Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
This recently updated adventurer's paradise sits on 5 acres along the bank of the Blackfoot River. It's perfect for a family or group of friends looking to explore Montana's great outdoors but stay within 10 minutes of downtown Missoula. It’s also the closest riverside rental to the incredible Kettlehouse Amphitheater.

The space
This unique and cozy home is just steps from the Blackfoot River and some of the best trout fishing in America. In addition to its incomparable location it has a phenomenal kitchen and living space as well as a hot tub, spacious back deck and a propane bbq. The house sits on 5 acres that border the river and Montana Hwy 200. A short trail (approximately 100 yds) leads from the house down to the river bank where you'll find a hammock, fire pit, horseshoe pits and easy access to good wade fishing.
There is one large master bedroom with a king bed, a loft with a queen bed, an outdoor Murphy bed, a foldout sofa and a large couch.
During winter months and if weather is inclement, eliminating the outdoor bed as a sleeping option, there is room for six folks to sleep in beds indoors.

Where you’ll be

Missoula County, Montana, United States

The Blackfoot River is renowned for its recreational opportunities, most notably fly fishing, but also rafting, canoeing, and inner-tubing. The Blackfoot is a fast, cold river in the spring with many deep spots, making it prime habitat for several varieties of trout. By mid-summer it is warm enough for a refreshing swim.

The river is featured in the 1976 novella A River Runs Through It by Norman Maclean, as well as the 1992 film adaptation starring Brad Pitt, directed by Robert Redford.
