Park
“A beautiful headland with far reaching views across to Bournemouth, back to Mudeford and the Isle of Wight on a clear day. You can do a fantastic looped walk up and over the headland, down onto the beach where the famous beach huts are and then back through the woodland. There is a land train which you can take (kids love) and this lower path is bike and scooter friendly (you cannot bike over the headland as it is a nature reserve). There is a fascinating Visitor Centre and shop where you can find out more information about the history of this area and nature. A cafe and public toilets are situated at the car park and then also down on the beach so it makes for a very family friendly day out! ”

Nature
“Beautiful area and nature reserve with a view of the beach and sea on one side and Christchurch harbour on the other. There are large fields, a walk up the head itself. There is a cafe/restaurant on the spit beach and also another cafe at the car park. The visitor centre has a small garden outside and cameras showing nesting birds (great place to fly a kite - it's always windy!)”
