Miller’s Rest is a self-contained one bedroom cottage with private parking and 2miles from Orton, 5 miles from Shap. The cottage is peaceful with plenty of space and all modern amenities. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped, living room has a log burner effect electric fire for those colder nights. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and large wardrobe. There is a small stream running alongside the garden lovely for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine, relaxing and watching the birds.

Recently refurbished first floor serviced apartment comprising of 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a double sofa bed. Full kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is accessed by a flight of stairs. A baby gate is provided which can be used to limit access to areas of the apartment, but guests with small children should consider this when booking. Situated on the coast to coast route, Shap has many amenities and is a fantastic base to explore the lakes.
