A cosy cabin perfect for relaxing getaways, the Yarra River is just a stroll outside the property. Onsite massage available.
Bikes provided; it's just short ride or walk into the township of Warburton.
Perfect for a little peace and quiet!

The space

Nestled in a quiet corner of the world, your personal cabin, which is quite small, is separate from the main house, the cabin is situated directly behind the main house with a shared court yard, it is our endeavour to provide privacy for a weekend away. A unique weatherboard home, this space is simply perfect for couples or a single wanting to enjoy a little time away in the beautiful setting of the Yarra Valley.

Essentials are all provided for your stay. Your bathroom is completely separate, with an array of pamper items available for your use. You may enjoy the television within the room, or perhaps you may like to sit out on the outdoor setting and read a book? Tea and coffee is provided, and freshly baked bread with condiments will be awaiting your arrival!

You are most welcome to enjoy the beautiful gardens within the property. Down in the shed, a pool table and table tennis table await you if you wish to engage in a little friendly competition!

The beautiful Yarra River is just outside of the property. Start your day with one of the various walks available, either around the river, up to the Millgrove lookout, or along the famous Warburton trail. If the weather is warm, enjoy use of the river-play equipment down at the local waterhole, and cool off in the refreshing waters of the Yarra.

The township of Warburton is just a couple of kilometres away. With push-bikes available for your use, you can easily ride into town to visit the various cafes and restaurants in the main street. Warburton has it's own historic cinema, which you may want to visit during your stay.

The Yarra Valley is internationally renowned for it's world-class wine. If you're driving, you can easily fill your day tasting the wonderful produce of the land, whether it be wine, cheese or chocolate! Collect some goodies during the day and enjoy a feast down by the river or on the outdoor patio.

If you are looking for massage treatment, your host Jan is a qualified remedial and relaxation massage therapist. If you are interested in this service, enquire when booking your stay.

Interaction with guests

Other things to note

The cabin overlooks a shared courtyard area, we look to provide privacy by closing the main residence's blinds, although we are happy to chat and assist you with any questions you may have.

Jan was a perfect host from beginning to end. Our cosy cabin was toasty and warm with tea and coffee available in our room, which was great. She even made us fresh bread on both days - amazing! We stayed for 2 nights and managed to (tightly) squeeze in a travel cot for our 2 year old, Jan thoughtfully lent us tonnes of toys and books which came in very handily to say the least. Would love to come back!

Accurately described: small but perfectly formed! Loved the lighting and clever use of space. Bed pretty good, showers excellent. Bit squishy to sit on the toilet but a cosy cabin is a cosy cabin! The breakfast bread with jam and butter was a perfect start to the day. Jan was super-easy to deal with and very responsive. We’d stay again.

The cabin was small but cozy. It had everything we needed for our stay. Jan and her two sons were perfect hosts. Jan obviously enjoys her stunning garden and we were there at a perfect time to see everything flowering. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Cozy Cabin.

Jan's cabin is sweet, relaxed and certainly cosy, and was the perfect place to stay for a quick getaway while we explored the local area. Super close to lots of wonderful walks and forests, and quite literally a stone's throw from the Yarra river. We really appreciated the fresh bread and accoutrements provided for breakfast, as well as the flexible check-in/check-out.
