Guesthouse Kibara is located on an estate located within the village of Kibara. The residents are farmers and artisans whose descendants settled the area many centuries ago. The villagers are 4-generation families who are quiet, peace loving and very close-to-nature. The natural environment including air and water is pristine.

We are retired and live on a country estate less than an hour from central Tokyo. We love art, gardening, walking, fine wine and cooking Japanese cuisine. Stay with us in a beautiful, newly renovated Japanese guesthouse adjacent to our home. It's available all year for overnight stays or longer-stay rentals.
