Szarewood is a 19th-century cottage at the end of the road in the village of Szare, in a quiet area close to the forest, with a murmuring stream in the background. There are only two houses in the immediate vicinity, so you are more likely to meet roe deer and deer at the fence than people :) We arranged the house with early retirement in mind. However, life has changed our plans, so we want to give others a chance to feel the freedom that this place gives. If you are looking for peace and quiet and like contact with nature, this is the perfect place for you.

There are hiking trails nearby, e.g. to Rycerzowa. In the summer, in addition to mountain trips, the nearby Geo-Park Glinka is an interesting attraction.

To save money on hotels, I renovated in 2012 the second apartment in the basement of our house to offer accommodation to artists and performers coming to Stanica & Nová synagóga art centres where I work. When it is free, travelers and tourists are welcome. We are in the town centre, in great neighborhood called Mala Praha (Little Prague), close to everything and quiet in the same time. I really like hosting guests.

From here you can find trails to the Richer Hall, Muńcul, Bendoshka and other mountains around the area, as well as bike paths.
