This was our second stay at Michal's appartament. The same great feeling.

Place was very nice. It is small, but it has all we need and all was in perfect order and clean. Bed also was good, we value that. As for the host, John which I communicated mostly with, he is very nice person. Very warm, friendly and helping. He makes us feel really comfortable.

I was disappointed with a few aspects of my stay. The communication was poor between host, and we were not sure how we were to get in the apartment when we arrived. I had messaged and received no response. We arrived and were unable to get in, luckily her husband came right as we were leaving and was able to let us in. After a long travel day we just wanted to rest... but her husband instantly said "you guys are young, you can help me get the room ready".. We then had to put sheets and the duvet on the bed, fold the towels, etc. Not that it was too hard, but when you have to pay a 30$ cleaning fee, the room should be clean and ready when you arrive, especially if it is at 8:30 at night. The apartment itself was fine, it had a slight smell. The airconditioner works well, and there is a kitchen. The bed was fine, and we had no problems finding parking for our car. I was disappointed with the cleanliness, especially when such a fee is charged.

Excellent space, perfect for our family of three. Clean and nice. Glad we had a car as that is really needed to get to the sites we visited from the studio. Wonderful welcome and hosts.

Very unique hidden gem in a majestic place of Jerusalem! Worth the price for an amazing view and privacy! This place made my kids and I feel right at home. John and Michal thank you for going out of your away with our requests and for giving us so much a warm welcome. I highly recommend this place!

Ein Karem is a nice little village on the outskirts of Jerusalem, with many nice restaurants and picturesque views. The cottage is located in a quiet area not far from the center of the village and is a very pleasant place to stay. It is as described in the listing page, and is very clean. If you are driving, it is not at all far from a parking garage from which you can access the light rail, so you have lots of choices for touring. It is a very good value.

a very nice place, good vibes and great atmosphere, pleasant and tranquil. the room is attached to the main house with a separate entrance with a balcony and a roof you can hang around in. a nice selection of cd's as well. enjoy :)

Hadas was a great host, very accommodating and communicative. The cottage was nestled into the hillside. Charming cottage and charming area to walk around and explore. No hustle and bustle here! Would stay here again.

It's the second we stay in this place and its the perfect stay for us for a great weekend in Jerusalem. 20 min drive to all the places we want to see in Jerusalem and then to come back to this little place of heaven to relax! Ein Karem is beautiful and Hadas' place also. We will for sure come again!

Hadas and her husband were really friendly and helpful. Especially helping us find the cottage. It is beautifully located in a small lane right in the centre of Ein Kerem. Fantastically located so within easy walking distance from all the restaurants and coffee shops and historic sites. It's easy to get into Jerusalem. The cottage is beautifully quirky and has everything one needs. The pleasure of drinking tea on the roof looking at the most amazing views is worth getting up for every morning! We will definitely be back!

A Great Time with Great Hosts in the beautiful Ein Karem. A wonderful space in an ancient stone house with a view of the valley and the golden domes of the Russian Church. In the lovely garden, all flowers and aromatic herbs, we were sipping tea and sharing stories. Thank you Hadas! Hope to come back soon.

I have enjoyed my stay. The appartment was spacious, clean, and well equiped. The owner, Ilana, is very nice and hospitable. The area is butiful and close to good resturants and best italian gelato (ice creame).

The host had listed their property with precision. They had prepared the space providing all of the basic necessities in the kitchen, including fresh milk. The shower room was spotless and stocked with sufficient bath towels and hand towels. We were also provided with a stock of shower gels, conditioner etc. What was most touching was that the host provided us with food throughout, particularly on the Sabbath. They were very sensitive to our privacy. We have known the area for many years. It is purported to be the birthplace of John the Baptist. The village is quite unique in Israel, set in a number of verdant wadis. It is the location of many churches, and monasteries, including the golden cupolas of a Russian Orthodox abbey set within a nunnery established before the Russian revolution.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place is quirky, clean, and literally steps away from the new addition to the Israel Trail. The hosts are helpful and accommodating. Thank you for everything!
