When I started playing golf at the age of 10, I soon began to dream of a life as a PGA professional, traveling the world and playing in major golf tournaments. I chased this dream for many years and had a successful run as an amateur golfer. At the young age of 18, I turned pro and began living the life and the dream as a professional golfer and traveling all over Scandinavia, Europe and to the US to play golf. It was a tough lifestyle, but those years also taught me a lot about life and about how things work in business. At that time I also began combining my golf career with winter jobs in the travel industry, and I would spend the cold winter months working for Danish travel agencies as their guide in Marrocco, Portugal, North Carolina and the Dominican Republic. These were the perfect occasions for me to work on my own golf game as well as share my knowledge and skills with other golfers looking to learn and improve their own game. When I first came to the Dominican Republic, I soon fell in love with the country, the weather, the atmosphere. I kept returning year after year until I finally decided to settle in Punta Cana together with my girlfriend (now wife). We were fortunate enough to arrive at just the right time – everything was booming in 2004/2005, and we received an incredible opportunity to buy an existing travel agency, which we took without much hesitation. Living and owning a business in the Dominican Republic has been quite an experience. I have been fortunate to meet and work with many people from all parts of the world, and I am happy to see that a lot of them keep coming back to us and keep contacting us for their travel needs. I look forward to hearing from you and to helping you plan your next wonderful vacation in the Dominican Republic.
