"Kaiwa no Sato" Our house is an indigo house built in the first year of culture (1804) during the ornate era of "indigo". The main house and bed (the barn that sleeps the indigo) have been demolished, but they have preserved the historic guest room and garden to be used as a farmhouse homestay. Once upon a time, "indigo" grew up in the fertile land of the lower Yoshino River in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing a lot of wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa clan). There is also an old cultural document about blue that you can see.Please enjoy the charm of the era and the blue. ＝＝＝＝ You can pick and eat four-season fruits and vegetables made in the adjacent fields. * Please enjoy as many figs as you like in the summer and autumn. Additional charge from 5,000yen per person During the heating period (around November), 2,000 yen is charged as heating fee. I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto This house used to be one big guest house, but since this Covid19, I have stopped running the guest house and I started to live here with my wife and 2 kids. However I didn't want to quit so I left the good part. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests.
