Where you’ll be

Limerick, Ireland

The house is situated in the idilic golden vale at the foot of the Ballyhoura mountains, where our grass fed cows graze throughout the day, before their milk is turned into the world renowned Kerrygold butter. There are extensive walking tracks and biking tracks up in the mountains and hills. The lodge is located close to all local amenities where you can enjoy activities like golf, horse riding (lessons arranged), fishing and hill walking. The towns of Charleville and Killmallock are only 6 kilometres and the city of Limerick is 32 kilometres away, not too far away if you want to enjoy a day's shopping. Attractions for you to visit during you stay in Limerick include Lough Gur Visitor Centre and King Johns Castle and in Kilmallock visit the ruins of the old medieval town, which are still visible today. For travellers wishing to see more of the Munster regions, we are only 25 mins from beautiful Adare, 90 mins to Tralee, Co Kerry and 50 mins to Cork city.

My family and I love meeting new people. My husband and I have travelled a lot before we welcomed our four kids into the world! I worked in the hospitality industry for years, so I have a very high standard in my listing. I love creating. I love bringing people happiness when they come to stay with us. I do not intrude! Motto in life - we only live once, make it a memorable one.

During your stay

The house is right beside our house, not attached. We have a young family so we are home most of the time to help out with any questions, or to help you enjoy your trip. With extensive knowledge of the area and the mountains, we can help walkers/bikers with treks and walks. We can bring you out to the milking parlour to watch the creamiest of milk being extracted from the grass fed cows, before it is being shipped off to be made into butter and cheese.
