Other things to note

The home is near the Pinnacles National Park but very remote from other services, which is part of what makes the area so special. It's so close to the bay area and yet feels worlds apart. Pinnacles Ranch is a place to unplug and explore the wilderness of the national park or the rural lifestyle of surrounding ranches.

The nearest store, restaurant or gas station is about 30 miles away so guests should plan ahead and bring the things they will need during their stay (e.g., food, cooking supplies, toiletries, etc.). NOTE: Hollister to the north and King City to the south provide the nearest services. Be sure to stock up before your arrival.

Also, please note that there is no cell phone access in the area. However, the ranch house has a landline phone and a wi-fi network that guests can use. There is also no TV or cable TV, but the house has a TV monitor and DVD player that can be used for movies if guests want to bring their own DVDs.

Loved the privacy and remote location. So peaceful. Home was extremely well stocked. Firepit was a huge plus. Bummer only two bedrooms and the long drive to get to civilization (but that actually wasn't that bad). Would definitley recommend to friends and family. Host was really helpful and prompt with communications.

This house is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The living area/kitchen is all open and great for hanging out and enjoying time together. We felt very relaxed in this home, and it was a great location to stay close to the Bar SZ ranch, where we attended a wedding. David was a great communicator, and set up the check in process for us when we had questions. He was flexible in helping my friend check in, as she was getting there first. If I make another trip out to the Pinnacles, I would definitely stay here again!

Very remote and quiet place. It was amazing to watch stars at night and listen to silence. Beds were super comfy and everything we needed was right in the house.

I got married at Bar SZ Ranch, just down the road from David's house. I rented David's house as extra housing for the wedding. My mother in law stayed there and absolutely loved it. She said it was extremely comfortable and clean. The view of the surrounding area is also amazing. When we visited the house, it was even nicer than expected. David was very easy to communicate with and helped us add a day to our trip on very short notice. I highly recommend this place!
