Art Gallery
“A nice gallery to visit with a good mix of contemporary and classic art pieces, the book store and cafe are great. Note: recently renovated and has re-opened! It's fantastic... The architecture is of high standard and the space is a joy to walk around. Newly added rooftop terrace which gives you some nice views over the city... Shame about about the new horrible development opposite which hides the Triple Kirk spire! Otherwise, really really good and definitely worth the visit. ”

Athletics & Sports
“Originally a separate Royal Burgh to Aberdeen itself, Old Aberdeen is today well-known as the home of the University of Aberdeen. Here you can find ancient buildings, beautiful and quaint streets, modern architecture and sculpture. There are parts of Old Aberdeen that feel more like other university towns, like Cambridge or Oxford. During term time, the presence of thousands of students gives the area a youthful and international feel.”
