private space. Our family includes two crazy cocker spaniels and a somewhat more elusive cat. Please note none of the animals have access to the bedrooms.
To make your stay more relaxing we provide tea and coffee making facilities in your room along with towels and a range of toiletries.
Our home is located on a quiet residential area close to countryside and the grand union canal, all within five to ten minute walk. We are within a ten minute walk of a [Tesco Express) shop, two pubs and a takeaway. The town centre is a 20-30 minute walk or a five minute drive. There is a selection of eating places which also provide a take away service and some offer a free delivery service. If you don't mind driving a bit further there are a number of excellent pub-restaurants all within twenty minutes drive. Please ask if you would like some recommendations.

  • Excellent hosts! Very friendly and always willing to accommodate and assist you with your needs. They really went above and beyond for my husband. If you're in the area, do yourself a favour and stay with Simon and Joanna. :)
