A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house. It has a 3/4 bath (shower). The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis covered with roses and grape vines set in an English Garden. Also, see our equally nice "Victorian in the Heart of Ballard" rental: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928
A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house with separate access and a 3/4 (meaning shower but no bathtub) bathroom. The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis on the south side covered with roses, grape vines, and wisteria and is surrounded by an English Garden. The pictures posted should give you the right idea. (Alternative accommodation: We also have a really lovely rental space in the main house. See: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928 ) The cottage: there is a microwave, a small fridge, and an electric kettle for making coffee or tea. It offers considerable privacy if that is desired. The bed is queen-sized. Extra high-speed WiFi is also provided along with cable TV, including all of the premium channels. It is also possible to close some giant wood-paneled pocket doors if you want to divide the studio into a bedroom and sitting room, if case someone wants to sleep and someone else does not. The cottage is used as a studio by Liz (who is the English gardener) when it is not being used as a guest house. So there is a lot of (really excellent) art, mostly studies in the human form, on the walls and shelves. (If you would like a cast of one of the statues, talk to Liz.) The Ballard Neighborhood is a great place to visit: *10 minute walk to downtown Ballard with fabulous bars and restaurants, great Sunday farmers market, nice three-screen cinema, and much more. *5 minute walk to the Ballard Locks, where ships enter and exit Puget Sound from Seattle waterways. *10 minute drive to downtown Seattle. Buses also run regularly downtown from close by - either to downtown Seattle or to the University District and elsewhere. Evenings are very quiet here and the air quality is unusually good for a city. We get a fresh sea breeze off of Puget Sound in the early evening. Guests find the cottage a calming and refreshing refuge from the bustle of the city.
Ballard is a fantastic destination neighborhood for restaurants and bars and music. We are an easy walk (5-10 minutes) from downtown Ballard. Great breakfast places even closer.
  • I enjoyed drinking tea next to the window each morning and having the most comfortable night’s sleep! Perfect place for us and felt like home!

  • Would highly recommend this location to anybody! The cottage is tucked away behind the house and very comfortable with beautiful art all over. Such a good deal that exceeded my expectations.

  • Quiet, cozy and inspiring place. Good access from the heart of Seattle in 30 minutes by bus. Without a kitchen, I recommend the place for a short stay.

  • A wonderful spot in Ballard, with no shortage of character.

  • We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Brad & Liz's place. It's a cute cabin, and it's fun sleeping in a space full of fabulous art. The location couldn't have been better for our event in Ballard (and for Ballard, in general). Check-in and check-out was super easy, and street parking was convenient/available.

    Nancy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is wonderful- great location, comfy bed, cool art all over, and Brad / Liz are amazing hosts! Thanks for the hospitality- I would definitely return!!

  • This place is a cozy artist studio behind the main house. Plenty of space for 1 or 2 people and very quiet and private. I was there for an event in Ballard so for me the location was perfect; just a few block walk.

    David2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely space! It’s essentially a spacious studio, but plenty of space. Clean, comfortable, safe, and relatively quiet. Loved the thoughtfulness off the restaurant menu book, all the different books and guided about Seattle, not the touristy stuff but just interesting finds that people have collected. The space has lots of light, heated bathroom floors, heated towel rack, and the bed is probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. I spent my days there hiking and visited Predators of the Heart (highly recommend), so it was a great space to come home to and chill.

    Jen2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Charming, quiet, price, and peaceful. Great escape.

    Michael2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Erik’s place and clean and stylish. A little studio, but feels bigger with tall ceilings, lots of windows and Erik’s thoughtful use of the space. Great location - safe, quiet, close to everything. Only issue we experienced was spotty WiFi — Erik was very responsive and helped us troubleshoot, but the WiFi was still a little unreliable with several “dead zones” in the space. Doesn’t look like this had been a major issue in the past, so might just be a glitch ran into. Not a dealbreaker - Just did some work in a local cafe instead off the Airbnb. There is a walled off garden space surrounding the Airbnb and it is beautiful, quiet and calm. Loved it! Erik was very friendly and gave us some great local tips since we are moving to the area soon. Very pleasant experience, good value for the money paid. ☺️

    Danielle2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Erik’s place was great! Very clean and welcoming. Close walking distance to cool restaurants and sights in the city. Erik was very responsive and helpful!

  • This cottage was by far greater than what I had expected! My husband and I first time to Seattle, I was obsessed with our little cottage! From the cute decorations , the little fireplace and a huge book collection! It was so quaint and cozy! The neighborhood was amazing, we took a walk every morning! Such a Perfect spot, we walked everywhere for a bit to eat of a fresh cup of coffee! Highly recommend this cottage!! Enjoyed our stay so much! Erik was a great host, so friendly and personable! He also had great recommendations for everything!

    Tarrah2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Having a off-road parking spot is a big deal in crowded Seattle. This cottage is a perfect spot for one or two people. The neighborhood is very quiet but you can hear airplanes flying over. I have sensitive hearing that keeps me awake so I always travel with wax air plugs this did the trick....we will stay here again

    Caroline2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Erik’s place is in a wonderful neighborhood. His cottage is very thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

  • If you're going to Seattle and this place is available, book it fast! Great location, clean, comes with all the amenities you'd need and Regina and Rhys are wonderful host, providing tips on local places to check out. They didn't hesitate to make sure I had everything I needed and that my stay was excellent. 10/10...would recommend! Overall excellent value!

  • The Urban cabin was perfect. Cozy, charming with use of hot tub and yoga studio. Quiet, walkable neighbourhood with plenty of on street parking. Regina’s suggestions for things to do locally were great!! Irwin’s bakery was an awesome gathering place just a short walk from the cabin. 45th St offered lots of dining choices. Our very favourite was the Urban Saloon. Good pub food and bartender Aaron was a wealth of tourist, brewery and sushi information. Thanks Regina. We would happily stay with you again.

It was in the perfect location because it was close enough to all the places we wanted to go in Seattle but just far enough that noise and parking were never an issue. They left some great little personal touches to greet us. Will definitely be back again, thanks Bev & Grant!

Our Little House is easy walking distance from some of Seattle's best coffee, restaurants, markets and retail stores. The house, formerly a garage, was completely renovated in 2013. It sits behind our main house and includes shared access to a courtyard, outdoor seating and a BBQ grill.
When Benjamin was 9, he vacationed with his family in a loft style cabin. His love of lofts grew from there. Originally built as a guest house for family and friends and used as an occasional home office, we decided to open it up to travelers who want to visit Seattle and in particular our community of Ballard. The house is 363 square feet and contains a sleeping loft accessed by a ship style ladder. Guests access the house through a separate gate at the end of our driveway, which opens into the courtyard. The house is quiet and comfortable complete with a kitchen, small fridge, living area and bathroom. The queen sized bed is new as of September 2016.
Ballard is a popular Seattle neighborhood with a rich Scandinavian heritage and history as a "sleepy fishing village." Ballard isn't sleepy anymore. Our neighborhood is hopping with retail, nightlife and great restaurants. Independent shops including two record and CD stores, an independent bookstore and many non-chain restaurants and retail stores. We have easy access to the Metro bus just one block away from our place. A 15 - 20 minute ride by car or bus puts you downtown near the WA state ferries, Pike's market, the Space Needle and Seattle Center. Golden Gardens (one of our favs) is two miles away and has a beach including views of the Olympic mountains and the Puget Sound. Our Airbnb guidebook has recommendations for many of our top places. If you are looking for something not covered in the guidebook, let us know and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
  • Adorable space in a great location! Parking was easy. Great coffee shops near by. Ben and Alyson were very helpful.

  • A beautiful and cozy tiny home. It was perfect for our couple getaway. The location was perfect for all the tourist attractions. Everything was clean and so thought out.

    Anita2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Benjamin and Alyson’s home was the perfect weekend getaway spot. The tiny home was stylish and spacious and the neighborhood was fun and welcoming!

    Chelsea2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay in a great location with an awesome host. You must try the local fresh bakery a couple blocks away - yum

    Kate2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ben and Alyson are wonderful hosts. Responsive and helpful, they thought of EVERYTHING, so many small details to make visitors feel at home in their space. The little house is GORGEOUS, stylish and immaculately clean. They did a great job covering everything a visitor may want to know in their well organized binder and when we did have a question, they answered right away. When the weather shifted, we found things we might need left for us outside the door. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and look forward to returning.

    Colleen2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • What a cool fun space. You climb up a steep stair case / ladder to a lofted bedroom. Fun for a young man like me or a young couple.

    Burke2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend! Ballard is unquote and charming area!

    Audra2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • I can’t recommend the little house enough! This place is just as lovely, clean, and cozy in real life as it looks in the photos. The bed is very comfortable and sleeps two easily. The sitting area gave us plenty of room to hang out with a friend for a late take-out dinner. The kitchen is small but has all you need. The bathroom is a little bit of an unusual arrangement (and probably best for couples/people who don’t need too much privacy), but it was a great set up and the shower water pressure was great. (Showers are short because it’s a small water heater, but that wasn’t a big deal.) The house itself is super quiet but still in a great location, with a 2 minute walk to good cafes and a 7 minute walk to the heart of Ballard. Most importantly, Ben was a fantastic host. He and his wife lent us an air mattress when we thought we might need one, and they were super easy to communicate with and very responsive and flexible. I’m definitely going to try to stay here again next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!

  • Manuela was very communicative. Loved the style of the decor. Very comfy! In a busy neighborhood, the security locks at the street gate and our apt door felt well thought out. I’d highly recommend.

    Sara2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Manuela, your Airbnb is fantastic. It is open and airy with cozy spaces to relax and a wonderful user-friendly kitchen. It’s also located in a great location. I was able to walk to and from my workshop in downtown Fremont quickly, and I felt safe returning to the Airbnb in the evenings. Absolutely perfect!

    Carrie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Manuela's place is steps away from some of the best dinning in Seattle. Not only that but you can easily bus or run on the city trail to go anywhere in town. The unit itself is stylish and clean. I felt at home instantly and loved staying in the cozy unit.

  • Comfortable bed, many pillow choices, Roku TV that is fast and easy, many options to make coffee, pour over, press, and drip. Nice dark chocolate bar. The best is the heated floors. The apartment stays at a steady temperature. Lots of thought went into how it's put together.

Sleepless in Seattle? Not on this adorable houseboat right smack in the middle of all that Seattle has to offer. For adventurers who are looking for more of an experience than just a place to sleep, take this opportunity to have a classic Seattle houseboat all to yourself. This Westlake location is ideal for people who want to explore the city and cool neighborhoods nearby or for locals who just want a little getaway without the long drive.
This houseboat may be little, but it is oozing with charm and comfortably laid out. Big windows and bright spaces make it feel homey and quaint, a writer's and reader’s paradise! Or kick back, go retro and watch a good old fashioned DVD on the wall-mounted screen. In good weather, enjoy "The Nest" on top of the boat. It offers views of the Space Needle and Lake Union. Umbrellas and furniture make outdoor seating down below pleasant and protected during the rain! Enjoy the friendly neighbors you'll encounter on the dock. It's a real boat that's been adapted to a house so be prepared for living that is "boat sized" which means tiny but very clean boat bathroom and shower, narrow passageway and a unique bed that is technically a queen, but sleeps more like a full. Let the gentle rocking of the water lull you to sleep and remind you that you are on one of Seattle's coveted houseboats!
Westlake is uber-convenient to downtown Seattle, South Lake Union (Amazon and also some museums, boat tours, etc) the amazing Fremont arts district, and classic lovely Queen Anne Hill. See the notebook onboard for our suggestions in the area, or call!
  • Sugar Shack was a perfect getaway for me - a single woman. It was a cozy, comfortable and unique little boat. Everything I needed to cook for myself and stay in was there. Music, radio and DVDs are provided for entertainment. And I loved being right on a bike and walking path along the lake for afternoon exercise. It was very easy to get downtown if you'd like to sightsee.

    Colene2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Super cool and unique spot to stay. Everything is labeled which was very convenient. Enjoyed the viewing deck up top in the mornings or before settling down at night and the bed had a lot more room then expected. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, great hosts as well. Was quite the adventure and if were ever back in town we’d gladly stay again!

    Ricky2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Staying on the water may not be for everyone, but this little boat is adorable.

    Stuart2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend this stay. The boat was incredibly clean with lots of information available throughout. For me, the best part is the location of the boat. We decided to not rent a car due to the proximity of the boat to the downtown area. We were able to wake up, drink a cup of coffee, grab breakfast and be a Pike Place Market all within just a couple of miles. The bed the is incredibly comfortable as well, so waking up and actually getting up was a bit difficult haha. The shower was a bit small but hey, it's a boat. It's all part of the adventure. Thank you Gretchen once again for the incredible accommodations.

    Jeremy2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • A truly delightful experience from beginning to end. Can’t recommend enough!

    Graham2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place, clean and had everything we needed. Uber to pikes place about $9 which was a great price. Spent the weekend relaxing and definitely would stay again!

    Alexa2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • There are a few houseboats you can rent in this area, but Gretchen's is particularly charming. The Sugar Shack has been beautifully maintained since 1946-- so don't expect a modern fiberglass yacht, this mostly wooden boat is worn to a smooth shine by years of use, kind of a hobit house of a boat. While it was very cold out, we were so comfy sleeping there and listening to the rain. My boyfriend who loves camping sleepily pointed out: it's like sleeping in a tent but with a bed and you don't have to fold it up wet. It really is a home away from home, complete with all the things you hope an AirBNB will have but often doesn't. A variety of tea and coffee (french press and pot), snacks in the fridge, extra towels, DVDs, lamps in all the right spots, individual curtains on each perfect bedroom window, and wonderful labels to help you sort yourself out. Gretchen was able to answer all our questions and accommodate our last minute booking. She graciously allowed us a late check out-- I wish we could have stayed a few more nights.

    Laura2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Gretchen was very helpful, the tips she provided in the binder were great and the house boat offered a very unique and comfortable experience.

  • This place fit our needs perfectly while attending a speech and debate competition in Bothell. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The amenities were clean and comfortable... and the snacks and extra toiletries were a nice and unexpected touch. Thank you Homeira for your gracious hospitality and flexibility.

PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS UNDER “SPACE” BEFORE REQUESTING TO BOOK. THANK YOU! This private room is located on a lower level. It is fully furnished with a full size spring mattress, desk, and wardrobe. The size of the room is ideal for one guest, however can accommodate two guests. My place is just minutes to i-405 freeway, Woodinville Wineries, Bellevue, Redmond and the following business locations: Microsoft, Amazon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and many more!
Due to guests not reading our listing descriptions, resulting in frustrating poor reviews, we ask that you read and understand the following before booking: 1. This is a private room in a shared house with several other airbnb travelers. You will most likely run into other guests (male and female) and hear them walk, talk, enter and exit. 2. There is no private bathroom, but there are 3 shared bathrooms. 3. Since this is a shared home, we expect our guests to be considerate and cleanup after themselves in shared spaces, specifically the bathrooms and kitchen. 4. We do not live in the home. Our co-host lives in the home to assist if needed. 5. Unfortunately, with history of overuse and theft of toilet paper, we provide one roll of toilet paper to guests. Additional toilet paper must be purchased by guests.
My neighborhood is a close community with an easy going group of diverse and respectful people! Plenty of street parking and a very peaceful area to talk a stroll.

My condo is in a very quiet neighborhood within walking distance of public transportation. It provides easy access to Aurora Ave/Pacific Highway and Interstate 5. Seattle is just 25 minutes away.
Mine is a split-level condo with two bedrooms; one of which will be yours during your stay. The guest bedroom features a queen bed, desktop PC, and Xfinity cable television. There is a shared bathroom with shower right outside your room. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience on the 2nd floor as well. On the first floor is the kitchen with coffee maker and all the appliances you may need for preparing meals. Coffee, tea, bagels. seasonal fruit and eggs are complementary.
The neighborhood where this condo located is very family oriented and friendly. It is quiet and because of the hills, is great for walking.
  • Andrea is an excellent host. Love the comfort of the room, the convenience of the location, and her hospitality. The room was super clean. Andrea even changed the towel after a couple of days. Very nice of her. I will highly recommend this place.

  • I had a great 3-week stay with Andrea. She is kind and friendly but also gives you your space. The room where I stayed was comfortable and just the right amount of space. During my long stay, I was able to use the kitchen and cook, and to store things in the cupboard/fridge. A great place to stay!

Come relax in my garden cottage. Located in my quarter of an acre backyard in Bothell this 400 square foot one bedroom space is the perfect place to relax after exploring or if you are in town for work after work. It offers lots of seating options and the amenities you need such as Keurig, Fios WiFi, tv, cable, Chromecast and a DVD player. As well as your own private deck to relax outside.
This is a separate space on my property and sits behind the main house in the back yard. You access it through a gate beside the main house and follow a cement walk way to the gated porch. This little house was actually built on the property prior to the main house so around 1955 and is a cinder block home. If it is a sterile, generic hotel environment you're after, this place is probably not for you. as It covers a small footprint but has a nice kitchen space, living room and separate bedroom with a large closet. The bathroom is small but efficient.
I am situated in a suburban area in Bothell but just a few blocks from Kenmore. My street is quiet with nice size yards and close to everything you could need from restaurants to shopping to buses all over the area. Bothell was just listed as top 10 Nicest places in America by Reader's Digest https://www.rd.com/culture/nicest-places-america-2018/ I love my suburb.

It's a private spacious bedroom with a 1.5 shared bathroom in a newly build townhome located very close to I-5. Parking available and located in a very good community. All the big stores(Fred Mayer,Costco, Alderwood Mall, restaurants) are located within 1.5 miles. Transit center to Seattle downtown and other places is quite near to my place.
It's a private room with a big spacious closet with cloth hangers.. the bed room also has comfortable work space for students/work purpose travelers. The room can be locked from inside and outside for privacy and safety. The private and unshared bath room is just next to the bed room.
We live in a very quite gated community which has security cameras installed. Our location is very close to Alderwood mall and Lynnwood transit center. There are a lot of options for food/coffee and shopping near by.

  • Vaishali and Prince were the most responsive hosts that I've stayed with! Vaishali texted to check in with me every day and went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed. The townhouse seems new and the room was very clean, with plenty of closet space, desk and full length mirror. You get a parking space in the driveway and a key fab to enter/exit the gated property community. I had a great stay!

Hello! Our house is a couple blocks off broadway in the northern section of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. We are a mix of locals, folks new to the area and travelers This is a great place for guests on a budget who enjoy sharing common space with locals and other travelers. This is also a great option to anyone just moving to the area.
Hello! Our house is a couple blocks off broadway in the northern section of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The room is one of five bedrooms in our house. You will be staying with roommates and other airbnb guests. We have a cozy kitchen, bathroom and living room with lots of light! You can do laundry downstairs ($1 wash / $1 dry), and hang out in our lovely living room. Our house is the tall, dark and handsome type, height / weight proportionate, with a red brick exterior (if you're into that sort of thing). Good to know we are an older home, not a hotel so the aesthetics come with the territory. We're two blocks from Broadway, with a stupid amount of cool shit and buses within walking distance. You can get to the Pike/Pine nightlife in a short 10-minute walk. Broadway has transformed from its grungy gutter-punk needles-and-heroin 90s roots. Maklemore filmed a music video here last night. Sir Mix-A-Lot wrote "My Posse's on Broadway" about it. Pearl Jam came up with their name at B&O Espresso just down the block (RIP B&O – now moved to Ballard). We also live right by the library, and we've even been there a few times. The room can hold one person. The room is a converted attic so its ceilings are slopped on the sides of the room. For folks over 6 ft this may feel like a squeeze. The room has closet space, desk and chair, lamps, 4 bath towels, bedding provided, shelving and drawer space, french press, hot water pot, tea and coffee, iron and ironing board, TV with basic cable and locked 2 drawer file cabinet provided. The locked 2 drawer cabinet key will be on top of the file cabinet upon guest room check in. Guests should return the key to on top of the file cabinet when they check out from the room. The room door has a lockable deadbolt on it so guests can lock their room when in or leaving the room. The wifi signal is weak in this room so we have an ethernet cord that runs to the room. Guests in this room are welcome to use our living room anytime of the day where the wifi signal is strong. We supply a fan and air purifier in the room that also act as background noise. We find that in a house with several people these can be helpful tools to minimizing noise disturbances. We also provide ear plugs in this room. The room is on our third floor which is a converted attic. The third floor has leah's room, a shared space where an airbnb guest may stay and this room. As we only have one bathroom we limit the overall number of guests in the house to 5 at one time. Due to this we limit the guests in this room to one guest. The 2nd floor contains all of our common spaces. Guests are welcome to use all common spaces in our house. We ask that guests not enter private spaces or any door that is unlabeled. The bathroom is labeled and the kitchen and living room have open door ways. The laundry room is in the basement. Directions will be provided in the house manual after finalizing booking. Be aware that our house is older, and feels very lived-in. The paint and furniture have blemishes, our carpets have stains that won't quit and our tile floor looks like it needs a mopping even after a vigorous cleaning. Our building has some elements that disrupt wifi signal (brick etc) so the signal can be weak in certain areas of the house. The living room has great signal and is available to all guests any time of day. We deep clean the house a couple times a week and do daily light cleaning. While our house shows it age, it will always be cleaned up and ready for guests! We appreciate our house for the location and the people. Our neighborhood can be challenging to park in and only street parking is available. You'll be staying with two of us and a few other airbnb guests: Leah: Leah has lived in the house since 2011 Leah is a Midwest transplant who grew up in Michigan and spent a few years in Chicago before relocating to Seattle. Living with Leah is like summer camp. Her favorite moments in life are (1) when the power goes out (camping time!), (2) summer barbecues, and (3) when everyone wants to have a dance party. She's really good at people. Leah has several part time jobs that range from working as an ABA therapy assistant (therapy for youth with Autism), staff in a young adult shelter, Residential Advisor for High School International students in a dorm setting and driving with Lyft. Leah likes to keep busy and is often out of the house. You are most likely to see her around if you are at the house during late morning/early afternoon or get a ride from her! Andrew: Andrew has lived in the house since 2017. Andrew is originally from florida and loves cooking with butter, playing D&D, world building for games, history, science and spicy snacks. Andrew is pursuing a career in nursing and currently works with international high school students in a dorm setting.
  • Great place to stay, super convenient location and good price. Leah is quick to respond and handle any issues that may arise.

    Jason2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed in the upper floor bedroom for almost 2 months while finishing grad school. I think Capitol Hill is one of the best neighborhoods in Seattle, so I was very excited to find this place at such a great price. It was such a luxury to be within walking distance of so many great restaurants, coffee shops, the light rail, and downtown. The house is older, like many of the Craftsmen style homes in the area, and is shared with other Air BNB guests. The hosts did a great job of regularly cleaning the shared areas, and have posted fun signage throughout the house to help keep things orderly. The hosts were also very communicative and even checked in on me when the weather started heating up. The room is located at the very top of the staircase (good exercise!) and came with a comfortable bed, two-seater couch, desk, extra blankets and towels, an air purifier, and a fan. The space was very functional and I was pleasantly surprised to find it had a partial view of downtown. I recommend this place to anyone needing a friendly, long-term place to stay in Seattle, and who doesn't mind shared spaces and meeting new people.

    Alyssa2019-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • The space is exactly as advertised and very lovely. It was close enough to the light rail to get to the airport and very convenient. Check in was a breeze too. I arrived earlier than check in time but I could place my baggage in the shared space till I got back to check in. I would stay here again. Highly recommend. And everything was very clean too. From the bathroom to the room itself.

    Melissa2019-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place is good

    성욱2019-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great place in a convenient location. I didn't get a chance to meet Leah or Andrew but can tell from their bookshelf that they must be cool :). The place was really well put together and everything was easy and convenient. I was up in the loft, which I love, but creaky floors might bother some. Definitely recommended!

    Wilfred2019-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • The room and house are very nice and clean. But you have to pay extra for a key to lock your room when your leaving. Therefore you need to have paypol or venmo. I think a key has to be included due to the fact that the owner is not living there and 4 rooms are rented by different people not knowing each other.

    Moritz2018-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Like a simple room in a nice house, well stocked with all the things.

    Andrew2018-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay here and great value. Has everything one would need (kitchen access, cozy clean sleep space). Shating one bathroom was not an issue despite multiple guests. Walked most everywhere. Very easy access to/from airport via Link train. My experience here was just as I expected--very good! Andrew and Leah do a wonderful job of providing clear instructions for check-in, check out, and use of shared space. This is good because I did not me them in person, though Leah was very responsive via Airbnb messaging. Would absolutely stay here again 👍

It’s time for your escape. Our cozy & unique craftsman home apartment lets you relax, refresh, and unwind. Explore like a local, vineyards, farmers markets, mountain vistas, or a trip to the Space Needle, let us welcome you to your home away from home.
Our home has an unique history, it was originally constructed in 1920 at the peak of the Craftsman home era in the Seattle University District and was moved to Bothell in the 1950s to make way for the I-5 interstate. The space is a ground level basement MIL apartment with secure private entrance, 2 bed rooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen/dinning area, laundry room and treadmill at 1,400 sqft. There is a joining stair case with a baby gate at the bottom and a locked door at the top. Where guests are not permited. The hosts lives upstairs and do not share any common areas with the lower unit. In 2015, the space was updated with hardwood floors, crown molding, and wainscoting that matches the rest of the home. In 2019 the bathroom and kitchen was remodeled in addition to a new driveway.

  • Great little home in Woodinville, as described in the listing and photos! Good location for getting a lyft/Uber to wine tasting rooms. Thanks Jackie!

  • My girlfriend and I planned a weekend to see a concert at Chateau Ste Michelle and Jackie's place was PERFECT! So close to all the wineries in a nice quiet wooded neighborhood. Jackie's place was nicely appointed with a modern flair and super clean. We had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Would highly recommend Jackies to stay while visiting beautiful Woodinville (LYFT fare was only 10$ to get to Chte Ste Michelle!)

An inviting charmer in the heart of walking friendly Fremont. 900 sq. ft. newly remodeled with all new appliances. A great front porch for relaxing in the open air, full kitchen with dishwasher, laundry room, wifi and 55 inch TV. Queen and Full bed. Convenient access to PCC (groceries) and dozens of restaurants and bars all within a few blocks. For the full Guidebook with categories of local attractions including addresses visit; https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20137424/Guidebook
The house was built in 1900 and has been in my family for almost 60 years. It has a beautiful light-filled bay window that overlooks the street and gets great afternoon sunshine. The front porch has been expanded to allow groups of 4-5 people to sit and enjoy interacting with the active neighborhood street. Within 2-3 blocks of the house the neighborhood has an extensive collection of art, bars, coffee shops, restaurants, music venues, grocery store, and an elementary school with newly remodeled playground, and Theo Chocolate Factory offers delicious tours daily. Greenlake is an easy mile and a half walk away - just walk to the Woodland park zoo (1 mile) then across upper Woodland Park to the lake.
Two of the more popular attractions in the neighborhood are the large statue of Lenin and the Troll Sculpture. Both of which are within about 3 blocks of the house. Like the rest of Seattle I really enjoy morning coffee at one of the local coffee shops. Cafe Ladro is my favorite, but Fremont Coffee has a great homey feel and you can always find Starbucks, but Milstead is a wonderful local alternative. In the evening I enjoy happy hours at Fremont Brewery, Shawn O’Donnells, Norm’s (dog friendly) or the Red Door. If I’m in the mood for live music The High Dive and Nectar have a great selection of bands playing nightly.
  • Perfect location for a family, walking distance to bars/restaurants. Close enough to gas works park for the lil ones. 10/10

  • Jim's place was perfect for our family. It was comfortable and close to everything! We had fun playing games and watching TV. Jim provided a very extensive guide of different places to see and things to do in the area. We will most definitely come back!

    Kimberly2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place was fantastic. I could not have asked for a better location. My co-worker and I stayed here for a few days. My favorite things: - Within easy walking distance to the PCC Fremont Co-op. We walked there get groceries and food from the hot bar when we weren't going to restaurants. If you want restaurants there are SO many within walking distance. - Close to the Burke-Gilman greenway. We went for a run there every day. - COFFEE was provided! This is so important to an addict like me. - I don't usually watch TV on vacation, but we had a long rainy day and it was such a pleasure to relax and watch Netflix on the couch with MAGIC RECLINING BUTTONS!!! So great. - I also appreciated that there was a place for compost and recycling. Yay! - It was generally a quiet and comfortable spot. Perfect for what we needed. Thanks again!!

  • Jim was an excellent host. His responses to questions were prompt, kind, and accommodating. His home is exactly as described: beautiful, clean, convenient. Thanks so much Jim! We would definitely stay here again.

  • The house is awesome. Jim is great. Stocked with everything we needed. Clean. Easy check-in.

    Ray2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure Jim’s place is perfect! The location allows you to relax and not have to drive anywhere when you want to get food, drink, coffee, enjoy shopping, or meeting up with friends. It truly is a sweet treasure of a place in Fremont. Jim puts a lot of extra touches from the quality of towels, to even the grade of toilet paper. The little things matter and this place has all the best little touches. Thank you Jim!

Come and relax for a day or a week in my quiet upstairs space in my suburban Bothell house. I have set up the space to have everything that you need in the 570 square feet available. The color scheme is relaxing and the space has been structured to be comfortable with lots of seating options and offer the amenities you need such as Keurig, Fios WiFi, tv, cable, and a Chromecast for your streaming needs. With good heat and air conditioning so you are comfortable year round.
This is a separate space in my house, it occupies it's own floor with it's own entrance from the outside. The stairs to the space are quite narrow and steep but it is worth it. It comfortably holds 3 to 4 people with lots of space to spread out and do your own thing. The full size bed has a foam mattress and the queen size bed has a spring mattress so pick the one you find most comfortable. There is also an extra twin roll away bed in the closet you can use for extra sleeping space. Enjoy the sliding door with a back deck with space for three outdoor chairs. This space is not suitable for young children due to the steep stairs. And one of my dogs can be a lot for smaller humans.
  • Tina's upstairs suite is cozy and private. You have your own entrance, with a downstairs laundry room that Tina tries not to use while she has guests upstairs that has a little table, place for shoes and storage space, if needed. The stairs are a little steep and narrow, but with good handrails. Good counter space in bathroom with shower. Plenty of towels and linens. A little room upstairs that doubles as a storage space, closet, and pantry. I enjoyed the Keurig machine's coffee every morning. Microwave and small refrigerator for making simple meals. Nice glass dining table with seating for four. Two cozy swivel chairs that are strategically placed to enjoy the electrical fireplace w/remote and can turn to be facing the TV. Manually reclining love seat. Big desk, books, some DVDs and access to games. Two big beds in the bedroom. I loved the backyard! It is so private. The suite has a little balcony that looks over it, but no stairs leading down to it--you go around from the front. The street is very quiet. Only people who live on the street use it. Tina's place is a perfect little, quiet getaway.

  • Nice quiet apartment in a good location, perfect for our party of 3. Easy check in, very accommodating. Plenty of amenities and tips for places to go. Only thing noticed that might bother some people was dog smell and a little dog hair—didn’t bother us though since we have dogs too, and everything else was amazing!

It's a private room with attached private bathroom and a huge walk-in closet

  • Sparkling clean room and bathroom with a cute little outdoor area only accessible from the bedroom. Easy check in and clear directions. Good communication from the hosts. Very comfy bed, great shower and plush, luxurious towels. The room was quite chilly when we arrived but there is a thermostat you can adjust the heat in the room. It's an electric wall unit so it takes a little while to start putting out heat. No biggie. No access to the kitchen but they thoughtfully provide some water and cups on the nightstand next to the table. There is a desk there available for use as well.

My split-level home is situated near downtown Bothell (17 miles north of downtown Seattle). The room is downstairs (partially below ground: daylight basement), fits two comfortably in a queen bed, has a small desk and comfy chair. You will have access to a full bath with a jetted tub, galley kitchen, and washer/dryer for your use. We are a quiet, clean residence.
The room is in the downstairs area of my split-level home. The queen size bed frame is new with a memory foam topper on the mattress. There is no TV in any of the bedrooms, but the wifi is good enough to watch shows on your own laptop/tablet. In 2014, I added extra insulation between the upstairs and downstairs to help dampen any noise in the bedrooms. As stated in the "Other Things to Note" section, the room next door to this one is also rented here on AirBnB, so you may have to share the bathroom. Your room is private with a locking door.
Bothell is a wonderful town that is in the middle of some great transformations. Most recently is the opening of a McMenamin's resort: a must see!! We are close to Woodinville (and the wineries), Lynnwood, Edmonds, Bellevue, Seattle and Everett. We have some awesome parks and bike/walking trails in town as well as some great restaurants and bars (just ask). The north end of Lake Washington is just a 10 minute drive from my home.
  • I had an amazing experience in Nina’s airbnb listing and I felt very comfortable during my stay. I definitely will recommend her place to anyone who is looking to travel around the Bothell area!

    Nam2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a really great location if you are wanting to mostly stay and play in Downtown Bothell. Less than 1 mile from all the shops and restaurants, including a grocery store. This particular location will keep you out of all the potential traffic that you run into getting in and out of downtown Bothell. It's also just a few miles and a very quick trip to downtown Woodinville, which is very close to a Costco. The Mill Creek/Canyon Park area is also accessible from here without getting on the freeway. The kitchenette was more than I expected. And even though there was a very adequate desk in my room, the family room space was nice to have available and was very comfortable. The WiFi was good and coverage on my Verizon phone was good. Although there isn't a private entry to the rooms available, Nina and Jonathan have set it up well so that exit and entry is easy. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

    Charles2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Nina's place is spotless clean and in a great Bothell location!

    Raffa & Kevin2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • I thought this was a great, quiet location close to downtown Bothell and it's waterfront park. The hosts thought of everything, I forgot face wash but found a face bar in the bathroom. I asked for a bit of time in the sun in the backyard and they happily let me walk through their space, meet the pups and lounge out there. If you're a dog lover you will love their dogs but even if you're not they do an amazing job of keeping them separate from the guests. I really appreciated all the magazines about the surrounding area and the map in the kitchen with little notes was super helpful! I never spent much time in the shared spaces as I stayed very busy while I was there but the lounge looked awesome. I totally recommend it!

    Rosa2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Three words to describe my stay: serene, comfortable, accommodating. Nina and Jonathan responded quickly, offering pertinent information. They are friendly and hospitable. They are intentional about accommodating their guests with little extras while providing the essentials like a super comfortable bed, coffee and creamer. The bathroom was also a source of comfort; the plush bathroom mat, a jetted tub, and the surrounding soft decor all promote a welcome relaxation giving the feel of a private mini spa. There is lots of space in common area reserved for guests downstairs beyond your room if you wanted. I would love to come back and would recommend this space and these hosts.

    Jina2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • I felt like I had my own sleeping room, living room, kitchen, bathroom. I really like being able to move about the space. There are a lot of really nice little touches to appreciate like for one the Petes coffee is awesome ...I would recommend.

  • What a beautiful home and a beautiful part of Washington! Edmonds is nicely situated close enough to get to Seattle easily by bus or car or bike and is also a small cute town with lots of nature trails to explore and a nearby ferry that takes you to the islands! The house is cozy and welcoming with the best host, Adam! Adam provides really nice local teas and coffee and has a great kitchen to cook with. Adam definitely manages the space well so I felt very safe there with the other guests! Raz was super helpful anytime we needed anything as well! Definitely a great spot to stay in during your time exploring Washington!

  • A great place to stay; a quiet neighborhood and super close to the freeway. Great service.

    Karla2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • My fiance and I stayed for a month and the stay was excellent. Co-host Adam was very nice and quick to respond to any issues. Only problem we had was another guest eating our food. When this was brought to the attention of Adam after the second time it happened, Adam installed a camera in the kitchen to help prevent the issue from reoccurring. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in Edmonds. Do be warned, if you stay in the Gold Room, the wall heater in the bathroom will sound very loud and rattle the wall. Startled me the first time I heard it.

It's a private spacious bedroom with a 1.5 shared bathroom in a newly build townhome located very close to I-5. Guests with the car should use the FREE STREET PARKING OUTSIDE THE GATES OF THE COMMUNITY. The house is located in a very good and safe gated community(AXIS CONDOMINIUM) . All the big stores(Fred Mayer,Costco, Alderwood Mall, restaurants) are located within 1.5 miles. Transit center to Seattle downtown and other places is quite near to my place.
The room is on the 3rd floor besides host's master bedroom. Guest has a private bathroom available for them.
It's a quite clean and quite residential neighborhood. There is a Safeway, Starbucks, Urban coffee and other good restaurants in less than .05 miles distance. The transit center to get bus for Seattle, Bellevue and Everett is less than 0.4 miles. Alderwood Shopping mall, Costco are around 1 miles from my place.

The check-in was very simple due to communication and I felt very welcome in Prince‘s and Vaishali‘s home. They gave many tips and would always ask if I need anything. The bedroom was very clean and the bed comfortable, the bathroom was clean aswell. I had an awesome stay and can only recommend this. Great bed, kitchen and bathroom well stocked with all the necessary stuff, and even some nice surprises like oatmeal, coffee maker and tea/coffee. Cable TV, and fun games and coloring books for our boys. There were even dog food and water bowls. Tasha was clear and responsive, and the location was handy for our needs.

***in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, because my door is still open to guests, I take care to clean thoroughly between reservations and provide Clorox wipes and Purell for everyone's safety.*** Second-story apartment off Ballinger Way just north of Seattle! • The apartment was very spacious and the living and bedroom furniture is very cozy and comfortable. We had a great time watching a movie in the living room the evening we were there :-)The location from DT Seattle was a little far for us (need to drive 25 minutes, not walking distance) but it might be ok for others. We had a car but we thought we could manage it walking until we got there. We also had a bit of issue messaging Tara while we were there but that was probably due to the Airbnb app; if we had a local cell that might not have happened as she was very responsive before we got there. We’d definitely stay back here again if we came back for longer and didn’t need to be close to DT Seattle!

    Mag2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great, its really nice and comfortable! Tara was a great host and she really takes care of that place. Hope it stays that good 👌🏽👌🏽

    Carlos Alberto2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • My family had a great one night stay. We were comfortable, Tara was responsive and friendly and helped us to have a perfect overnight stay! The place was clean and had everything we needed and then Some. I even Took a bubble bath! Mahalo Nui!

    Valley2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Contrary to the airbnb categories here - it made me put something - we were not able to stay at Tara's due to a last minute change in plans. She was very understanding though, and offered a discount if we can come back at a later time. She was a good communicator and I will definitely check out her place if and when we need to come back to Seattle.

    Kristina2020-02-19T00:00:00Z

Comfortable, garden-level 1- bedroom apartment in a conveniently located duplex house in Maple Leaf, (Seattle area) Washington.
Close to Maple Leaf Park - between Green Lake and Northgate Shopping Center. Friendly neighborhood for walking and enjoying beautiful views. Popular Hawaiian restaurant and Coffee Shops nearby.
  • Great place!

    Patti2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy and clean space. Great location! Easy access to Green Lake, Fremont, Wallingford, Ballard, the U District, Queen Anne, downtown... basically everywhere I wanted to go. We enjoyed our stay here!

    Kerry2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed staying at Charly and Linnea’s place. A very well-designed space with the keypad on the door, so very easy access. They were also responsive in their communications. No wonder their place is usually booked! Fortunate to have found it :)

    Michael2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is a apartment style stay with the city of Seattle nearby. You will not be disappointed with your time here

    Ray2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I are in our 50's and 60's, and this was our very first Airbnb experience. Let me first say, that Charly and Linnea are top-notch, first-class hosts and people! The location of this Airbnb is right next to a neighborhood bar (and Hawaiian restaurant) with the parking lot right on the other side. I am a light sleeper, and I usually need earplugs (primarily for hubby's snoring). So, I was a little concerned about the possibility of late-night bar noise and traffic. However, after reading all the other reviews about how quiet it was - I decided to book. The bar noise was non-existent, and indeed it was extremely quiet. Because you are in a basement apartment - there is noise from above, as there would be if you were staying with friends or family. But, this noise is infrequent and completely acceptable and understandable. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and cozy. I think it was the absolute best solid week of sleep I have ever had while traveling!! Of course, we walked ourselves silly every day - so, falling into a comfortable bed was easy. The bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed - and nothing we didn't! The chocolates and mineral water were lovely touches, as well as the homemade gingerbread cookies (thank you, Linnea)! Throughout the apartment are original carvings from Charly and beautiful collages from Linnea, and this really made the Airbnb unique and homey. Because we stayed in January, we didn't get to experience the fullness of the garden. I would imagine, though, it would be spectacular in the spring and summer. However, the front path to the stairs down was filled with fragrant hedges and rhododendron bushes. Birds abounded everywhere! And we would advise packing some peanuts for the resident squirrel, who might just come right inside the door (if you're not careful!). Next time we come back to visit our former state, I would definitely book here again. For the money, the privacy, the space and the quiet - there is absolutely NO motel/hotel that will ever compare to Charly & Linnea's! (And, yes, I am talking to you frugal but adventurous travelers out there!) Many thanks to you, Charly and Linnea, for making our first experience and excellent one. You have definitely earned the designation Superhost!

    Jill2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect choice for my short stay in Seattle. Charly & Linnea’s place is clean, centrally located, and easy to access. I enjoyed the flexibility of self-check in and check-out, and having a quiet space to return to after long days of conferencing. I would highly recommend!

    Stephanie2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Well located near a lot of great places to eat or get a cup of coffee, and an easy walk from bus lines makes for quick access to the rest of Seattle.

    Nathan2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • A clean and comfortable place to stay. Great location with a casual Hawaiian restaurant next door - perfect for take out or eat in breakfast, lunch or dinner. A coffee shop across the street and not far from supermarkets, drug stores and other essentials. The hosts completely respect the guests' privacy but are easy to communicate with. Easy and convenient off-street parking

The place is close to the heart of the Greenwood neighborhood with a number of breweries and bars, grocery stores, and cafes all within walking distance. Located near 8th Ave NW, it's a straight shot to into Fremont and Ballard, 10 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bicycle. Bus line 28 goes directly downtown and stops less than a block away; it takes about 30 minutes to get downtown by bus.
The basement mother-in-law studio is clean with wood floors. There is a small, simply outfitted kitchen with a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, and toaster. There is no dishwasher so dishes must be washed by hand. The large closet easily accommodates hung clothing and a dresser to unpack into. The house, above on the first floor, is lived in by the host. The studio access is through the backdoor into a shared laundry room and storage space in the basement. The entry way into the studio itself is a separate door and key, and check-in is available 24 hours. This house is in the Greenwood neighborhood, located with access to other sights in Seattle: Pike Place Market: 6.7 miles Space Needle: 6.4 miles Capitol Hill: 6.7 miles Golden Gardens: 1.8 miles Greenlake Park: 2 miles Carkeek Park: 2 miles Fremont: 3.2 miles University of Washington: 4.3 miles Washington State Convention Center: 7.2 miles Ballard: 2.5 miles You'll have access to the laundry machine and dryer 24/7. Wifi is accessible everywhere, including the back yard. There is a briquette charcoal BBQ available for use in the summer. Feel free to make use of the backyard and front yard patio. Chairs, tables, and the BBQ may be stowed away seasonally but are always available upon request. Your apartment is equipped with coffee and various teas. I enjoy sharing knowledge of Greenwood and Seattle. Don't hesitate to ask Tyler or Kristin about the area because we hope to make your stay memorable and unique. If you have down time, we can be found at local watering holes or events (or just chilling on our porch), don't hesitate to see what's up!
The place is close to the heart of the Greenwood neighborhood with bars, restaurants, and every day amenities such as grocery stores and a post office within walking distance. The beer connoisseur would find this neighborhood especially fun because of Naked City Brewery, Chuck's Hop Shop, Flying Bicycle Co-op Brewery, Lantern Brewing, and many other in neighboring Ballard. Located near 8th Ave NW, it's a straight shot to into Fremont and Ballard, 10 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bicycle. There are many great parks within 2 miles, including urban lakes and saltwater shorelines. Although we don't allow smoking in the apartment, you are welcome to smoke outside as long as debris and butts are cleaned up. We are 2 blocks from Have a Heart pot shop.
  • I felt right at home in this little studio. Cozy and private with a nice little kitchen space and comfortable bed. The only negative I would note is that noise does come through the ceiling from upstairs at times, also be sure and read the details about the ceiling heights-I am only 5'5" so it was fine for me but the shower/bathroom ceiling especially is very low! Beware if you are tall or claustrophobic. Personally I love this neighborhood and the space worked very well for me, I would stay here again for sure!

    Zakiah2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Tyler was a wonderful host! We did not see him much but he actively messaged back when we needed help or clarification with anything. Can't beat the price for what you get either. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to travel on a budget while still feeling right at home!

    Kelli2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a really great time here, the kitchen was definitely really nice to have. Really nice location, just a couple blocks from Fred Meyer and a couple buses from everywhere we wanted to go during our stay. Great host, communicative and informative but still gave us plenty of space and privacy.

    Ciara2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute and spacious home! Very private.

    Alejandra2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really great spot! I stayed for a month and I had everything I needed. Very close to bus stops and grocery store, Tyler is very helpful and I had complete privacy. One can hear occasional sounds from upstairs but it isn’t really a problem.

    Isobel2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Very quaint and cozy! This den is located in close proximity to all of the best spots in Seattle. There’s so much to do in Fremont as well as the downtown area and everything is 25 mins at most! During my stay we only had a few days of sunlight to really appreciate the locale but I can just imagine how beautiful this neighborhood is on a nice day in Spring. The hose was very responsive and accommodating to any needs and we always felt safe and at home during our stay here. The kitchenette space was perfect for late nights to cook a good dinner or snack after a hard day spent out in the rain and we were always warm in this spot. I would stay here again in a heartbeat just because of how much value is in this space’s location, amenities and hospitality. Thanks again!!!

This warm and cozy bedroom is the smaller of my two available spaces. Enjoy the comfortable double bed, the evening sun, and the option to share our kitchen and living areas. The house is in a quiet suburban neighborhood about 15 miles northeast of downtown Seattle.
Live family-style with shared bath, gourmet kitchen and living areas, and breakfast provided every day! Off-street parking is available. The bedroom faces west, holds a double bed, and is light and sunny. The bathroom is newly remodeled, with a deep soaking tub and shower.
I live in a suburban neighborhood that is close to everything. Restaurants and shopping are all walkable, and Seattle is only a short drive. For recreation, we're close to Lake Washington and the Burke-Gilman walking & bicycle trail.

  • first wanna say, that the host is a really nice guy, willing to aid in need, will give you space if you want privacy and all in all great hospitality. the location is very isolated from center Redmond and quit. has some hike roads for nature walk/running feel. you gonna need a car or a taxi service to travel to center town (15-30) min ride because the bus service is not that reliable. the apartment is clean, has most of basic needs and 2 really cute cats for you to not feel lonely :) though beware, one of them I am not sure if its a cat or a dog. pumpkin is the name, the male, is very friendly and always want to jump on you and lick you chin and have some affection toward him, very cute! if you like cats you gonna miss him. all in all, great place, solitude, quiet with a great host(person), what I needed!
