Stylish apartment in a beautiful historic building, situated on the iconic Birchcliffe hillside. Large open plan living/dining/kitchen with stunning far reaching views over Hebden Bridge. A stones throw from the town centre, full of independent shops and thriving bars and restaurants.

The space

The imposing Zion Baptist Chapel was built in 1881 and holds a prominent position looking over the mill town of Hebden Bridge and the hills beyond. This historic building now houses our spacious modern apartment. The open plan living/dining area has French windows and a juliette balcony making the most of the stunning views over Hebden Bridge.

Sleeping 4, with two bright and airy bedrooms. One double bedroom having an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds. There is also a large family bathroom with bath and shower over.

Fully equipped modern kitchen leading into the open plan dining area.

To make your stay as relaxed as possible you will find tea and coffee, and fresh milk in the fridge.

Flat screen TV, WIFI and Bluetooth speaker. As well as lots of books and board games if you fancy a lazy afternoon.

There is permit free on street parking on the street outside the chapel.

Superb , cosy, warm and very clean flat with everything needed. Charlotte provided lots of bits and pieces such as a lovely brioche loaf and some chocolate chip flapjack which just added to the general aura of a very well-looked after flat. It was in a quiet residential area and was warm and very easy to live in. The views of Hebden Bridge from the lounge window are breath-taking. Hebden Bridge is full of steep streets and the flat is up one of these streets but it gives you a bit of exercise walking up and down to the town, however it's only a couple of minutes down and about five minutes back. All-in-all one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in.

We stayed in Charlotte's beautiful apartment/Chapel for 4 nights - everything was perfect! A quiet neighbourhood, views, clean and contemporary interior/ decor. When we arrived there was a selection of local produce and homemade jam which was delicious. The kitchen was very well equipped, clean and easy to use. Beds were really comfortable- best nights sleep for ages! There is so much to do in Hebden Bridge and all within walking distance from the Chapel - we didn't need to use the car during our stay, just walked from the door! Would definitely stay again if visiting this area.

Charlotte is the perfect host - communication was clear and friendly, and we appreciated the welcoming note with fresh flowers and some things left for us in the kitchen. The flat is a lovely place to stay - light, spacious, comfortable and beautifully kept. Wonderful view of Hebden Bridge from the living room. Quiet yet very conveniently situated. We would love to return, and wholeheartedly recommend.

As a consequence of staying at the Zion Chapel, a converted Methodist Church overlooking Hebden Bridge, it's almost impossible to consider returning to the Calder Valley and not staying there, such was it's significant contribution to the pleasantness of the trip. We always look to stay in an apartment, as opposed to say a Hotel, or B&B, as it gives us options. Hebden Bridge has a lot to offer in a relatively small area and as much as you're spoilt for choice for places to eat, for instance, it's also a pleasure to pick up a Mytholmroyd Sourdough and some Yorkshire Blue Cheese at the Thursday fresh produce market or pick up some Belly Pork from Woodhead's on St George's Square and some organic veg at the Valley Organics Workers Co-op on Market Street and enjoy dinner in the comfort of your own modern and stylish apartment, whilst you watch the sun go down over Calderdale.

Hello from 'Trouser Town'! In it's heyday Hebden Bridge was producing 20,000 pairs every week! The factories are now gone but Hebden Bridge remains a buzzing, lively market town. Packed with independent shops, bars and restaurants.

I live here with my family and we love it! we also love to travel both in the UK and abroad and we are experienced house exchangers.
I also love to run, especially on our beautiful (sometimes bleak!) moors. Food and cooking play a big part in my life and I am a big sewer when I get the chance.
