Casa do Lêntéjo is located in the village of São Pedro do Corval, nine kilometers from the medieval village of Monsaraz. It´s a typical Alentejo house. Here reigns the calm, the peace and friendliness of the inhabitants.

The space
São Pedro do Corval is 30 minutes from Évora.

The house is situated in the center of Corval village. There is a grocery store nearby and also an excellent restaurant. The “Casa do Lêntéjo” have very thick walls (so it is naturally cool in summer and hot in winter).

At 12 km you can visit Monsaraz. Perched on a hill with breathtaking views of the lake Alqueva - a huge expanse of water - the medieval village of Monsaraz, managed to maintain its characteristics over the centuries.
A walk to Monsaraz is also a travel in time since this is a unique spot where you can still find the peace and serenity forgotten by the modern times.

Amongst the heritage of Monsaraz are the Castle and its Medieval Tower, the old building of Antigos Paços da Audiência (XIV/XVI Century) and the Church of Our Lady of the Lake (XVI/XVII Century).

Considered one of the oldest towns in Portugal, there are recorded evidence of settlements in Monsaraz since the pre-historic times, when it was originally a fortified fort. Since then, it was successively occupied until the period of creation of a national identity, when it was conquered back from the Moors in 1157.

You can also visit the wine cellars, and taste the delicious wines of this region. Buy local handicraft and enjoy many activities renting kayaks and canoes.

We will be very near by, available to assist you in what you need. If you want we can also make tours.
