Gisella is what I would call the perfect host. Very easy to communicate with, always at disposal and extremely kind. I would recomend her place to anyone.

This place is a small gem! You get an exceptional opportunity to stay in a wonderful apartment with a balcony and an outstanding view to the beach, the sea and Etna in a small Sicilian village with a very few other tourists, and still in a reasonable driving distance to Catarnia, Etna, Siracusa and other exciting spots. Gisella is a welcoming host , who is happy to help you. She provided breakfast (cakes, muffins, coffee etc.) + towels for the beach free of charge. Nice! This is a perfect spot - only 30 meters from the sea - for a couple; eventually with 1-2 small children, who are looking for an exceptional experience, and still be in a reasonable distance to the tourist spots.

Gisella's place is a dream! Her and her daughter were so welcoming and kind and went above and beyond the expectations. The view and location is impossible to beat and the beach is perfect! We had an enhanced experience in Sicily because of this place and family!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet appartement avec terrasse ombragée vue sur la mer l Etna. La plage est propre, sans trop de monde et la baignade très agréable. Gisela met à disposition chaise de plage, parasol et serviettes de plage. Tout ce qu'il faut pour se détendre. Le soir, la promenade est animée avec une bonne ambiance familiale. On s y sent en sécurité. Il y a un snack bar (avec de supers granités.. ) et un restaurant tout proches. Deux soirs par semaine, il y a un petit marché de fruits et légumes et chaque matin le boulanger passe dans la rue. Le supermarché le plus proche est à 15 minutes. On est à 30 minutes de Catane. L appartement de Gisela est fonctionnel et agréable pour une famille de 4. La salle de bain a été refaite à neuf. Gisela et sa fille nous ont très bien accueillis. Nous avons apprécié les viennoiseries sicilienne pour les petits déjeuners 2 fois dans la semaine, et le ménage fait en milieu de séjour. Nous recommandons ce logement pour un séjour en bord de mer.

Séjour agréable et vue magnifique sur l'Etna depuis le logement face à la mer. Marchands de pain, poisson, fruits et légumes et glacier passent toute la journée en bas de l'appartement pour s'approvisionner. Attention pour les français: il faudra utiliser le bidet!

It has been a pleasure to stay in this house. Excellent location. And Vera as a host is very nice. She helped us a lot.

Almost everything was as described in the ad. Unfortunately, the sea was full of seaweed and the beach kept in an undesirable way, but I know that it does not depend on the host. The house is wide but unfortunately from midday it starts to heat up a lot and the night before going to sleep is an oven. We noticed the restaurant "Il Triangolo" which was our only negative culinary experience of the holiday !!! For the rest I would go back, but this time I would first ask for the air conditioner remote control and pay for any extra for the consumables.

We were very well received by Alaflai, a pleasant stay. the house is very clean and exactly matches the pictures, the place is nice, very close to the sea and the beach is wonderful.

Host personaly met us at the property to hand over the keys, they also left a number of bottles of mineral water, yogurts and etc in the fridge - which was nice touch. Property is located in a very secluded village right on the beach (30m from house doors). It is very quite and peaceful place (at least in November). House is quite specious and could easy accommodate large family. There is no internet - but it has it benefits, you could have a long conversations by dinner table rather than spending time on-line. Hire car is essential if you staying there, but it is located near motorway network or if you fancy not pay for motorways, you could use local roads network. For some house might prove to be very basic-but that is the beuty of it, everything simple, but functional. Pricing of the property is very competitive as well, we were expecting much more less for what we paid for our stay, it worth every pence you pay for your stay. Hosts are very responsive to calls or sms messages. And you could stay beyond check out time if property not booked for next guests.

A basic beach house and very quite area for this time of year. The house is basic and very big, compared to the pictures. Because we love the beach it was perfect located. Vera and her son were very friendly, helpful and gave us a warm welcome. Thanks for a nice and pleasant stay.

We had a great stay at Vera. The house is well situated for visits all over the west coast (Taormina, Catania, Syracuse ...). It is located in a small seaside resort, apparently quiet. This makes it easy to enjoy the beach, a few hundred meters from the house only. The beach is overlooking Etna ... The house itself is clean, faithful to the descriptions and photos of Vera. You really feel like you are in a family holiday home, you can see that there is life. All in all, I would recommend the Vera house for a pleasant stay in Sicily!

Staying at Nicoletta was very pleasant her family was always ready and very friendly, we felt very comfortable! The accommodation was clean and well equipped. The sea has been fantastic. It is a very quiet region to relax perfectly!

We were warmly welcomed by the owners with homemade biscuits and bottled water. The apartment was very clean. The balcony was huge and equipped with a barbeque. The beach was great and the sea temperature felt lukewarm to !. The town itself had one grocery store and one restaurant. We hauled the groceries at the Eurospin in Carlentini, this was approximately 10 min. Fro the apartment. In the evening there was life in the street. The owners live one floor below and were very warmly!

Hosts very kind and always available. Whatever they were always ready to help and to recommend what to do, visit, etc. House clean and tidy on arrival, everything is as described. I recommend to everyone.

L' appartamento è spazioso con una terrazza enorme e coperta dove poter cenare e rilassarsi. Anche una delle stanze da letto è davvero grande, noi ci abbiamo dormito in quattro più il bimbo piccolo e lasciato la stanza più piccola per i bagagli. La cucina non grandissima ma comoda per cucinare e il bagno pur non essendo ultra moderno è pulito e luminoso. I gentili proprietari che abitano al piano di sotto sanno essere discreti e calorosi al tempo stesso senza risultare invadenti e se serve sanno consigliati ed aiutarti. Agnone circa a metà strada tra Siracusa e Catania è risultata comodissima per gli spostamenti e le varie visite della costa orientale. La scelta di questo alloggio ha contribuito a rendere i ricordi di questa vacanza siciliana ancora più piacevole. Ci tornerei subito..

My husband and I decided to spend our honeymoon in Sicily, and we chose this apartment because of its location and the beautiful terrace (which is exactly as it looks on the pictures!). It was perfect! We took a lot of day trips to other locations in the area, especially Siracusa, Noto, Taormina, Etna... the small private beach is really beautiful and quiet, and the water there is very clean. The water at the nearby beach at Agnone Bagni is a bit dirty, unfortunately, but there are some nice bars and cafes along the Lungomare. Besides the private beach, we can also highly recommend the Lido di Noto and Calamosche beaches. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and comfortable and really well-equipped with respect to cooking & cleaning supplies. Great WiFi, too. Simona and Vincenzo are very friendly and attentive hosts who greeted us with a welcome surprise and even let us stay a bit longer than the original check out time because we had a late return flight. We've been to Italy many times, but this was our first trip to Sicily and it was exactly as beautiful as we expected! The apartment was perfect for us, and we're hoping to be able to go back there for an extended stay at some point.

Nice place, in a calm area, with nice beach just 3min walk. We wished we could have wifi, bit for 6 days, it was important to be disconnected from any devices and technology. Salvatore and his parents were very generous and always available. Thank you very much and we recommand!

Our group of friends had really wonderful experience at Letizia's home. It's situated right on the beach, in a private closed settle, so the beach is never crowdy. The house has everything you need for your stay, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, big fully equiped kitchen, spacious living room and dining room even with a small table with chairs for children! The garden facing the beach has barbeque facilities, a table with chairs, a sofa, armchairs and a sunbed. The sand beach is wide and the sea bottom is sandy without any stones, water is clean and clear enough to escape from jellyfishes, but you never can see all of them and meet them often on some days. Letizia and Daniele welcomed us warm, Daniele was very kind to wait for us extra hours as we were waiting in a long queue to rent the cars at the airport. Daniele was very helpful once again when we need his assistance despite it was after a midnight. The place is reachable only by car, you need a remote control to open the gate which closes the street, then another key to open another gate and finally the gate of the house. There is enough place to park two cars in front of the house. There is no public transport to this beach settle. We would like to thank our host Letizia once more for our wonderful stay and would like to come back! It's a perfect beach holiday if jellyfiches don't bother you:) with possibility to visit Catania, Taormina, Messina, vulcano Etna, Siracuse, Agrigento, Enna, Palermo and many other places of interest. Das Haus ist super schön, wir haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen. Das gesamte Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Letizia und ihre Freundin haben sich sehr lieb um uns gekümmert und waren sehr hilfsbereit. Wir können einen Aufenthalt dort nur weiter empfehlen.

The time we (two adults, two boys 16 & 5 yrs) have spent wonderful days in Casa Summer. The hosts are very, very nice people. They picked us up the first day, broght us to the house and sometimes wrote text messages to ask if everything is ok for us in the house. They recommended beautiful places to visit and organised a friend to go with a boat for fishing far from the beaches. The house is wonderfully simple, classic and clean. No unnecessary design, no IKEA style. The neighbourhood is neither particularly calm, nor disturbing. A Italian/Sizilian neighborhood. We always felt safe and protected. However: better to have a moto or a car, as the next supermarket is not in realistic waking distance. If your come with a rent a car, the garage and locked gate is a probably a plus, as you are advised at the airport that more or less usually somebody would damage or steel your car in Sicily - which is probably just silly, but - nevertheless - having a garage and a gate does not harm. The beach is clean, but some yellyfishes are there. Beatuiful to watch, not particularly dangerous, but somtimes we had a bit (!) of burning or itching after longer swims. The waves are rather high at the sandy beach, therefore the sand is often troubled and the water not as cristal clear as you will find it elsewhere in Sicily (at rocky coasts or particulary calm bays). However: we went swimming with the kids every day and enjoyed every second of our stay. Brilliant place. Thanks a lot!

Fantastic stay for those who appreciate the proximity to the sea, the beach, a comfortable home in a cool climate. Fireplace in the cooler evening in late February proved to be twice :) Uprzyjemniło us two rainy nights. Everything is like in the pictures, with one exception - Mount Etna is more visible than the picture :) Antonio helpful when you need is for me a huge plus for the organization of friends for a child car seat, which rent for the week was more expensive than the same time a week rent a car (!) Thanks Antonio! We arrived on a Sunday, Antonio prepared for us a couple of products to eat. Plus the choice of ingredients from organic bio! It also moved me :) Generally, this is the place for the homesick even before departure, not to mention the longing .. A place to which indiscriminately want to come back. The nearest store is 10 minutes by car. You have to have the car on the spot. It is a landline phone. There is no wifi, which also adds charm to the place (for me the charm of this I discovered after two days detoxu: p). I think Antonio is so welcoming to all guests, so I will not reveal the details of nice gestures, which is preparing for them. It is good to have such a person in the vicinity, if you need a doctor, for example, or information about the event organized in the area, which we do not need to know. From the equipment, everything is provided: towels, soap, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, coffee, tea, sugar, etc. Practically, nice and fantastic sea view. No house in the area is not so beautifully captured "fence" of glass, like this. From the kitchen, living room and terrace, sea visible and at your fingertips. Morning coffee on the beach is a lux without effort. Or yoga! Do you walk along the sea with views of the volcano ... oh ... In a word: I recommend.

Our stay in the house of Antonio was a great experience. The house itself was perfectly clean and very beautiful. The best thing, however, is the beautiful sand beach right behind the garden (you can access it via a small gate from the garden). Antonio, the son of Maria, was very friendly and helpful. He made us feel very welcome with a nice introduction into the house and supermarkets in the area. He even prepared a basket with local fruits for us. I can only recommend this accomodation!

Casa summer was a real paradise. And also Antonio is the perfect host! We had a great time with the children and would recommand this beautiful house at the sea to everyone!

Villa Sicels is is a very beautiful, elegant villa aligned with every comfort, in a quiet and safe place. The sandy beach, which is only used by the inhabitants of this communities, can be reached after a short Spaziergang.Das water is very inviting and pleasant warm.The description of the house is detailed and absolutely true. There is also much to see in the area. The owners, Fiona and Francesco are very loving and caring, and always responds immediately to our messages. We had a very warm welcome with a varied dinner. Giovanna, the hostess, was very nice, helpful and was always available if we had any questions or problems. We, 8 persons (6 adults, 2 children), had had a very nice time here and this house would recommend. Many thanks to Fiona, Francesco and Giovanna!

Wow! This was my first impression when we approached the villa through the automated iron gates. This a beautiful and sympathetically restored Sicilian villa, which is very impressive indeed. Inside the villa there is a lot of space, which gives it a light and airy feel. There are 3 floors all in all; the ground floor contains the dinning hall and lounge area with an open fire, a study off the dinning hall and a further bathroom on the ground floor. The middle floor contains the 3 bedrooms; White, Green and Yellow, all beautifully furnished and mattresses to suit all tastes. There is also a bathroom and a lovely modern kitchen dining room. On the third floor there is a spectacular covered roof top terrace which is huge. The grounds are also lovely with tables and chairs dotted about so that there is always somewhere new to relax. Giovanna, the local host, was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, and Fiona and Francesco were superb during the entire process.

Beautiful house walking distance from the beach. In secluded residential neighborhood. Giovanna, who works with the host Fiona, lives a few houses down, and was wonderful - she met us as we arrived, gave us a tour of the house, and even had some homemade pasta and wine waiting for dinner (which we ate ALL of)! She was responsive during the week as well when we had questions. A wonderful stay!

consistent Housing description, within a gated by a gate + gate of the house. 200m sandy beach. Very quiet in this season (from April 6 to April 13) - no nuisance. Good location for many visits (Syracuse, Catania, Etna, taormina, notto, Modica, Ragusa ...) The shops are about 10 minutes by car. The equipment of the house is simple but adequate for 1 week, the price is interesting. Giovanni thank you.

Giovanni was very friendly, as was his family. The villa was clean and close to the beach and other places of interest. Ample size fridge freezer, outside dining. Good communications all round.

Giovanni was great host. He don't speak english, but his son does, so we haven't problems to communicate. There is beach around 100m from his flat. House was fully furnished. The only disadvaneges were moskitos.

lovely hosts, they waited late into the night to welcome us. The apartment fits the description, simple but functional equipment. Very well located just steps from the sea and close to places to visit. We spent 5 days with our daughter 18 months, Giovanni and his wife had set us a cot and high chair. We recommend it !!!

We had when booking stated that we wanted to celebrate our 25 yr wedding with our family, on arrival there was a bottle bubbly cold in the refrigerator. Very thoughtful. The description and photos of the house were accurate and the owners were very friendly and helpful, they spoke only not so good English but with hands and feet we got there and there was a neat list of tips ready.

We were very well received by Giovani and his wife. Housing is consistent with the description and location for a beach holiday As against it deserves to be better heated for winter stays. We recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay at Fabio's apartment! It had all of the modern conveniences of home strategically located on a coastal bluff in Southeastern Sicily with a magnificent view overlooking the sea, Mt. Etna, and the twinkling night-time city lights of Catania. One of our magnanimous hosts, Federico, greeted us at the apartment and presented us with a nice welcome basket consisting of wine, pasta, sauce, olive oil, basil, and bread; which was very thoughtful and much appreciated as it supplied us with the materials for a home-cooked meal after a long flight until we could shop the local supermarket. He also provided us with a quick tour of the apartment and its amenities; as well as recommendations for wine tours/tastings in the area. The apartment is very nicely decorated with modern furniture and appliances, a fully equipped kitchen, fast wi-fi, washer/dryer, and (most importantly) a memory foam mattress in the master bedroom (providing the best night's sleep during our 2 weeks in Sicily.) The apartment is located in a small, quaint, safe and gated residential village with easy access by car. We had a rental car, which is highly recommended when staying here as public transportation seemed to be minimal. The apartment has free parking in the adjoining private courtyard. The very roomy main terrace balcony was a favorite place to enjoy the view during morning coffee or romantic evening dinners. There is ample storage throughout the apartment and the second bedroom has its own separate private balcony. There is also access through the compound to a semi-private pebble beach that is about a 10 minute walk from the apartment via a picturesque and paved walkway down the main village street, underneath a train trestle, then continuing downhill on a sidewalk path/steps until you arrive at the sea below. The water is clean, calm and very inviting; but was too cold to swim in during October. The apartment is a short 25 minute drive to Siracusa's Archaeological Park (with the Greek Theater, Roman Amphitheater, Ear of Dionysius, etc.) and the old city center island of Ortegia with its ruins and impressive architecture. It is also a 20 minute drive south of the Catania airport (with minimal traffic congestion as the main city traffic is on the other side of the airport), a 30 minute drive to downtown Catania (Mt. Etna cable car tour, fish market and Roman Amphitheater highly recommended), and about an hour drive (via mostly Autostrada/Motorway) to the inland medieval city of Enna with its castle and epic inland island views, or to the resort of Taormina just north of Catania. Also close by (15 minutes) on the way to Siracusa is the coastal fishing village of Brucoli, with its Norman castle and lovely restaurants. In summary, if you have a rental car or private transportation, this apartment is THE place to stay in this area!

We had a great time! Home Fabio is very comfortable and well appointed. C 'is all it takes and the services appear to be very efficient (laundry, very large shower, tub). We enjoyed the opportunity to listen to music watching the sea during 'aperitif on the terrace! The position is strategic in our opinion .... near the main road from Catania to Syracuse but at 500 meters from the sea. L 'access to the sea is connected with a very nice little road at sunset. Worth the walk !!! Fabio and Federico were very kind and helpful. In this apartment you will feel immediately at home. Highly recommended !!!!

Excellent apartment! Very recommended! In real life it looks even better than the photo. Large space, all modern, clean and comfortable. Lovely terrace. And a good starting point for trips around the island.

really enjoy living here, but u need rent a car, remember to bringsome food to cook here, there is not many restaurant to choose,but all kinds of cook tools for u. after open the heating system, the temperature rise to 20 degree tops, so still need to wear warm at home

This is the best place I have ever rented via AirBnB. Lovely flat, everything you need in it. When my daughter (19) saw it first she said: I want this place to stay in for ever. And that describes our feelings perfectly. Hosts are very accommodating and helpful. The only down side is the distance to restaurants and shops and thus the absolute need to have a car .... but I knew it from previous comments and the hosts were very helpful giving explanations on where to find them.

Not much to say: the apartment of Fabio and Federico is really beautiful and they were always available and present for our every need and request. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, as well as the lounge, the kitchen (functional and rich for every need) and spacious balcony. The bathroom, with large shower and whirlpool bath, then it is the icing on the cake. Truly a welcoming space, which made them feel at home there, so much so that one evening we decided to make us a fish dinner and eat at home. The only inconvenience - however relative having the car - it was the location that required displacement of at least 30 minutes for points of interest. Conversely, the presence of the quiet private beach was a fantastic surprise. The added value, then, are Fabio and Federico, present and available for our every need, tips rich, but never intrusive. Really excellent guest. In short, an apartment that we feel strongly advise
