We loved the house, it's character, artistic decoration and all the extra things which made it so comfortable and easy to stay in. Everything we could have needed was there. Eliza was the best host leaving us all the kitchen essentials and breakfast for our arrival, even spare toothbrushes in case we'd forgotten ours. Beds super comfy and plenty of fluffy towels for all. It makes all the difference! The garden is also heavenly, so much space and each room beautifully wild within the old walled garden. Such a peaceful location on the river, great walks right from the door. A nature loving, book reading, dog walking, bird watching paradise. We all loved it!

Our stay at Haw Farm was AMAZING Eliza could not be a better host. We arrived to a bottle of prosecco chilling in the fridge, croissants, bread etc. The house is beautiful and immaculate, with really comfortable bedding and soft towels. There is a huge garden which our dog absolutely loved, trampoline, BBQ and a short walk to the pub. We could have not asked for a better place to stay for our weekend away.

Before we set off,Eliza informed us that we had prepared milk, bread, butter and so on, which made us feel very warm. Due to the planned change, we arrived early at 11 a.m. After we texted Eliza , she rushed to the farm and prepared to introduce the house. The house was clean and historic, with fruit trees and trees in the yard, and we could eat it at will. People can walk along the river bank.

Dovecote is amazing. A beautiful, modern yet unique house. The kitchen has everything you need to be able to make great food, including a lovely Christmas dinner. It was so warm and quiet and I can not recommend it enough. Big enough for 4 adults to enjoy comfortably. The beds were great and the bathroom was lovely. The home made cake to welcome us was the perfect touch.

The venue was exactly as described. The barn was tucked away down a country road but still accesible to shops and pubs if needed. Hele generously baked us a lovely cake and a bottle of fizz to welcome in the new year. Both were a lovely touch. The beds were soo comfy especially the king size and the bathroom was clean. Would recommend any one to stay here if they want to explore the Cotswolds.

The Dovecote is a lovely home away! Well appointed, in a beautifully enchanting and quiet setting, with a very friendly host to boot. If you are a light sensitive sleeper I would recommend bringing your eye cover, but I recommend this stay to anyone looking to get away in the countryside!

You will love The Dovecote. The tranquil setting next to a lovely lake with tiny island and weeping willow reminded me of Swallows & Amazons. The cottage was very well presented and had all we needed. Great location for exploring whether walking or car.

Helen's 'Dovecote' is a beautiful retreat to escape to - we only wished we could have stayed longer. Helen has created a cosy 'home away from home' environment with all the mod while maintaining country charm. We immediately felt very relaxed and hope to be able to visit again. The cottage is maintained beautifully and the characteristic Dovecotes are very beautiful. We loved the nearby country walks with our dog and Helen's home made Victoria sponge cake was a welcome treat to tuck into on our return from a day of walking. Thank you Helen. Hope to be back.

We were looking for a countryside getaway and this fitted the bill perfectly. The house was lovely and had everything we needed to feel at home and the location is perfect for exploring the area on foot.

The Dovecote is a fantastic place to stay for anyone wishing to visit and explore the Cotswolds and local areas. Helen was a fantastic host, making us feel welcome from the get go, even baking us a lovely cake for our arrival. The accommodation was perfect for 2 couples (plus we had 2 little ones in travel cots) and felt like home for the duration of our stay. There's plenty of local amenities close by, plus some great places to visit just a short drive away. Lastly, what a beautiful setting. Waking up to the view of the lively pond was just lovely. Cooks Green Cottage is beautifully located in its own garden in the Severn Vale with lovely walks and countryside all around. The cottage is very well kept and equipped by Su, who is a very friendly and welcoming host. We travelled from Wales to the Cotswolds in search of fossils and found many interesting places on the way. Must be even better in springtime.

This cottage is a lovely place to stay for a few days. It is very comfortable and well equipped and closely connected to plenty of places where there are things to see and do. Su is very welcoming and helpful. High recommended.

Lucy was really friendly, communicated well. Arrangements for arriving were easy. She went beyond the call of duty and ran us down to the local museum for our evening appointment, then came and brought us back. Wow! Room was large and very clean, bathroom was luxury. Really good experience.

A good rural location with other houses around, but no noise. The house is a great design and all guest facilities were as advertised. I would definitely use this property again if I'm in the area.

Lucy was an amazing host, making us feel very much at home. The property is stunning and location is perfect for a country escape. An animal lover's paradise, the house, room and adjoining bathroom are impeccably clean and comfortable. Everyone including to the dogs and cats are warm and welcoming and the board is delicious and plentiful. The check-in/check-out times were flexible, which suited my business needs perfectly. There is also ample parking available on this quiet cul de sac and the wifi is good. I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone looking to stay in the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire area, who is comfortable with very friendly pets and looking for a welcoming and high-standard home from home.

What a lovely experience. I feel very lucky that my daughter and I stayed with Lucy and we hope we can return again soon. The room and house are beautiful and clean. Lucy went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, welcome and safe. Her son and daughter are very friendly (and very talented) and her dogs are so much fun! Wonderful comfy room in beautiful property. Close enough to Cheltenham for easy access but property itself out in the beautiful countryside. Lucy was very welcoming and accommodating, even staying up to let me back in after being at a wedding. Lovely room and shower facilities too.

What a find! Will definitely return. I went with 4 other members of my family. 2 adults and 3 pre teen children. The tent is huge and fitted 5 beds (a double and 3 singles easily). There was still ample space for moving around. Ruth and her family were all amazing hosts; welcoming, efficient, helpful and extremely likeable. The surprises just kept on coming! It truly is the little extras that make this such a fantastic find. 100% of you visit you will return.

Ruth is a lovely friendly host and she and her family have set up a wonderful place to camp. The bell tent is amazing, along with the essentials provided which elevate the experience. This makes it easy for someone like me who is car-less and cannot transport everything you would need. It's a relaxing experience made even more so by the wonderful camp site and facilities. A big thank you to Ruth for the ease of organising too!

We arrived to the tent which is exactly the same as the pictures which Ruth has uploaded, and even better with all the lovely fairy lights in place. She arranged warm and comfortable bedding for 6 people, and it was extremely cosy. Of course with everywhere else, where the sun sets it gets a little chilly but with our well prepared extra layers, and the blankets and duvets which Ruth kindly provided, we were very snug. Ruth also prepared us with an open gazebo where there was a dining table and bench, cutlery plates, BBQ set and tools, a gas stove and a complimentary wine bottle! With the weather perfect, we had a successful BBQ dinner, and the space around us was generous - we had space to run around and play volleyball too. We were surrounded by other tents and families but Ruth kindly allocated us in the far corner so we felt like we got a lot of privacy and space. We had such an amazing weekend thanks to Ruth's kind preparation for our stay, and all the intricate details and efforts she made to make our stay as relaxing, fun and candid as possible. The site is easy to find on the satnav, and the photos are extremely accurate. Ruth was a lovely host, and we will be back very soon!

# Glamping - to be tried for anyone who wants to set-up the holidays - raw location, kept as is to get u feel for cut off from city life - Glamping tent done it's perfection (though it's new addition to the campsite) Highly recommended for 1st time campers who don't overheads of camping gears & all the stuff to carry. We were a party of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids) and had the best time at Camp Elmwicke. Ruth was amazing and has skyrocketed up to the top of my favourite hosts ever. Everything was thought of... Beds, games, fairy lights, even a couple extras that I would tell you about, but I don't want to ruin the surprise!! We were able to get meat directly from her for the delicious BBQ we had and she marinated it to perfection. Honestly, I could go on and on about her... The tent was fabulous. The wood burned kept it nice and cozy. Outside you have plenty of space to yourself and if you wake up early enough, you may have a few sheep visitors nearby. The toilet tent was a major major bonus. No trekking to use the loo!! Around the campground, the girls were able to pick some blackberries and got the grounds tour to boot. The Gloucester cows were friendly and cool and the giant tractors kept the girls in awe. We will definitely come back!!!

Just back from the most amazing break. Jackie has impeccable taste and the annexe was so much more than we expected. Everything has been thought of. The cake, wine & breakfast basket were just the cherry on top. Please can you put in an oven so that we can come back on a longer break for our mini moon?! The beds are so comfy & the area so quiet, i slept like a log for the first time all year! (London life isn't quite as dreamy!) thank you Jackie for a perfect experience. If you are reading this to make a decision on whether or not to book, just book now! Dont waste any time.

Jackie & Ben's place is charming and they provide a warm welcome, which was gratefully received after a long journey. The accommodation is fantastic, very cosy beds, brilliant entertainment system and the Bulls Horn bar is a great touch. The local town is easily within walking distance but in a perfect location to make it feel rural, with some lovely short walks to take in - the walk to Gupshill Manor pub is about 0.5m and they serve great food. Recommended.

We had such a friendly welcome to The Barn. Beautifully presented accommodation and setting. Jackie is so thoughtful, was able to recommend places to go and left a fabulous breakfast box with was completely unexpected. Thank you for a lovely stay. We would definitely recommend booking here.

Spent 4 nights in in Jackies place (2 adults & 2 kids) and it was lovely. Please can you think about putting in an oven or hob (although my wife liked not being able to cook!)

Caroline is a delightil host. I booked very last minute and she was great with the communication. The place is exactly as described. A perfect retreat in the countryside but close enough to towns and beautiful sites to keep the most adventurous traveller occupied. Beautiful, bijou (but spacious for two), modern self-contained over garage conversion. Located in gorgeous rural location a few miles distant to Tewkesbury and Gloucester. Caroline was super helpful throughout. Definitely going on my list of favourite places to stop over.

A quiet, peaceful setting near the Cotswold. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped for our needs. Enjoyed our excursions in the area. Had a delicious pork tenderloin meal and salmon salad at The Great Grandfathers in Tewkesbury. The lavender fields and fragrance of Cotswold Lavender was incredible. Caroline's place is a gorgeous, well layed out, very clean and well equipped. Our check in was hugely delayed, Caroline stayed in touch and most kindly made up the sofa bed ready for us to make it easier. Great stay!

My wife and I had one night here while exploring the river Severn and surrounding towns. The place is really nice in great surroundings, you'll not be disappointed, modern and impeccably clean and heating works a treat. The property is very well proportioned and ideal. Caroline provided a nice welcome pack which was well received. Would love to come back and continue our explorations around this beautiful countryside.

We stayed here for one night on route from Cornwall to Northumberland. The spacious accommodation is on the top floor of the house (two bedrooms and a bathroom). The kitchen and living room areas are shared. It was ideal for us as we have a 5 year old daughter and there were plenty of toys and dress ups for her to enjoy and she had lots of fun playing in the garden too. Samantha, Craig and family were very friendly and welcoming. They even provided breakfast in the morning which we had not expected. A great stay.

We had a great time staying at Sam's place even though it's just for a night. It's a huge property with lots privacy and very well kept. It is just a short drive away if you're visiting Cotswolds. Well recommended!

Sam and Craig are really great hosts. They ensured that they spoke to us at odd hours and helped us to get to the house. They were not in the house but always made themselves available. They took special efforts to ensure we get to the house and also suggested bourton on the water which was a great place! The room is really cozy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend to stay here if you are looking for a country side place. Sam is very responsive to messages. She left us a personalised note which was really sweet! I wish I could meet them, but I am sure our paths will cross same day!

She was great at communication, once booked she sent an email immediately detailing directions, etc. She had a great book highlighting focal points of the area which was very helpful. The location was great. It was a really wonderful town and the cottage is centrally located. It was a great stay and I highly recommend.

This cottage in the heart of Tewkesbury is a dream come true! Fabulous location, beautiful cottage! We had everything we needed and Alex was a fantastic host!

We had a fantastic stay at Crescent Cottage. Alex was very helpful in her communications, which made our arrival and departure very easy. The cottage is in a great location right in the centre of Tewkesbury - from the terrace you can even see the Abbey! It is a beautiful cottage with lots of period features, making it very cosy. The terrace and barbecue were a real bonus!

Lovely place right in the centre of Tewkesbury. You can see the abbey from roof terrace and hear the bells. It's was a really smooth and easy experience. Alex was extremely accommodating leaving us a loaf of bread, milk and coffee. She even left toys, a travel cot, highchair, stair gates, baby monitor and baby dressing gown. Very nice touch. Fabulous cottage, spacious but cosy, really comfortable beds and sofas. Location quiet, but central enough for us not to have to drive at all, and could still easily access long country walks, abbey, shops, pub, cinema etc etc. Beautiful cottage, well equipped, lots of extra touches that were great. Great cottage in a perfect location - very close to centre of Tewkesbury and the river but tucked away so it felt quiet and private. Lovely garden for eating outside if you're lucky with the weather like we were!

We were in Tewkesbury for a wedding and spent two nights at Kathy's cottage. We had a really lovely time. The cottage is in a quiet side street, but very close to the town centre. We were able to park our car right outside the cottage, which was very convenient. The cottage is very cozy on the inside, with modern furniture that does not clash with the traditional character of the building. The kitchen is well-equipped and was more than sufficient for our needs. All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay – thanks, Kathy!

Wonderful place I would love to come back.

Abbey Cottage is absolutely beautiful and a very very comfortable place to stay. Thank you so much to Kathy for letting us stay in this fab home which is in a great location, tucked away behind the main street, just opposite the stunningly beautiful Tewkesbury Abbey. We really enjoyed strolling around the town which has everything you need from small independent traders and coffee houses to national brand supermarkets. We would definitely visit here again in the future as it is such a perfect spot. The riverside walks are stunning and the town steeped in history. The cottage is in such a perfect spot and made a very welcome place to return to after a day of sight seeing. Everything in the cottage was sparkly clean and really cosy. A brilliant time was had by all, thank you x

I chose this place to stay as a springboard to the Cheltenham Festival for my Dad and myself. Location was perfect and the accomodation was warm, cosy and quiet with plenty of places to eat close by after a tiring day of racing. Easy access to Cheltenham (we chose the bus which took about 20 mins to the centre of Cheltenham). Tewkesbury itself is lovely - we found time to walk along the river, grab coffee/hot chocolate, go for an Indian curry and visit the Abbey. Recommended stay.
