  • The tractor shed is perfect. The pictures don’t do it justice! It’s amazing, sparkling clean and cosy. The hot tub and the log burner with the view over the Loch was the icing on the cake. Will definitely be coming back.

  • The Tractor Shed is breath taking in person! We stayed for 3 nights in Jan and the views were amazing! Inside beat our expectations, spotlessly clean and much bigger floor plan than expected! Relaxing hot tub which we enjoyed all times of the day/night - so much privacy, very secluded! Towns/Villages to sight see or eat are within minutes! Everything we could have wanted! Thanks so much!

    Georgina2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you so so much to Nina for the amazing stay in Acharn. The property was just GORGEOUS. The Tractor Shed is the perfect place to escape to for a relaxing and peaceful trip. The property was immaculate, decorated beautifully, full of everything you would need and views to die for. The hottub was a brilliant feature too. The hosts went that extra mile, leaving a book of tips for whats nearby etc. I can't wait to return to this lovely lovely place. 5 out of 5!

  • Owl House was everything and more than we expected and we had the best couple of days relaxing and escaping from reality. Chris and Janet were so helpful and the lovely personal touches made our stay complete. We would absolutely recommend this house as a fantastic getaway in a beautiful setting.

    Christina2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had an excellent time staying at The Owl House. Chris and Janet did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. The welcome guide was very helpful in giving us recommendations for dog friendly restaurants and local sights as well as great scenic walking routes around the countryside. One of our best moments there was watching the birds peck away at the fat balls outside in the snow as we were eating breakfast with the wood burning stove on and feeling very cosy. Would highly rate The Owl House to anyone wanting a weekend away. Amazing view, great hosts and excellent cottage.

    Jackson2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • What a great find! Such a beautiful and cozy space, we loved every moment!

  • Such an idyllic little cottage in beautiful surroundings. Ideal for a getaway from it all break. Aberfeldy is just a short distance away, and you’re surrounded by great walks and scenery. The cottage is amazing - clean, cozy and warm - with some lovely touches. We loved chilling by the log burner watching the birds in the morning. Will definitely be back!!

Stella is a 1973 Airstream. Your Hosts Niki and Nir have lovingly restored her bringing her in to the 21st century. Situated in their organic gardens, but tucked away from the main house. Located in the stunning countryside of Highland Perthshire with an abundance of outdoor pursuits on your doorstep to enjoy. Or you might just like to wind the days away relaxing in the hot-tub chilling out.
Offering all the best of Scotland, there is something for all ages and interests here whether you seek adventure, cultural stimulation, wildlife, or well-being. The nearest town Aberfeldy is Scotland's first Fairtrade town and retailers and attractions throughout the area do their best to promote Fairtrade, organic and environmentally friendly products. Just six miles west of the town, Loch Tay is the largest loch in Perthshire, framed by majestic mountains and hillside farms and cottages. As well as being the popular playground of sailors and watersports enthusiasts. Nearby to the north, Glen Lyon is often described as the longest, and loveliest glen in Scotland, and has a wonderfully mystical atmosphere.
  • Amazing place to stay. Great escape from the grind with stunning views and wonderful facilities

    Jamie2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying here! Beautiful location and the hottub was amazing!

    Allana2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely beautiful little place. Easy to find and the interior of the Airstream was even nicer and more spacious than the pictures suggest. The hot tub was warm on arrival and the outside area has a lovely vibe to it. Only a 5 minute drive to Aberfeldy where there are some nice cafes and a shop. I cannot recommend enough.

    Jordan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Stella is a perfect getaway for anyone who wants to step away from a busier Scottish city. It has all the wee things that you’d like in an Airbnb but has a massive selling point in a hot tub with a beautiful view of Scottish hills.

    Calum2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing place and space to escape from the world for a few days or longer. Stella has been restored to a new found glory and is full of all the modern facilities and equipment to make the stay feel like a home from home. The bed is such a comfortable and cosy place to retreat to after a relaxing hour in the hottub. The area surrounding Stella is remote and peaceful, yet the town nearby is only a walk or drive away. The highlight for us, was whilst out walking in the woods behind Stella we encountered the wild deer that roam the countryside.

    Steven2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had a perfect weekend in Stella, and would of happily stayed longer. We never actually met our hosts Niki and Nir but the communication before and during our stay was impeccable. Stella is a beautiful gem and we have already looking at a return trip. Storm Dennis did force us to change our plans but Stella keep us in luxurious comfort. Thank you for having us

    Sam2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great space, hot tub is lovely and spectacular views. Will definitely be back.

    Tracy2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Can’t thank you enough for such an amazing stay. From the photos we already knew it was exactly what we were looking for for a quiet, relaxing few days away. Everything was absolutely spotless and very well presented and the hot tub was just superb. There was everything we needed and more - cosy blankets, a great little coffee machine, the kitchen cupboards and drawers were so well stocked with everything we needed as well. Excellent communication and directions and also info about local walks and amenities. Can’t thank you enough and would highly recommend for anyone looking for some peace and quiet and to get away to relax, or anyone who loves to be close to amazing scenery and walks. Thank you again! • Such an amazing week at Oyster. I couldn’t recommend this house more to anyone wanting to relax and explore Loch Tay. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed the evening sun coming in the floor to ceiling windows and dinner on the balcony. The hot tub added something very special and in such a beautiful location. The pictures don’t do this house justice. The house is in a very secluded location and has amazing views over the loch with the sun setting just over the hill in front of the property. Thanks again, we will definitely be visiting again.

Pier View Annex is the perfect place for fishing walking, cycling, canoeing, golf, exploring the surrounding countryside, to escape and unwind. There is an outdoor games box available. The Cranog centre at Kenmore is within easy reach. We have a Japanese garden where you can spend a quiet moment. The beach at the loch front has a fire pit which is great for toasting marshmallows. Although we live in Aberfeldy we spend most of our time at Fearnan and are contactable by phone at all times
There are many Munro hills in the area and Fearnan will be part of the Heartland 200 tourist route. It is also very close to the etap cycle route
  • My husband and I spent a long weekend and we really enjoyed the calm and the beauty of the surroundings. The view is just amazing and the annex is fully equipped with everything you might need and a little more. There are lots of games and books to relax and have fun, we even played darts by the Japanese garden. Everything was sparkling clean! Would definitely recommend!

My little house is unashamedly furnished as a country cottage. It is light and bright and colourful. Aimed at lifting your spirits and immersing you straight into nature. Our area, the Heart of Scotland, embodies all that is beautiful in Scotland - mountains, moors, rivers, lochs, woodlands and waterfalls. Here you can walk, golf, canoe, cycle, swim and climb hills in the fresh, clear air surrounded by nature. Scientist have proven the many health benefits of being in and exercising in nature.
The houses is situated in the middle of Scotland and as a base is ideal for exploring the whole of Scotland. The main cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Aberdeen - all can be reached from here in one day. This is an ideal base amid stunning and soul-lifting scenery. The house has all the amenities for a comfortable stay and our area is steeped in history, whisky distilleries, fishing, golfing, canoeing, hillwalking and Munro bagging.
Places to Go 1 Castle Menzies – is it haunted? Many people swear they have seen ghosts within its walls. 2 Dewar’s Distillery – the opportunity to see how one of Scotland’s finest whiskies is made and matured. 3 The Crannog at Kenmore – experience how our ancestor’s lived 2000 – 3000 years ago. 4 Acharn Falls – a spectacular flow of water after rain leading to the Queen’s Route where Queen Victoria rode when visiting Taymouth Castle in 1823. Now a circular walk along the hillside to the road from Amulree to Kenmore. 5 Black Watch Memorial. The Black Watch regiment was raised on the banks of the River Tay. It became a body of men that was admired and feared all over the world. But the men of the regiment were betrayed. We are at the east end of Loch Tay, Highland Perthshire, in a converted Victorian schoolhouse in the peaceful village of Acharn, less than 2 miles from Kenmore. The building can be cold in winter but is fine in summer. Some of the best walking and hills in the country are on our door step. Acharn is on National Cycle Route 7 and the Rob Roy Way and we are an excellent overnight stay or base to explore from for cycle tourists and walkers. Fishing and boating are also available in the area.
The room is on the first floor of the house; it is simple and comfortable with a double bed, chest of drawers, full book shelves and view out over the wooded burn by the house.
We are on the edge of a small picturesque village, Acharn, that sits on the south shore of Loch Tay. This is a stunningly beautiful area, at any time of year - but particularly in late spring and autumn. There is a famous scenic walk in the village, to a very dramatic waterfall, with a Hermits cave viewing platform, but the area is full of history and stunning landscapes. One mile along the road there is the Scottish Crannog Centre, open April to October, a 5 star visitor attraction based around a reconstruction of an early Iron Age loch dwelling; nearby Kenmore is a picturesque village, and nearest town Aberfeldy has much to visit - Castle Menzies, Dewars World of Whisky, the Birks of Aberfeldy walk and the beautiful Birks Cinema. There are many archeological sites - stone circles, cup marked stones, ancient forts if that interests; wildlife; lovely woodlands; open moor. boat hire is available in Kenmore if guests would like to explore Loch Tay.
  • Very nice and helpful hosts, do not hesitate to ask them for information on local addresses. Magical location in the countryside, absolute tranquility. Beautiful house and room on the floor very cozy.

  • A very interesting place. What is there not to like about a host who makes chocolate.

    Palfreyman2018-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • The house of Charlotte and Adam, a former school, is really charming and typically Scottish. It is located on the shores of Loch Tay one of the most beautiful we have visited in Scotland. From the house a hike provides access to waterfalls and a cave. It's really charming. The room is big, a little cold but with a good duvet it goes very well for the night, and has shutters (it's quite rare in Scotland to be raised). The welcome of Charlotte and Adam is perfect! Happy hosts to receive and exchange who open their kitchen and willingly share their advice. In short, a highly recommended address!

    Marlene2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Adam and Charlotte are very hospitable, friendly. Know very well their region give good addresses .... with more tea, coffee and exceptional chocolate!

  • We had a great stay at Charlotte and Adams old school house. We were cycling on route 7 and found this a great place to stop. It was easy arriving and storing the bikes and after a day on the bikes the shower was amazing! The house was really comfy and we were made to feel very welcome - Charlotte and Adam are great company.

  • The cottage is divine, small but perfectly formed and Annie has taken great care to decorate it and add touches that make you feel instantly at home. We had a fabulous stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The surroundings are stunning, we enjoyed long walks in Glen Lyon and around Taymouth Castle, spotting plenty of wildlife and were always so happy to come back to this cozy home, light a fire and just kick back. We cannot recommend it enough, really.

    Evelien2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was perfectly placed in the mountains and close to hiking trails. It’s a beautiful cottage with all modern amenities and spotless. We had a great time with roaring fires at night and sightseeing and hiking during the day. The kitchen was complete with everything to cook full meals and a separate dining room in the conservatory. The beds were super comfortable. Thank you Annie for all your hints and treats and a superb stay !

  • Glencroft Cottage was booked by me for my wife and her sister for 9 nights in November 2019 for my wife’s birthday to spend time together and enjoy the Perthshire country side. This is my wife’s review of Annie’s place: We knew we were going to love Annie’s place the moment we discovered it on AirBnB and saw the photographs – it is tastefully and elegantly decorated and furnished in a really peaceful and quiet location just outside the village on the Glen Lyon road. The cottage more than met our expectations and we spent a really enjoyable and delightful 9 days here using it as a base to explore the area and take advantage of all the lovely different walks around and about with Hector my sister’s black Labrador who was thrilled with the all the new interesting spaces we explored especially as he met a red squirrel for the first time on our walk to the Falls of Acharn. If you are a keen walker do make use of the Walk Highlands website – you will find it on Google. Perfectly equipped for self-catering we dined in every night making use of the log burning stove in the dining room and the cosy open fire place in the sitting room. Annie is a responsive and generous hostess answering our queries promptly prior to our arrival and during our time there. We have no hesitation in recommending Annie’s place – thank you so much for sharing it with us. Jane, Sarah & Hector

  • We had such a lovely relaxing time. It was the little touches that made this house so lovely. The kids immediately made the house their own, making a den of cushions in the window area of their room for reading..... We loved the open fires and the dining room doubled as a boardgames room for us....We ate in a lot and the house lent itself to this style of break brilliantly. All in all a wonderful time was had by Team Boyle.

    Aileen2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Annie has done an amazing job designing this amazing cottage. Lots of little areas in the cottage to continuously discover something new. Thoughtful touches and exquisite taste in a picturesque setting. You will not be disappointed. Very clean, comfy sheets and even sky tv for watching a movies. Everything is modern and placed logically where it should be so you won’t be wondering were to find spoons in the kitchen.... Brilliant!

  • Annie is a very nice hostess. Welcoming, sympathetically helpful and has sufficient knowledge of the environment to give great tips. Is always ready for you and responds quickly. The cottage is great and fully equipped. The cottage has many nice rooms, so you have a different place to sit for every moment of the day. We will gladly return.

  • We have just spent a lovely weekend at Taymore Lodge. There were 8 of us in total (6 adults and 2 young children) and the place was perfect for our group. The large open plan living area is so beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The wood burning stove was so warming on a winter's evening. The accommodation was very clean and the kitchen very well equipped. We arrived to find a bottle of prosecco waiting for us which was a very nice touch! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Taymore lodge to friends, it was the perfect place for a relaxed weekend with friends. Thank you Alan for being a great host.

  • We had a fantastic weekend staying at Taymore Lodge. The space is beautifully designed and furnished, was spotlessly clean and we instantly felt at home. From the delicious welcome basket of shortbread, hot chocolate and Prosecco, to the beautiful bar cabinet (that we thoroughly enjoyed using to make cocktails), every thoughtful touch was highly appreciated. Nicola and Alan were very helpful and fast to answer any queries we had and check in using the lock box couldn’t have been smoother. We were truly sad to have to leave this heavenly retreat but can’t wait to return.

Christine was very quick with responses and met as when we arrived to show us in. The breakfast provided was amazing. We loved our short stay and would happily come back again to stay for longer. Thanks!

Christine has literally thought of everything, and we really appreciated her professionalism, the personal touches, and the cleanliness and comfort of her space. It was great having the little sitting room for breakfast and relaxing. And Dull is a great springboard for the rest of the region!

Birchwood Lodge is a log cabin just above the banks of Loch Tay and in the shadow of the Ben Lawers range of Munros, in Highland Perthshire. It features an open plan design with under floor heating. There's a comfortable double bed, shower, private hot tub & sauna, gas BBQ, free wifi, DVD player, Sky TV with movies and sports & SONOS music system piped throughout. We have a private beach with a gazebo (shared only when we are at our holiday house), and a Canadian Canoe available for guests.
Please note - the steep stairs in the living area photo lead to an unused mezzanine area, not needed for access to any area.
  • This cabin is everything you'd want for a weekend away. The cabin is cozy and clean. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, and enjoyed the patio even though the weather was not the best for that. The kitchen at the cabin is fully equipped and we were supplied with a binder full of information on all the local pubs and shops. We ended up having a great weekend here. Definitely recommended!

  • Nice cosy lodge with a lovely hottub. Hopefully get to visit again soon!

    Doug2019-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great Lodge with amazing amenities throughout. The Hot Tub & Sauna were perfect for a relaxing few days. One minor issue with the Hot Tub was immediately rectified by Alisons local maintenance man. Looking forward to returning. Thanks again Alison

  • Beautiful accommodation, lovely surroundings. Hot tub is lovely and relaxing! View at the Loch is outstanding, we weren't brave enough in the cold to go out in the canoes but we hope to be back during the warmer weather! Definitely recommend Birchwood!

    Jennifer2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Superb, amazing part of the country and a great base to explore. I could have stayed there for two weeks !

    Craig2019-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for a nice relaxing few days away, log cabin is great, loved the hot tub. Would definitely go back again

    Barry2019-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • We've just come home from a wonderfully relaxing weekend on Loch Tay. Alison presents a very accurate picture of a stunning cabin on the shores of the loch, only 20 minutes from Aberfeldy or Killin. Should you arrive with supplies for the weekend there's no need to leave as the cabin provides ample opportunities to relax - in the hot tub, the sauna or in the lochside gazebo. There was a slight hiccup during check in but Alison was communicative from the get go and this was quickly sorted. Most importantly though - we would definitely go back!

  • A perfect spot for outdoor pursuits & indoor fun in the ping pong barn! Beautiful cottage in an amazing location. Jeanette & Guy are excellent hosts!

    Julie2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Guy and Jeanette were exceptional hosts. Communication was regular and clear, with Jeanette occasionally checking in via messages to see if we had arrived safely and were enjoying ourselves. The cottage was spotless and the activities such as table tennis and darts were a pleasant bonus, and the view available both during the day and at night were outstanding, with facilities easily accessible both in Killin and Kenmore a few miles either side of the cottage. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rock Cottage and would be delighted to return in the near future. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to get away for a few day. Can’t thank Jeanette and Guy enough!

    Liam2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • An idyllic cottage in breathtaking surroundings. Guy and Jeanette are friendly and generous hosts. The cottage is spacious, tasteful and comfortable, and a delight for little children. The beach offered hours of fun for our little people, and there is so much to do in the surrounding area. We hope to come again some time soon!

  • This is a fantastic cottage to stay at, tucked away in the tranquil small hamlet of Fearnan with beautiful views of Loch Tay and the Mountains. The cottage has plenty to offer inside and out, a great sunroom looking over the Loch and mountains is wonderful. It has a very large kitchen diner great for social cooking and playing board games. The bedrooms are comfortable and cosy, and the lounge is great to sit by the wood burning stove when it gets cold. Having a shower and toilet on the ground and upstairs floors is very useful. It's such a great place to stay with lots to explore, we will definitely be back again next year.

Secluded cottage in Highland Perthshire near the entrance to Glen Lyon. Designed specifically for couples. Perfect destination to relax and unwind or explore this beautiful part of Scotland.
  • The stay was unbelievably unique and surprised us very positively. It is a lovely cottage in the heart of Perthshire and beautifully decorated. The communication was excellent.

  • Great house. All very clean and tidy. Lovely and warm to come back to and relax. The bed was comfy, the dower had decent pressure and we had no problem with WiFi. Make sure you get shopping before you go as nearest shop is quite far.

  • We had a brilliant stay at this charming cottage! It is a lovely location that feels secluded but it still easy to get to the hills and nearby villages. Perfect if you want to explore the surrounding mountains. We will be booking a return trip!

  • This was our third time staying at Mark’s cottage and we’ll definitely be back. It’s the perfect getaway. The cottage is really cosy and has everything you need. It’s a great base to go hillwalking, close to Schiehallion and Ben Lawers. There are lots of wildlife to see from the doorstep, deer, red squirrels, pheasants etc. Love it!

Our favourite find on Airbnb yet, our friends and family and eager to visit and we would love to come back! We enjoyed a drive around Lock Tey and a walk to Teymouth Castle during our stay, enchanted by the peaceful surroundings, couldn’t fault it!

  • This location is perfect for a getaway, as peaceful and relaxing as you could ask for. Surprising amenities (heated bathroom floors!!!) and beautiful vistas send this place over the top.

    Jon2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Simply stunning. The boathouse and its location were out of this world - the best place we've ever stayed in terms of 'wow factor'. Our only regret is that we weren't there longer. Will will definitely return.

    Simon2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an amazing week at Dipper (I'm scared to say how good it is as I don't want other people to find out about it!). The place was really clean, there was everything you could need and the views are beautiful! We were aware that there were 3 boathouses in total - Dipper is the leftmost but even the closest of the other boathouses was out of sight in summer. There was more space than it appears in the photos (with a completely empty mezzanine, utility room and large bathroom). Nina was a great host and was quick to respond to any messages. We didn't want to leave and would most definitely return again in the future!

    Lisa2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and view

    WenBo2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most amazing relaxing break at Dipper. The boathouse is spotless and stunning and views are absolutely breathtaking! We will most definitely return.

    Kara2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Dipper was amazing! The location and views are breathtaking. The stylish interior with home comforts made our stay very comfortable. The log burner was magical in the evenings and the views from every window was picturesque. We were lucky enough to see Red Squirrels, deer, a variety of wild birds and even cows came down to the loch edge to drink. We will definitely be back!

  • The stay at Sky Cottage was unbelievable. The views over the Loch with the evening sun shining when we arrived was unbelievable. The cottage was beautifully furnished and had every equipment in the kitchen we could possibly need. The fireplace is super easy to use and made the stay even more comfortable. It was super clean. Would definitely come back for longer. Thank you Nina and Gregg !

  • Great stay in Nina's place. Very clean and organised with a fully equipped kitchen. We had a small issue with the sink plug but this was very quickly rectified by Nina on the same day, thank you so much! Amazing place in winter, would love to return in the summer too!

  • We had the perfect winter weekend away at Sky Cottage. The cottage was incredibly well equipped, homely and cosy. We were not prepared for the view from the cottage to be so stunning - it was really special! Loch Tay and Sky Cottage will now always have a special place in our hearts as my partner proposed here over the weekend, with the loch as his backdrop!

Our cosy 4 bed country cottage is set back off the main road overlooking the Taymouth Castle Golf Course and the stunning village of Kenmore, which is on the banks of Loch Tay. It comfortably sleeps up to 6 adults and 2 children with access to local amenities and family friendly activities. This area is also ideal for walking and cycling.
Our cosy Estate Cottage has 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and a family space upstairs. Please note the family space is best suited to 2 adults and 2 children as the twin bedroom upstairs is accessed through the double bedroom. There is also an open plan bathing area in this space.
Kenmore is a small village in Perthshire, which is a popular centre for activities on Loch Tay. This beautiful village is at the northern end of the14-mile long Loch Tay. It's great for activities on and around the Loch itself, such as sailing, canoeing, water-skiing, jet-biking, or for the more leisurely, fishing or golfing! There's a couple of local Hotels and The Courtyard restaurant, so plenty choice for eating out. And if you're looking to buy gifts or great fresh local produce, pop into The Courtyard shop. The main attraction is the Scottish Crannog Centre, one of the country's top heritage sites where you can discover what life was like over 2500 years ago! This reconstructed thatched wooden house is built on stilts over the water, with a gangway that would have been lifted up in the event of danger. - from VisitScotland.com
  • This was our second visit to Carlo’s cottage. Excellent location, great space and Carlo is really helpful with fast responses. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thanks

    Jillian2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed last year at Carlo's place in Kenmore and didn't hesitate to rebook again for this year. It is a lovely cottage, very comfortable and warm. We had everything we needed and the space is perfect for 4 adults each having their own room. The double duvets on single beds are a nice touch, and the shower has good pressure and hot! The location is perfect, not too far to walk into Kenmore but isolated enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. We saw deer every morning and listening to the owls at night Just wonderful.

    Suzanna2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The location of this house is wonderful. The house itself is comfortable and with the log fire, very cosy!

    Jesse2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • We love Loch Tay and wanted to share our love with our family and so arranged a surprise stay for my brother & his family for this 40th. The kids loved the space so much. There was lots of place for them to play inside and out. It was great that they could stay in the conservatory to draw on the blackboard and play board games whilst we adults could enjoy a chat and a wee glass of wine round the fire. Conservatory obviously pretty cold in winter so bring your slippers & hoodies but nothing better than sitting round the fire playing charades! :) The house was surprisingly well stocked with everything you could need and felt really homely. My husband enjoyed morning runs in the surrounding countryside and Kenmore is walkable distance for a play park, shop, restaurant and other amenities (as is the Crannog!). We had a great time and are already considering coming back again together next year now that my family also share our love for the beautiful Loch Tay :)

    Monica2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Carlo’s apartment is perfect for a weekend a way with the family, close to some really nice walks and in a quiet area.

    Sarah2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place and easy to find. Location was superb, great scenery and walking distance to Kenmore. House was cosy and well equipped. Couldn't fault anything. Highly recommended getaway

    Alex2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great cottage in a fab location. It was the perfect size for 4 adults & 4 children. Very well equipped for our needs. The kids found the bath in the upstairs bedroom to be a great novelty (I’ve never seen them want to get in the bath so quickly!!) Washing machine & tumble dryer in the garage was an added bonus after being out exploring. Kenmore was about a 15 min walk away with some amazing views on the way.

    Emily2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Carlo’s place was amazing. So cozy but spacious for my family of 6! The sunroom had the most spectacular view. He had great recommendations for what to do and where to eat. He was so responsive and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

  • We had a wonderful weekend at the bothy. Ian and Gill were great hosts and made us feel welcome. The bothy had everything we needed, the covered patio is brilliant and doubles the size of the space! The pictures online don't do the space justice! Location was perfect for us, surrounded by beautiful countryside yet accesible to local towns, we walked to Aberfeldy along the riverside with our dogs which was a lovely walk. Overall we can't recommend this place enough! :)

    Emma2019-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place to stay for a week's cycling in Perthshire. It is well-located for a number of different routes (it is on the Etape Caledonia route) and the Bothy has everything I needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. The kitchen has an oven/cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine and microwave. There were some thoughtful touches like teabags, sugar, laundry tablets and towels. Ian and Gill were great hosts and very responsive to any questions I had. Aberfeldy is very close by where you can buy any provisions required. Overall, can really recommend it.

    Brian2019-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for being a great host Ian. We had a wonderful comfortable stay in the bothy and so good to see Perthshire in the Autumn.

    Allan2018-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay. Nearby (5km) Aberfeldy is a great town with everything you need, and we enjoyed our walks / day trips in the surrounding area. You probably need a car to stay here.
