Barn 1902 @ Mikjāņu sēta

Mikjāņu Sēta is located on the shore of the Baltic Sea, within the territory of the Pāpe Nature Park and the historic Pāpe Ķoņu village. The barn was built in 1902 – a year still inscribed on one of its beams. In 2024, we completely dismantled it, brought it to our farm from the nearby village of Rucava, and restored it with respect for its history, using only natural materials and a thatched roof. Two-story building accommodates up to 6+1 guests. Suitable for spring, summer, and early fall.

Bungalow Provence for 5 persons small 20 m2 unique building, built in 1936. former bathhouse, currently adapted for relaxation, in a unique ancient sauna space. One room with three beds and a small kitchen, 2 mattresses in the attic. Near the house is full equipped kitchen with gas stove and oven, large refrigerator, teapot, dishes for 5 persons. Linen and towels included in the price. Separate toilet and shower with hot water. Drinking water from the well.

Nightingale

The Latvian farmhouse has been recently renovated and can accommodate 6 guests. Many things available in the house have been used again, but equipped with all modern conveniences. Quiet location with 5 ha. 100 m from the Pape Nature Park, where you can enjoy nature, listen to the birds singing and see the Pape lake. You can have a picnic in the old apple orchard or enjoy a drink on the terrace in front of the house. Rest from everyday life is guaranteed!

Green - Camp house @ Mikjanu estate

Our unique camping house is an example of how to create a cozy resting place using new and reused material. It is made of natural offerings – wood (new, used, found on the seashore), reed and clay partitions, as well as a reed roof. Available in the house: - 2 rooms: one with a double bed, the other with two single beds; - Kitchenette: electric kettle, fridge, gas stove, dishes. - Toilets/summer showers: separately in the campsite area. - Free Wi-Fi.

Recreation and Camping Site MIKJANU SETA is nestled near the Baltic Sea shoreline, within the Pape Nature Park and the historic cultural monument, Papes Ķoņu ciems (a traditional fishermen's village). The family house is situated approximately 150 meters from the beach. This historical building, a former granary/barn dating back to 1913, features a charming thatched roof and is ideally suited for stays during late spring, summer, and early autumn."

We offer the opportunity to live in small camping houses for 4 people. The houses are comfortable and simple, but allow you to enjoy life by the sea. Electricity is available in the house. It has 2 bunk beds, a shelf and a clothes hanger. The shower, toilet and kitchen are located in other rooms that are shared by all campers. The kitchen has 2 electric stoves, 2 sinks and a fridge.
