Chatley Studio has won an award for its unique architecture. It has great views and is perfect for art and culture. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers. It is close to Bath and much more.

The space

Fantastic views of the Westbury White Horse and surrounding countryside. Peaceful and idyllic.

Guest access

You can use the space directly around the studio. There is a table and chairs where you can sit and admire the countryside while you have your breakfast or a glass of wine etc.

Interaction with guests

If you have any questions, I am happy to help.

Other things to note

The 17th century village pub is a must. There are two wonderful farm shops. In summer there is a lavender farm. Of course Bath plenty to explore.

I was lucky lucky lucky to be able to book with Audrey. I had an absolutely marvelous stay at her remarkable studio. The views are stunning, and can't be summed up in any photo. Even taking a shower was a wonderful experience. Even though you're inside, it feels like you're showering al fresco with views of grazing sheep and the Westbury White Horse. How often do you get something so amazing with an airbnb stay? The space is everything it was advertised as being, and perhaps more in terms of the lovely feeling and ambience it has. I could have stayed a month and would have been perfectly content. A well stocked coffee and tea area, fridge, microwave, toaster, torch, record player. I could go on and on! Audrey is a super host for a reason, and really knows how to anticipate her guests' every need. The studio is really clean and incredibly well-organized. I love the care she's taken with the entire property, including the fairy lights and other lovely touches. Btw . . .make sure you have a meal at The George and also at the Farleigh Farm Shop Cafe. Really good. Thanks, Audrey. I really enjoyed it.

Beautiful studio with a stunning view. Well appointed and very comfortable. Close to Bath but out of the bustle. Lovely host who couldn’t have done more to look after us. Perfect place for a restful weekend.

The house had a very cool vibe to it and was well equipped (fridge, microwave etc). The record player was a nice touch as well! The location was remote but if looking for a peaceful get away it's great. It also had wonderful views and nice places to walk! Thank you Audrey

Great accommodation. Very relaxing surroundings. Was in the area for a wedding and Audrey kindly gave me a lift to the venue. Would have loved to stay for longer.

Enjoyed our stay at the studio, it was comfortable & clean, there's a handy small coop in the village & The George inn has great food and a lot of history, but do book if you can it's very popular. Audrey leaves a nice selection of tea & coffee & and some snacks for the guests which is a nice touch, all in all can recommend it here. oh yes one more thing, the breakfast at the farm shop other side of the village near A36 must be tried if your peckish, you wont be when you leave trust me.

I have recently retired and am enjoying life in the countryside near Bath when I'm not travelling to new cities and countries! Always plenty more to see!
I hope to provide you with a very peaceful setting and well located base from which to discover the region.
