Getting around Glasgow is easy from here, great central location for all amenities with great transport links to City Centre, Emirates, Hydro and SECC

    A large, bright room with a double bed (memory foam mattress topper), seating area with electric fire, 32'' LCD TV with both Netflix/Amazon Prime access and tea and coffee-making facilities. The room is situated in an old red sandstone house, built in 1894.
    A large, comfortable room, guests in the past have enjoyed spending time here. The room is decorated in a vintage style with some heirloom furniture and pictures. We can add a fourth single bed to the room should you require it. There is a good-sized wardrobe and drawers for you to use during your visit - and an electric fire to keep you warm on colder nights. There is a kettle and tea / coffee / water set up for your arrival too, if you like any particular kinds of tea, let me know and we can make sure we have it for you.
    Lovely neighbours, lots of green spaces nearby, great transport links and local shops / supermarket nearby with everything you need. There's also a local pub that serves reasonably priced food (two meals for £8) and has live music/sport etc. throughout the week.
  • We loved our stay. Very ideal location for us as we was just passing through to Inverness and was just a few mins detour of the motorway. We all managed to get a really good night's sleep. The beds were super comfy. Lots of choice for breakfast and the hosts were very welcoming. The house is beautiful and was immaculate. Very spacious room. Thank you so much x

    We have an excellent choice of food opportunities on the Main Street. Including take-aways, restaurants and supermarkets. The local launderette is just along the road. Uddingston Station is a few minutes walk away. At The Douglas you'll find a clean, comfortable apartment for your use and a warm welcome.
    There is a wide choice of excellent restaurants, bars, coffee shops and other food outlets, including supermarkets and select independent stores on our doorstep. Bothwell Castle Golf Course and other sports facilities are near by as well as Bothwell Castle, David Livingstone Centre and the Clyde walkway. Hamilton Park Racecourse and Strathclyde Park, with its internationally renowned watersports area, are also convenient. We are under 15 minutes easy drive from Tollcross International Swimming Centre.

    The house is down a private road which it's condition isn't great so drive slow. Some of the best restaurants pubs and shops in hamilton and transport are all within a short walking distance Anything you need is less than 10 min walk I also have a large garage should you want to keep your motorcycle for trips up the North of Scotland. I have two dogs, there friendly but bare in mind it's a property with pets. Great cheap accommodation in the centre of hamilton.
    The room has been freshly decorated with new furniture, there is a TV with now TV and sky entertainment package,so you can watch Netflix etc.
    4 houses down a private road it's very safe and very quiet!

Bathroom includes shower/bath, gel/shampoo/conditioner, razors can be provided upon request.
    We are opening up our guest room for rent whilst we still live in the property. We have been told our place is like a 'miniature zoo'. This is a PET FRIENDLY household, we have many pets here. Interaction with them is optional. Included are our pets below. 2 Cats - They loosely wander around inside and out at their leisure 6 ferrets - They stay in their own specific room and are not let out unless requested 1 snake - The snake lives in a large secured vivarium in the guest room you will be sleeping in. You may handle the snake if you ask us! They're very friendly! Fish tank - In the kitchen (betta fish and dwarf frogs) We have no problems with guests wanting to interact with our animals, as long as they ask first!
    Albion rovers football stadium is a 2 minute walk, large retail parks are only a 10 minute walk away. Lots of green space around for walking dogs.

  • I honestly don't know how to start this qualification. To say that Superhost is really lacking to define the hosting and the hosts is perhaps the most accurate. The house is dreamy, with very good communication with the center of Glasow through a train station that is a few blocks from the house, which is located in a quiet neighborhood of the city. With a complete shopping center a few meters from it where you can find what you need, and a shopping and supermarket minutes walk. But here I will describe the best by far from this accommodation that are your hosts. Liz and Nigel are by far the best hosts I've had in all my experiences with Airbnb (which are many). Friendly, container, helpful, intelligent and always willing to give you a hand with what you need; the Suerhosts category does not define them in 10% of what they really are. They have treated us as if we were family and that is priceless. I highly recommend this accommodation for those who want to spend a pleasant stay in the beautiful city of Glasgow.

  • Although we spent only one night we enjoyed it. Honore responded quickly to our request ( less than 30 min) despite the fact it was quite late in the evening. The place was clean and quite, we had a good night sleep, her house is less than 5 min drive from the motorway which was great for us because the following day we drove further north. We really enjoyed the chat we had in the morning, Honore was so warm and friendly, definitely will stay again at her place next time when we are in Scotland.

  • Honore is one of life’s wonderful people. She is so warm and friendly. The room was large with a very comfortable double bed. Bathroom was great - lovely shower. I felt very privileged that I was invited to have a Christmas drink with some of her family. They were all lovely and we had a great craic! The house is very handy for the motorway so it was only a few minutes before I continued my southward journey! I’d really like to stay over again when I visit my youngest son in the new year! What greater compliment can I give than that?!! Thanks Honore for turning a stopover into a great experience xx

Tollcross leisure swimming centre is less than 1/2 mile away, Celtic park is 1.6 mile away, Emirates Arena is 1.6 mile away. City Centre is 3 mile away. We are close to major roads M8 M74 M80- to Glasgow Stirling Edinburgh. Bus stop is 5 minute walk, Carmyle train station within a 10 minute walk, Glasgow taxi is quick n easy to get around.
    We have plenty of space for cars/vans if required & easy access to main motorways (perfect for workers).     A comfortable double room with real double bed in a luxurious two bedroomed flat. This property is unsuitable for mobility impaired people as we're on the second floor. You are welcome to share our living room although you have your own tv in the room. Exclusive use of the bathroom as we use our en-suite. You can also use the kitchen. Cereals and toast included as are tea & coffee. Full cooked breakfast available at extra charge. Excellent transport links to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
    This is a comfortable double room with tv and tea & coffee making facilities in your room. The guest bathroom is along a short hallway and is kept exclusively for guests. You can use the kitchen for preparing and cooking meals within reason. The neighbourhood is very quiet and there is free off road parking. At a reasonable cost we can sometimes collect from Glasgow and Edinburgh airports and can also take you to the airports should you wish to leave your car at our place whilst away. It works out considerably cheaper than parking at the airport.

  • Sharing the apartment with the lovely and easy-going hosts, you get great views and a very clean, pleasant bedroom and bathroom, plus all you need for a decent breakfast, with an option to pay for a cooked breakfast. We enjoyed chatting with Danny and Ruth but they respect your space and you can be quiet if that is your preference. Plenty of parking in the area next door to the flats. Quite near the motorway, so a good stop if you’re driving a long distance. Can hop on a train to visit central Glasgow, so that’s another plus. The local area seems pleasant. You can walk into town and there is a modern swimming pool very close by.

Large 46" TV in the lounge, Bose bluetooth speaker, 42" TV in the bedroom... Local shops nearby for essentials & a 24hr Tesco is just a few minutes drive away for a bigger shop. The street itself is very quiet
    The town itself is quite quiet with a few places to eat and drink. The location of the flat allows you to easily get to Motherwell, Hamilton, Bothwell, etc either by driving or by the near by train station. There are trains running into Glasgow every 20 minutes or so, all throughout the day until very late in the evening.
  • The pictures really don't do the place justice. It's a modern, spacoius flat in a really quiet area perfect for one or two people. Everything you'd need is in the flat including a great coffee machine and probably the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. Keith is also a great host, super quick to reply and answer any questions I had. I'll be back!

Being in Motherwell centre it had has access to local amenities, leisure facilities including the Aquatec Complex, Pure Gym and local education facilities. Strathclyde Country park and North Lanarkshire Civic Centre and Theatre are all close by.

  • We stayed in Sue’s brilliant apartment for nearly 3 weeks. We had to leave our own house due to water damage under our bath but the apartment was a haven for us to escape to. We had to extend our stay three times due to works overrunning, Sue couldn’t be more helpful in making our stay relaxed. Apartment was very comfortable with everything you could want, lovely bathroom with fantastic shower. Area very quiet and very close to all amenities. Less than a minute walk to local restaurants. We would certainly stay there again and have no issues in recommending this apartment. Fantastic host, Fantastic place.

    This is a lovely one bedroom flat which has been recently refurbished. New kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable furnished lounge with two recliners, sofa, 55" TV and a small dining table for 2. The bedroom has a double bed. Both rooms have new double glazed windows and face out to field and woods even though it's just a short distance from the main road it feels like you're out of the hustle and bustle. Parking is included and it is very convenient for the motorway.
    This newly decorated ground floor flat is shiny and new with lovely quiet views over the field where quite often you can spot deer and an occasional fox. At the end of the road and adjoins Strathclyde Park Golf Centre and the Hamilton Racecourse. Lovely and quiet with easy access to shops and motorways.

  • Very nice new build! The room is just big enough for a double bed and the hosts are wonderful. The only thing I will mention is that there is no blind on the bedroom window so sunlight may come in during the nights in summer months. However, this wasn’t an issue for me as I stayed in winter and I’m sure by summer the hosts will have fixed this minor issue!!

  • Jean and Alain are tremendous hosts. We were warmly welcomed, given the guided tour and a wee bonus of milk and shortbread to help us on our way. The apartment itself was a revelation. The pictures don't capture the size, it's quite huge. Nothing has been done on a budget, this is a real high end place. Beds are very comfortable, bed linen looks and feels expensive. We slept like babies. Large sofas, also very comfortable. Large TV, excellent fully equipped kitchen all topped off by some top notch decor. Location was ideal for us, short walk away from 2 train stations in a really smart part of the town. No road noise at all in the apartment. Jean and Alain have set the new standard here, excellence on every level. Thanks for having us.

The apartment is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated throughout with lots of nice touches in each room. The beds were very comfortable, we slept so well! Lovely towels were provided and the kitchen was perfectly kitted out with everything you could need too. Communication was excellent, we arrived earlier than scheduled but Jean accommodated us without any problems. The location was good; only a short drive to Glasgow, yet the property itself is on a quiet road so a good nights sleep was had. Parking is on the road outside, not designated, though this wasnt a problem as we always found a space free. The place itself is modern, clean and well equipped. Communication with Alexander and Jo was very easy, and they were always quick to respond. Would highly reccomend staying here!
