Very pleasant and spacious apartment, absolutely calm: we felt at home at once. The centre of Basel is easily and quickly reached with the tram.

Anja is a really helpful person who keeps in mind subtle details to make your stay convenient. She was very prompt in her response to our queries and agreed to make changes in our reservation at a later date as few more of our friends decided to join. She provided detailed and clear instructions on how to reach house, use amenities like wifi etc. She was accommodating in terms of check in and out timings. To say she is a perfect host would be completely justified to describe her.

Sehr saubere Wohung, gut geeignet für 1-3 Personen. Es gibt ein 2er Bett sowie ein ausziehbares Sofa sowie eine Küche und ein Bad. Stefan war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir würden sofort wieder Buchen.

Bruno's place was lovely and he is an amazing and very helpful person. We got very late to reach his home but he constantly communicated with us. Above everything, one of us lost her passport and money purse at the tram station. It was Bruno who helped us to find it and never for once did he get irritated. We really enjoyed our stay at his place. It is well maintained accommodation equipped with everything needed. Bruno is a really great host and made us feel home. We would like stay at his place every time we visit Basel.

Bruno is super funny and relaxed. We were able to check earlier than expected because he has everything ready yet quickly, that was really great. Everything totally neat and clean, the beds super comfortable. Even with the late coming home, it was not an issue negotiable. Always my pleasure! Value for money absolutely great.

Lucy is a great host. She's very friendly and pleasant to talk to. She is also very accommodating with check-in/check-out times. I arrived at night and had trouble finding her place. I called her and she patiently described how I could find the place. During my stay, she gave me a ride into town twice. The place itself was very nice on the inside and the bed was comfortable. One thing that I should mention, though, is that there is some construction going on on the outside of the building and there was noise from this at 7am. There was a lot of scaffolding all around the building, so it seems like a big project. But I would imagine that the construction won't last forever and this information will be irrelevant to someone reading this review months from now.

Lucy was very welcoming, she picked us up from train station with her car so we did not have to walk with our luggage. It was very kind of her. She is a lovely, friendly person and we felt at home. Our room did not have the black forest view as advertised however it was not important. She had all facilities available at home. 24 hours hot water, good heating, a kitchen with all utensils etc. The house was at a very nice neighbourhood. It was close to SBB train station so very close to city transportation. Overall you get what you pay for..

Lulu is an excellent host. She came to pick us up when we couldn't reach to the place. She directed us to the must see places around. Highly recommend her.

The house was relatively easy to find and a short 15 minute walk from the main station. Lucy is a very good host and room was ready for me when I got there. The room has a nice view of the black forest region and the city below. I was only in Basel for the night and didn't have time to socialize but I had very pleasant stay.

I had a very brief stay at Selina's place, however I'm really glad I did. It's conveniently located near the train station (about 5 minutes on foot) in a quiet, residential part of town. The flat is small but cozy, and everything is spotless. The host was always welcoming and helpful, and made the check-in/out frictionless. There is also a list of common-sense rules, which I always appreciate (shows you the care put into the apartment). Overall, I would definitely recommend Selina's offer.

The family made us welcome by appearing in full force with smiling faces and speaking English on contact but soon switched to German with us and some French for fun. I learned from Mira that her dad also speaks Italian (and who knows what else he knows...he is also a recognized beekeeper and environmentalist!)

I loved staying at Henry's place. Henry is a great host, I felt as I was staying with a long time friend. The place is very comfortable. You often hear birds singing. The connection to the city centre, airport and other points is excellent.

Henry is a very nice courteous hosts and we have very good talk. Everything is as it should be. He even has an extra padded the refrigerator with vegetarian food for me :-) On my next stay in Basel I will certainly quartered with him again.

We had a great stay at My's. The apartment is very confortable, clean and well equipped. The location is very practical if you need to use the central station and the street is as quiet as it gets. Everything you need for daily life is within a 5 minutes walk. My was very kind and practical, we felt very welcome.

My-Loan is such a lovely person. She made me feel welcome immediately, gave me a great tour through the flat and even helped me planning my commute for the next day to the training I was in Basel for. The flat has everything you need, a well equipped kitchen for those like me who like to prepare their own food, a super comfortable bed and even clean towels. It's very clean, very close to the centre, within a stone's throw of the central station and at the same time nice and quiet for a good night's sleep.

The flat of My-Loan is well located from SBB station (15 min walk) in a quiet and green place. The flat is quite large, perfect for 2 people, nice, clean and convenient. You have a dish washing machine, but not a laundry washing machine.

We had a very good stay in nicely furnished housing flowered balcony Macarena, which was available by post to answer all our questions. The accommodation is well equipped and well maintained, it lacks nothing. It is located close to the railway station and a supermarket (Coop) where it is possible to make purchases rather late during the week and during the day on Sunday. The area is well connected (tram and bus) and as quiet as the rest of the city, which is only 15 minutes walk. We are delighted to have preferred it a little less central housing but much cheaper than most deals on Basel.

The apartment and the hosts were beyond the expectations! Warm welcoming, providing all the necessities that you would and wouldn't expect! We've been renting quite few apartments via Airbnb and this is the top one! Fully renovated, stylish, cozy, equipped with all the appliances, dishes, soaps, etc. It is just great to arrive there and feel at home and being welcomed by a lovely host, fruit basket and some other treats. Julien was very communicative and helpful during the booking and before our arrival and during our stay. The location is central and very convenient, easy accessed from the airport, close proximity to the centre, restaurants, markets, etc. We definitely recommend this place and the hosts.

Ruth and Sophie's apartment was fantastic! One block from a little grocery store, and 5 minutes from the Hbf. The apt was clean, quiet, and exactly as described. Sitting on the balcony was a perfect finish for the day. Excellent!

5 to 10-minute walk on the south side of the station, near the zoo, it is a peaceful and cozy base camp for people who are traveling on foot or by public transport in all directions like.

Schöne geräumige Wohnung nahe am Bahnhof. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und die Schlüsselübergabe ist sehr unkompliziert. Das Nötigste ist vorhanden in der Wohnung. Vor allem für Kurzaufenthalte sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man mit der Bahn unterwegs ist.

We stayed at Roland's villa during our weekend in Basel. The villa is very clean and beautifully designed with historical atmosphere. The room is spacious and the bed comfortable. Proximity of bus and train stops made it very convenient for us to explore Basel. Moreover, Roland was very helpful and ensured we enjoyed our weekend. We really recommend his villa if you're staying in Basel!

We were a group of four people and we stayed for two nights. The apartment is very comfortable, clean, charming and spacious. The rooms and beds are comfortable, the showers are great, the kitchen is well-equipped, it has a beautiful terrace, and a fast wifi connection. It's very easy to access from Basel city centre. Roland was a very helpful and considerate host.
