Casa do Chiquinho is a quiet retreat in Crato, ideal for resting and exploring Alentejo. The cuisine is another strong point, you can taste typical Alentejo dishes in the restaurants of the village and nearby With Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and a good outdoor space, it's perfect for couples or families. Close to the Monastery of Flor da Rosa and surrounded by serene landscapes. We also offer a 4-wheel motorcycle ride as an optional extra. Peace, comfort and authenticity in the heart of Alentejo.

Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

We have 3 bedrooms and 2 suites, comfortable and well equipped, all with privileged views of the surrounding landscape.

Tapada da Raia

Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. The rustic-style house features the necessary amenities for an invigorating holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where even time seems to take longer to pass. Hope you like it!

Casa da Piedade is a cozy retreat in total harmony with nature, where comfort and tranquility are priorities. Located in Portagem, at the foot of the Marvão mountain range, it is a 3-minute walk from the local swimming pools and a 10-minute drive from the castle. Surrounded by typical restaurants and serene landscapes, it is the ideal starting point to explore the region, savor the local cuisine and rest in a calm and authentic environment.

Monte das Cascatas, natural surroundings

Cozy country house, set in a serene and natural Alentejo hill with about 4 hectares. In the heart of the Serra de S. Mamede Natural Park, it is surrounded by a wide variety of native flora, such as cork oaks, olive trees, oaks or fruit trees. Crossed by the Sever River and a stream that invites you to take refreshing baths through its numerous waterfalls. It also has two real natural pools, old reused irrigation tanks.

Stairway to the Castle

Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home. Being in the middle of the village, we easily meet the neighbors, hear birds or continue to climb to the Castle (since the house is on the way to the Castle).No access by car (parking 200 meters away)

Quinta das Sesmarias

Quinta das Sesmarias is located on the urban outskirts of Vila de Alcains, a 3.5-hectare property that maintains the rural characteristics of the early 20th century. The first construction dates back to 1928 and was recovered in 2002 in the form of a villa. Visitors' rest and well-being are ensured by a peaceful environment in contact with nature.

The Haystack

Panoramic View and Jacuzzi Palheiro is located in the village of Sobral Fernando and is a house dating back to 1936, all of which is built in schist stone. Recently restored, it offers a modern, welcoming environment while preserving the traces of times past. It has a Jacuzzi with water that can be heated on the panoramic balcony.

SUN SET HOUSE

Medieval house of Jewish origin (thought to have originated in Sephardic Jews who were expelled from Spain in 1492 by Catholic Kings), fully recovered while retaining all its originality. Only the inevitable modernity has been incorporated but never conflicting with its traditional architecture.
