We loved our stay in Zadar. Although Mario did not seem very comfortable with English when we called when we arrived, he gave us a multitude of tips including a really delicious restaurant to eat fish and seafood, which was located close to the apartment. Our meal at Niko restaurant was outstanding, the bar is high for the next meal! As we had trouble finding housing, Mario came to pick us up at the bus stop and gave us a tour of the area by car: beaches, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The apartment is studio type and it is clean. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioning works great. However, there is no basic cooking condiments (oil, herbs, etc.). Mario thank you for your warm welcome and your valuable advice!

Mario is a great host and the appartement is nice and clean, situated in a peaceful neighbourhood of Zadar.

Mario is a really good host and speaks really good Spanish. He answered to all of our questions before the trip, he came to pick us up at the airport and he informed us about all the facilities (supermarket, beach, bars, restaurants, tourism information center, pharmacy, rent a car, bus station) near the appartment. The appartment is really nice: kitchen well equiped,Tv, wifi, double bed, small terrasse, modern shower. The place and its environ are quiet. For the future guests : the supermarket konzum is a little more expensive than bigger supermarkets that can be found further. The tourist information provides good ideas to discover Zadar and its area. We really recommand this place !!!!

Mario is very kind host, we arrived very late in the night and he was waiting for us at the house and gave us a lot of suggestions about places to visit and eat. We asked a late check out and it was not an issue. The apartment studio is very well and newly furnished, it has all you might need for a holiday, and Mario is always available on the phone. He offered us tea and coffee for breakfast. The house is located in a very quite neighborhood, walking distance from the beach and a short ride to Zara old town. Highly recommended!

Mario is a very nice guy ,he picked us up at the airport late at night and showed us around the area near the apt. He also recommended some good local restaurants . The apt is small but perfect for a short break ,it has aircon , cooking facilities and was very clean. On the day of departure Mario also dropped us to the airport for a small fee which is highly appreciated .

The idyllic and romantic house with wooden balconies are full. Host is also a complete and wide parking space and comfortable accommodation in many ways.

Woww it was Dream vacations! Elza is really welcoming and funny. She gave us fruits and Coffee. The appart is really nice, spacious, clean...Zadar is a beautiful city, it's good to walk by the sea to go in the old town! (25 minutes walk) or by the road (15 minutes walk) Thank you Elza! Elza was amazing !!!! Se welcomed us like we were coming home. She served us fresh fruit and lovely smile and gave us all information that we needed. She was soon helpful and we had a really wonderful time at her place. The apartment was sooooo nice, actually, it was better than the picture shows. The bathroom was so much bigger than it is in the picture. The location was also perfect since it is just 10 min walk from the beach. Travel agency, supermarket, bakery, nice restaurants was just near the apartment so it is really convenient. Everything was perfect and i would AUF JEDEN FALL recommend it to every one!!!!

Elza was a very communicative and easy-going host. Once at the apartment she told us everything we needed to know both about the flat and the city. She was very welcoming and friendly and she made us immediately feel like at home. The place was perfect for us, cozy, very clean and with everything needed to make us enjoy our stay. Also the basket of fresh fruit was a great treat for us! It was a great Airbnb experience and we would definitely stay at Elza place again in the future!

Elza was the perfect host. She welcomed us with fresh fruit and local meat and cheeses even though it was very late at night. She told us of the best beaches (7 minute walk) the bus routes (bus stop to old town zadar is 5 minute walk away bus takes 7 minutes to get there). She gave us our own space (I was traveling with my boyfriend) but was also very easy and friendly to contact if we needed to. The apartment it's beautifully modern, clean, bright and fresh. It is the perfect size and the balcony looking over the trees is amazing especially for evening sunshine. As previously mentioned the bathroom is bigger than it looks in the photos. This apartment is situated very well being in a lovely area close to a market (1 minute walk across and down the road). I don't stay in the same place twice but would definitely consider a stay with Elza again. The perfect host, a home away from home. Also she was great at contacting me prior to our trip so that I didn't worry.

Elza is a very good example of what makes Airbnb so great... she gave us so much background details about the city, her personal recommendations etc. and she just made our stay perfect by being so extremely friendly und uncomplicated. Her apartment also has everything what you need, so we definitely can recommend her for your stay at Zadar, especially when you are traveling by car.

These are rooms in a family run B&B-style hotel rather than a traditional airbnb. Our room was simple but clean and had fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Aleksandra and her mother were both very friendly and had plenty of advice and information for our stay. Note that it is a reasonable walk to the old town, which may be too far for some, but there are shingle beaches nearby for swimming and sunbathing and restaurants and shops. The only downside was the noise from the plumbing in other rooms, which seemed to suddenly whoosh through our room whenever anyone turned a tap on.

Really nice host! There was a double booking, but she arranged another appartment for us that was really nice! So we have no review for the appartment, but just one of alexandra.

Aleksandra's place makes me feel like I live in a hotel, everything was as described, with fridge, AC, and toilet was all very clean. The room also smell really good, we didnt know what did that but that made us have a really good sleep after such a tiring day on the beach and around the city in Zadar. A little bit hard to find at first, but I used GPS, so I finally found it, narrow street to get to the house if you are driving but they have private parking and walking distance to the beach! Very well recommended!

We enjoyed stay at Dennis's apartment a lot. Dennis and his wife were very welcoming and we were shown on the map all the best places and restaurant which are worth visiting. Beach is only 5 min walk from the house and there are few good restaurants around with a supermarket. House was very cosy and clean. We had few BBQs and very nice breakfast in the shade under the fig tree outside of the house. Kids enjoyed to running around outside of the house while we were having a BBQ. There is a bus station nearby which we used to visit old town of Zadar few times. In general very good holiday and we strongly recommend this apartment together with the host.

Antonia is an amazing host and always replied immediatly to any questions we emailed her. We had a great time at her place. She welcomed us with a smile and provided us with al the information we needed about Zadar. The appartment was just like the pictures. The location was ideal, very close to the beach and some good restaurants. We had an amazing stay. Thank you, Antonia!

Nice! Wonderful stay!

Thanks to Antonia for the wonderful days in Zadar! We met Antonia at the airport saturday morning at 7:00am. She is very helpful and kind. On the way to our aparment she showed us some places and restaurants which was very . She gave us lots of informations about Zadar and we were able to check-in earlier (the official check-in is at 12). The apartment was as described and we felt comfortable. From the apartment it was a nice walk to the old-town of Zadar (about 20 min.). When we wanted to rent a bicycle or asked for things to do (eg, horseback riding), Antonia was always helpful and always had deals. We rent 2 bikes for a day-trip to Nin (a very nice place!) from Antonia. Thanks a lot. Juli & Frank

Antonija was very helpful from when I first booked and was very kind to pick me up from the bus station on my arrival in Zadar. She is very warm and welcoming and willing to help organise excursions for her guests. The location is wonderful-so close to beaches, cafes, bars and supermarkets, but removed from the busy tourist area of Old Town where I stayed last time I visited Zadar. I would highly recommend staying here, as the surrounding beaches are less crowded and it is much quieter-and the Old town can still easily be reached by bus, on bike or a lovely walk along the water. The apartment is wonderful and very well equipped to visit Zadar independently. Very clean and accommodating to guests. I also met Tony and Nada during my stay, and they were also very kind and made me feel at home. As a solo traveller it was nice to stay in a place where there were people around, and I felt very safe there. I hope to visit again one day. So if you visit Zadar and want to meet wonderful people, definitely check this place out!

We really enjoyed our stay the apartment was well equipped and really clean with a nice terrace. Antonia's husband picked us up and dropped us off at the airport for a reasonable price and it was very convenient as they lived upstairs but weren't intrusive at al. The area is residential but close to the sea and some fab restaurants just round the corner.

There isn't enough space to type how great this place is. By far, the absolute best AirBNB ever. The speediest communication. Picked us up from the bus stop. Our train was even 30 minutes late at night and she waited. Walked us through the whole apartment and said "I really hope it is what you expected and like the pictures." It is EXACTLY like the pictures. The air conditioning was amazing, kitchen is stocked with pots/pans/soap/dish towels/wine glasses/silverware (everything you could possibly need), wifi password is clearly posted on the inside of the door, bathroom towels and sheets are super crisp and clean smelling. The location is fantastic. Super close to the beach and bus stops. 30 ,minute walk to center of town but there is a direct 5 minute bus that's about 2 dollars per person. The balcony is perfect for breakfast and has a clothes line for laundry and wet swimsuits! 5 minute walk from a grocery store. There is so much storage in this apartment. We wanted to extend our stay but she was all booked up, obviously we know why! If we could, we would have stayed two weeks in this place, it's that great!

We only stayed for one night and therefore didn't see much of the neighborhood but we sure would have loved staying at Antonia's place for a few more days! The appartment is spacious and definitely looks like the kind of appartment an hotel would rent, and Antonia is a very kind host as well! Plus she can give you a lift to the airport, which will allow you not to wait for the bus or to pay an expensive price for a taxi.

We had a perfect holiday in Andjelias Studio! She and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. Everything super clean and perfect to feel like at home. Nice neighborhood to relax in the morning, short distance to the next beautiful and quiet beach and good distance to go in 10 minutes by bike to the old town (we highly recommend to use the bikes to cycle the whole way along the coast!). Restaurant Mamma Mia around the corner and very good! Everytime again!

Angie was great and communicative. She gave us lots of information about the city. The apartment is modern and clean and match the photos. There is a supermarket next door and restaurants. We took the car to go into the old town. Angie had told us a convenient parking and cheap. The beach is 15 minutes walk. Just a little flat on the wi-fi that we have not managed to make it work. We recommend !!

Really neat and cosy apartment situated quite close to a nice beach area and only some minutes away from the city centre (we never took any public transportation to move around). Andjelija was helpful in guiding us on what to do and where to eat so we can definitely recommend her place to anyone staying in Zadar!

Great place to stay in Zadar, maybe a little far away from old town but also from massive tourist concentration. Nice pebble beach near and Angie is always ready to help and give you any info you'll need about the area. All is clean and new, the air conditioning saved our lives!

Andjelija was very helpful: she called a taxi for us to pick us up at the bus station to go to her place, she provided us with useful informations on the city and really took time to look up for informations for us. Her apartment was in a lovely area at around 30min walking distance from the centre, it was extremely clean and had all of the necessaries for a comfortable stay. I would recommand this place.

Appart very nice and comfortable. Anji is enough for her guests. I advise visiting Nin and the Krka park and that of Korneti.

Marina's place is absolutely lovely, spacious, beautiful and clean - one of my best experience if not the best with Airbnb. Moreover, Marina is an extremely kind person, contact was always easy. Appartment is close the beach (10 min.) and the city center is reachable with bus, on foot it is also possible of course, walking along the coast (30 min.). Ideal for solo travellers and couples. Note : no AC no WiFi, but you will not miss it, you have WiFi hotspots everywhere in Croatia and it is nice to spend some time without internet on holliday. Thanks a lot Marina, anytime again!

We stated here for 7 days. Everything was great. Apartment only a few minutes from a pebbly beach and shop just down the road. We took the bus into old town each night as apt a little far to walk. There s a very good restaurant 5 mins walk from the apt. So overall an excellent stay and I would recommend this apartment for anybody traveling to zadar.

We have four felt very comfortable. A beautiful apartment with a beautiful shaded terrace. The apartment is exactly as described. Centrally located. Close to the sea, restaurants, and shopping. Calm environment. The old town can be good coming by car or bus. The hostess Silvana and family is very nice and very helpful. The beach (pebbles) in Diklo (1km) has everything you want, sun, shade Pitches, water sports like jet ski, banana, paragliding etc.

On arrival we were greeted by a very welcoming Silvana and Renato. Very nice and helpful people, who answered all our requests and wishes! These apartments have everything arranged. Everything was clean and tidy. Especially liked the terrace! The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary to prepare any food. And also at the disposal of the grill. Washing machine in the annexe at the Silvana, who is always happy to help. At the nearest beach did not go - the children did not like it (dirty, though an extra charge). But from our place you can easily go to any other beach. Overall impressions of the place are very nice. If it is possible - happily return again!

If you are looking for a great base to explore the Zadar area then this is brilliant, a basic apartment made great by really helpful hosts and the use of bikes to explore the town. In our stay we rode into town every day not having to use the car, but for longer trips we visited Paklencia, Plitvicka and Krka and Kornati National Parks all within 1.5 hours drive away. Marijana and Matteo really went out their way to help us with any suggestions for places to visit or local knowledge and even checked us into the apartment after a late night arrival. We thank you for making our trip so comfortable and easy going!

Great place , 3.5 km from old town /central ,lovely big bed and good T.V /WIFI . free use of a bicycle got me into town in 10 min via the coast and harbours . Large supermarket 800 metres away . Fresh towels and even shower gel and shampoo .great value , pine forest and beach walks 1km away ,check out the FAMOUS BAR AND GRILL ,out of 20 bars I visited I consider it the best ,10 minute walk away .
