Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

We have 3 bedrooms and 2 suites, comfortable and well equipped, all with privileged views of the surrounding landscape.

Tapada da Raia

Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. The rustic-style house features the necessary amenities for an invigorating holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where even time seems to take longer to pass. Hope you like it!

Perched atop a towering cliff, the medieval village of Marvão offers visitors a breathtaking landscape. Entering the village through the Ródão Gates and looking to the right, the visitor comes across Casa da Silveirinha. Framed, on one side, by the cliffs that lead to the Castle and, on the other, by the immensity of the surrounding landscape, the House provides those who rest in it with the feeling of going back in time and becoming the guardian of the entrance to the village.

Casa da Picoteira is a beautifully refurbished countryside retreat in São Pedro do Esteval, Proença-a-Nova, ideal for guests seeking comfort, privacy and tranquillity. Enjoy a 900 m² private garden, saltwater pool, pet-friendly stay and EV charger. The property is entirely private, with a main house offering 3 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, living and dining areas, plus a separate house with ensuite bedroom and workspace. There is also a full bathroom by the pool.

Quinta das Sesmarias is located on the urban outskirts of Vila de Alcains, a 3.5-hectare property that maintains the rural characteristics of the early 20th century. The first construction dates back to 1928 and was recovered in 2002 in the form of a villa. Visitors' rest and well-being are ensured by a peaceful environment in contact with nature.
