“241-acre park with picturesque waterfalls and miles of trails, including some off leash areas. It makes for a beautiful walk and is not a difficult hike at all. The park borders Bayview Cemetery which is stunningly beautiful in all seasons, but especially in the fall.”

“Known for its colorful 19th-century architecture and history. Many red brick buildings of Fairhaven’s Victorian-era survive in the federally designated historic district. Most of these are now home to a variety of unique local businesses, art galleries, restaurants and pubs and one of the best independent bookstores in the nation, Village Books. Some of our favorite shops are Fairhaven Runners, Paper Dreams and Drizzle Tasting Room. ”

“950 acre park provides a wide variety of recreational opportunities including; hiking, biking, running, paddling, swimming, horseback riding and even golfing. There’s a 2.6 mile trail that loops around the lake and an off-leash area for dogs. A boat launch is available on the east entrance of the park for those wishing to explore the park from the water. For the athletic crowd there are multi-use ball fields, pickleball and an award-winning 18 hole championship golf course. ”

“One of Lindsy's favorite breakfasts in town. Its so good in every way. I always get the #9 and a Half. YES PLEASE! Not Eli's favorite place, because he's a whiner and doesn't like a wait for breakfast... Also has TONS of vegetarian and vegan options for all our Veg Buddies who prove they are more planet conscientious than we are. But we try. ”

“Very surprising German beer selection, in fact only German styles. This one has been around since 2008 and has more of a restaurant feel than a modern brewery. The smoked Rauch bier was tasty. ”

“Italian and worth the wait. No reservations and plan on having to wait to get a table but they are good at what they do. Small, with great staff, they turn out excellent quality food every time. I recommend the Pancetta Brandy Chicken, mmmmm. ”
