The space

The room is at the top of the house with a good view over Bath

The room is our daughters old bedroom (so her photos are still on the wall, and some of her clothes etc in the cupboard). There is though lots of space in the cupboards and drawers for guests' things

Guest access

You are welcome to share/use the garden and kitchen, these areas are though in use constantly by the family and may not be as tidy as the other guest areas

Interaction with guests

We are both local so happy to give advice on things to see and do in and around Bath

Occasionally we may not be around, (we work during the week so unless you are an early rise you may not see us !) so do say if there is anything you need to know and we can always leave/send you advice/information about your stay and about Bath

We will provide a light breakfast (with eggs if the chickens oblige!) but you may have to make it yourself as we leave for work early in the morning etc !!!

Other things to note

The house is on 4 floors with steps down to the property - so this may be a struggle for some.

The bathroom is on the 3rd floor and the Shower room is in the basement - you may like to bring slipper as there are old stone floors and stairs that are a bit cold

The house is old (1804 ish) and listed, it doesnot have double glazing so some may find it a bit drafty. It does have central heating but we tend to have to wear an extra layer in the Winter - In the summer it is wonderfully cool

We have been told that the while your room and bathrooms are clean tidy and freshly decorated, the rest of the house has a more lived in feel !!,

Our stay was perfect! The house is beautiful and we had great views of bath city from our roo. Window. The location was perfect as it was very central but still quiet and. Jessica and Paul were great hosts. Making us feel very welcome and the breakfast was tasty3 (Thanks so much again for the glutenfree bread!).

Great view from bedroom window. All of Bath laid out before you! Especially convenient if you arrive by bus from Bristol airport, just a 7-10 min walk up the hill. Lovely people to stay with.

The room had a great view of the city from its top floor window, and being able to easily walk in and out of the city center was great!
