Make memories for a lifetime in this unique and family-friendly space. There are countless opportunities here if you like to go for a walk in the woods or in the mountains. Many marked routes. If you like fishing, there is a fishing jetty and other suitable fishing spots. There is a lake and fishing waters within walking distance of Dukkestua. We have 3 great picnic areas in the village, with barbecue facilities for those who want to... We also have a 24-hour shop, about 1.5 km from Dukkestua. There is a walking and cycling path there. Some Saturdays we have a pub on the quay. It's very popular.

The cabin is of high standard, 4 bedrooms with a total of 7 beds. There is water, electricity, heat pump and wood stove. The kitchen is well-equipped. Bathroom with heated floor, shower, toilet, sink and washing machine. The cabin has its own Wi-Fi. TV can be connected to Apple TV or Comcast. Outside, under the stars, you can enjoy a Jacuzzi for 5 people. The water is cleaned by the owner. There are several terraces with outdoor furniture, barbecue hut, woodshed, pizza oven and gas grill. In summer it is possible to rent a small boat without an engine for 30 euros.

Bicycle path in the immediate vicinity where you can cycle to Storjord where Nordland National Park Center, Skogvoktergården, Junkeldalsura and Kjemågafossen are located. Here you can enjoy yourself with family and friends in peaceful surroundings. Perfect starting point for those who like the outdoors. Several of my long-distance guests have stayed here overnight on their journey to/from Lofoten. From here it takes 40 minutes to drive to Bodø, 40 minutes to Saltstraumen, 5 minutes to R80 and 20 minutes to Fauske/E6. Location: The house is located in Bringsli which is 8.3 km further into the valley from Straumsnes which is the center of Valnesfjord. There is, among other things, a grocery store and bistro.

Located close to the lake, with stunning views of the fjord, with midnight sun and northern lights, and a 5-minute walk to all the sights on site. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower, living room and kitchen. There is also a terrace with outdoor furniture and very good lake views. The host lives in the house next door. Historic Kjerringøy is only a 50-minute drive from Bodø. Welcome!

Welcome to our cozy mountain cabin, perfect for relaxing from everyday life. The cabin is idyllically located and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Here are 4 beds, complete with duvets, pillows and bed linen. The kitchenette has a gas stove and fridge and everything you need for cooking and serving. Wood-fired heating. Firewood is included. The cabin is equipped with electricity and wifi. Water is collected from the stream, in winter the host puts in cans with water. Outdoor toilet located nearby.

The holiday home Høgtun at Strøksnes

Enjoy the tranquility of beautiful surroundings at Strøksnes. Over 100 years old small house that is under renovation. Nice view, short distance to the river or the sea for swimming, football pitch, barbecue facilities, nice fishing opportunities, short distance to Bjørklund farm where they sell cinnamon buns, pick-your-own strawberries/raspberries. A small local shop about 3.5 km away, limited opening hours. Fine hiking areas. About 300 m to the ski slope. Driving distance to Hamarøy, Steigen and Rago National Park.

Steigen Lodge Sjøhytte Våg no. 1

We want everyone to experience nature as closely as possible. Therefore, we have built three small cabins/houses, with large glass surfaces everywhere, so that you can sit inside and enjoy the mountains, the horizon, the sea, the sunsets and the midnight sun. Now it's not always sunny on the island, so we have a nice sofa, which can be daybed too, for moments when you want to sit inside under the blanket, look at the rain and the wind, but still get a great experience of the changing nature.

Glamping Nordland - Dome - Arctic light

The Domes are placed above a garden where raspberries are grown. The Domes are in nature with a fantastic view of the mountains and the fjord. You can see the sky from your bed. During the winter you might even see stars, the moon – or the northern lights? Homemade breakfast with fresh bread and local products is served in a refurbished barn. The Domes are without electricity, but wood for heating is provided. WC, shower, electricity and WiFi are provided in the barn - 100 m walk.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. Annex(Cabin) located on Liland in Hamarøy municipality, Nordland is rented out. 25m2, a small porch, entrance with a small hallway, living room with beds and kitchenette. Bathroom with shower cabin, toilet and sink. Electricity, TV, wifi, bed linen and towels included. Activities Great hiking terrain and great fishing opportunities. Hamsunsenteret. Galleribygda Tranøy. Tranøy Lighthouse. Ridesenter nearby. Best suited for 1-2 people.

The barn in Midnattssolveien

This is a newly restored barn completed in the summer of 2023. We have taken care of as much as possible of the old, and combined it with the new. This makes the barn a completely unique place, with a soul. 1st floor consists of hallway, bathroom with toilet and shower, hobby room, two bedrooms. The 2nd floor consists of an open solution, where part is the "main hall" with a fireplace, a well equipped kitchen, and a cosy sofa section. All rooms are well equipped.

Studio apartment with privat entrance

We live on the countryside. Its 6 km to supermarket, bistro, train and bus. Its 45 min by car to Bodø city, and almost 20 min to Fauske city. If you like nature, we have a nice view, and a lot of places to enjoy! In the summer vi have daylight 24/7. In winter its darker, and if the weather is good, we have northern light. For almost 3 months we dont have sun. But we have snow - for playing and skiing.
