Stockwell is centred within the triangle of Brixton (o2 Brixton Academy), Oval (Kia Cricket Ground) and Vauxhall. It's also a stones throw away from the thriving Clapham Scene. The station is the only one within the underground system in that area that has two interchangeable lines- Victoria and Northern Line. James Bond fact: Roger Moore was born in Stockwell.Stockwell has several Santander Cycle scheme docking station that gives you easy access into London.

Larkhall Park is a 5 min walk away which has a big field to play football, outdoor free gym equipment, 5 aside football, children's playing area and 2 floodlit tennis courts with a smooth playing court.

Vauxhall Park has some nice cafes, and two tennis courts

Clapham Park is ten mins walk away and surrounds clapham with its huge size and lido

Brockwell Park is 15 min away which also has a lido.

The apartment is well served by local amenities. A local sainsburys is just a min walk away as is Costa Coffee for fresh Coffee and pastries
Two Tesco metro shops 5 mins walk away in opposite directions. ANOTHER Sainsburys, Lidl and Iceland are all 5 mins walk away.

Getting around

We are a 1 minute walk from the Underground Station NORTHERN and VICTORIA lines; 10 mins from Central London.3 stops to Victoria, 3 Stops to Waterloo, 5 stops to Oxford Circus and 5 stops to Charing Cross/ Embankment.

24hr Underground Train Service Friday and Saturday Night Both Victoria and Northern Lines are served.

The 196 and P5 bus stops right outside the property.

Number 88 Starts in Camden and ends in Clapham Common. Passes through Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and Westminster.

Number 2 starts in Marylebone Station and ends in West Norwood Station. Passes through Marble Arch, Hyde Park Corner and Vauxhall

Number 155 starts in Elephant and Castle and ends in St Georges Hospital (Tooting) Passes through Oval, Clapham South and Tooting Bec Station

Number 196 starts in Elephant and Castle and ends in Norwood Junction. Passes through Vauxhall, Brixton and Herne Hill.

Bus P5 starts in Elephant and Castle and ends in Patmore Estate (Battersea)

The night buses and 24 hour buses are routes Number 88, Number 345, N2 and N155

National Rail nearest station is Vauxhall which is 10 mins away which is served by SW Trains into London Waterloo, Clapham Junction and SW of England

Nearest Overground Station is Wandsworth Road or Clapham High Street (both 10 mins in walk in opposite directions) which takes you to Highbury and Islington, Shoreditch and Clapham Junction

1 min walk to Santander bicycle hire scheme. With a credit card its costs 2 pounds to hire a bike. Make sure your journey is under 30 mins then dock the bike back. Every journey after is free provided its UNDER 30 mins.

For public transport to make the cost cheaper you need to buy an Oyster Card. This cost 5 pounds and you can reclaim the money back when you leave. Its just a deposit . Then you put money on the card to travel around London. Without this oyster card to can buy a paper ticket but it costs alot more to travel .

You cannot travel on a bus WITHOUT an oyster card.

So there you have it we are well connected with Underground, buses, Rail, Overground and bikes!!! (and walking if you want to explore by foot)
