This was the villa of my dreams. I was already very excited after reading the reviews and listing on AirBnB and it stood true to everything. Loved the place and the weekend we spent there. Someone already mentioned but reiterating it - point your GPS to Mango Farm and this will get to you within 200-300 m of the Villa. Else its easy to get lost. Once you arrive, prepare to be wowed. Every nook and corner of this beautiful villa is curated and an experience. Its tastefully done and comfortably appointed for a stay. We were a group of 6 people (3 couples) and we thoroughly enjoyed the time here. Make sure you take the suggestion of ordering lunch with plenty of time in hand. We ordered from the local (Vaibhav) lunch home closeby and while they did not have anyone to deliver, we wuickly went and picked it up ourselves as we had a car. The food was so good, authentic local food and so modestly priced. For dinner, we ordered from two of the restaurants listed and the food was again pretty good. The next day breakfast was served in the villa, delicious breakfast lovingly served by the caretakers Sunita and Pramod and I could have been eating this at my home - it was such a warming experience. After several cups of tea and a morning playing board games, we headed out for lunch at a close-by trending restaurant before driving out to Mumbai. I think the pool is lovely and you can just lounge there. The deck under the starlit night sky was where we spend the evening enjoying a lovely breeze, even though its pretty warm in the day. Like I said the villa is beautifully done, and maintained and seeks to provide each and every thing of comfort you can hope for. I would highly recommend this place and definitely visit again if I have the chance. Thanks to Nandini for having us.

I was a little circumspect about trudging down to Alibag for the hot hot summer weekend, but I am glad we ended up staying in Nandini's place - Banyan Grove. Nandini was super prompt with responses to questions about the place, amenities etc. and that helped firm up our plans to visit. We did travel by road from Mumbai and had no problems in locating the place (Use 'Mango Farm House Awas on your maps application as the destination location and you need to travel 100-200 meters past that) . We were slated to reach late in the afternoon and so we pre-ordered our lunch from a restaurant (which was listed in the welcome mail shared by Nandini) and timed it right so that our famished lot could dig into some great seafood as soon as we reached. We were welcomed by the caretakers Pramod & Sunita who helped us around the place and promptly set up the dining table for us. All the 3 bedrooms had the required amenities like towels, toiletries etc. and were comfortably air conditioned. We spent most of our day in the spacious living room area and the balconies which had a cool sea breeze blowing through most of the day. The wind chimes will try and tell you for most of the day why it doesn’t feel like summer. The swimming pool was well maintained and we did clock a few hours in the pool over the weekend. The mornings and evenings are a great time to do some bird watching from the balconies. We did manage to sneak in a couple of games of table tennis too. Sunanda cooked some lovely breakfast for us on both the days comprising of omelettes, sabudana (sago) khichdi, toast. For our lunches & dinners, we ordered from the local restaurants but do note that you need to place your orders well in advance and for Sunday dinners as early as 5.30-6.30 PM. There is a grocery store within 5 minutes driving distance that can help you stock up the refrigerators. We were travelling with a little baby and Sunanda set up a crib which helped the baby in catching up on some nap time. Overall, the Banyan Grove is a great place to spend some time with your family and we loved it so much we wound up our trip to Alibag without a trip to the beach.

Was an amazing experience to stay at The Banyan Grove! It's a beautiful house and the help are very understanding and kind and took very good care of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would strongly recommend it to everyone! It's a beautifully designed house surrounded by nature making it a perfect getaway, even just for a day. A special thanks to the owner Nandini who was also very helpful and sweet throughout the process of booking the villa and staying there.

Our weekend at this property was in the middle of the monsoon - during this time we found that there were almost no restaurants open, and of course access to Alibag via the ferry from Mumbai was not operational. That said the property is beautiful, the caretakers were welcoming, and the owner was in constant touch with us and others during our stay to help us with logistics such as finding places to eat. The property is in a very remote and peaceful place in the countryside with a beautiful setting. If your intention is to get away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai this is a haven.

After a topsy turvy ride thanks to the roads between bombay and alibaug we reached a beautiful house very well designed. The house was very well maintained and we were taken care of warmly by pramod and his wife. We had a 1.5 year old baby and tai was very helpful to ensure the baby got what was needed. Would have been great if there was a cook at the house but a variety of resteraunts around the area for delivery helped in keeping the hunger pangs away. Will definitely recommend this place and if you want a quick break away from the city, this place is ideal. Very close to mandwa jetty as well.

We have been planning to visit the place since long and have finally managed to on 30th July. Host Nandini is a gem of a person. She helped and guided us to reach the place. Banyan Grove is a must stay destination if you want a modern farm house experience. It has been designed beautifully, perfect example for a luxurious home. We had a great time with friends and family. Care takers are very friendly and always available to guide you if you need anything. Pool area is amazing and very well maintained. Entire place is neat and clean with all the necessary amenities required. Thank you Nandini, for hosting us and giving us this unforgettable and luxurious experience. We highly recommend this place.
