We are located in the most typical sector of La Crucecita, Huatulco. The perfect place to get to know the local culture and traditions. 25 minutes from the Huatulco International Airport, 10 minutes from the nearest beaches and 5 minutes from the tourist area by public transport. I also offer adventure-tours at the best and lowest price in all of Huatulco. Providing a fully personalized service, my goal is to help you plan a special day full of activities during your stay.

SERVICE DESCRIPTION:

My service is a unique concept in Huatulco Bays: a mixture between a guest house with a tour operator. I can provide the equipment needed to carry out different adventure activities such as: biking, kayaking, snorkeling, row boating, camping, picnics on the beach, surfboarding, backpacking, bird watching and many more.

NIGHT ACTIVITIES:, night / full moon kayaking and snorkeling. Night / full moon biking and camping in specific beaches. We offer prices up to 40% less than the tour agencies in Huatulco. My tours and activities are, of course, optional, as many visitors only want to purchase accommodation. Whatever the case, I am always willing to provide you with all the information you need in order to improve your stay.

"CASABLANCA" has the best and lowest cost of accommodation, unlike the conventional Hotels in Huatulco. I provide similar services (wi-fi, cleaning, parking included and reception 24 hrs.), but with a completely personalized touch, in a familiar environment, hopefully making you feel just like home. THE ROOMS: The rooms are simple but comfortable, very clean, with a ceiling fan, mosquito nets on the windows, double beds, internet (wi-fi), a storage cabinet, coat rack and a large mirror. The cleaning of all the common areas of the house, as well as the rooms with the change of linen is done every 4 days and we'll also provide you with clean towels, shower gel and toilet paper. The house has two floors and on the ground floor there is the fitted kitchen, a dining room, a lounge-area with lounge chairs and a hammock. The house has 4 rooms on the top floor, 3 of which available for rent and one which I occupy. The bathroom is shared on the floor and cleaned daily. In low seasons there are only a few reservations so normally during a week I only have one occupied room and in high seasons everything is usually booked (my prices vary according to the months or seasons) HIGH SEASONS: (I). Easter: March-April / (II). Summer from 15th of July to 20th of August (III). December holidays, starting from the 20th of December until the 6th of January.

THE KITCHEN: all guests can make use of the kitchen, which has a 6-burner stove and oven, microwave, coffee maker, orange juicer machine, blender, refrigerator with lots of space to store your food and drinks. We also have a dining table for 8 people. The patio has a laundry area for drying clothes and a washing machine for after your activities on the beaches.

THE BEACHES OF HUATULCO: The Huatulco Bays are a relatively new touristic development. It consists of 9 beautiful bays and 36 beaches of white sand and turquoise blue waters. 60% of beaches are considered virgin and 80% of them have coral reefs. Each beach has a different coral reef area, ranging from 2 square meters up to 200 square meters and there are 13 different coral species with a great biodiversity of marine species. There are registered around 150 species of coral reef fish, 4 species of turtles, manta rays, dolphins and whales. These can be observed from November to February. The nine bays of Huatulco are: Conejos, Tangolunda, Chahue, Santa Cruz, Organ, Maguey, Cacaluta, Chachacual and San Agustín. Here you will find spectacular landscapes, suitable for extreme sports, ecotourism, adventure tourism, diving, mountaineering and bird-watching. We also have a natural protected area known as the Huatulco National Park which includes an ecological reserve both aquatic as well as terrestrial. In the low caducifolia forest I organize bike tours and walks for the observation of birds and mammals such as whitetail deer, anteaters, badgers, raccoons, peccary, etc.

WEATHER: The Huatulco Bay area has a privileged climate considered tropical sub-humid, offering sunny days almost all year long, only expecting 40 rainy days per year. The rainy season starts from the end of June and ends at the end of September. The temperature goes from 18°C / 64°F to 38°C / 100°F with an average of 28°C / 82°C .

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: being a beach destination, it is essential to carry: swimsuit, sunscreen, insect repellent, sandals, light clothing such as shorts, tank tops, sandals, cap/hat. During the winter season it is necessary to wear light sweaters.

WHAT TO DO AND VISIT: (1) snorkeling or diving (marine flora and fauna) in La Entrega beach. (2) mountain biking trails in the lower caducifolea forest, in the Huatulco National Park and through other routes. City tour, virgin beaches, Huatulco scenery, sunsets and full moon nights. (5) Walk through the village; visit the church, the Oaxacan food market and handicrafts, go for a mezcal tasting and food, check out traditional clothing and their manufacture, see all major shops in the area. You can also visit other destinations in close proximity to Huatulco: Pueblo Magico de Mazunte, Zipolite nudist beaches and Puerto Angel, which are just an hour away by public transport.

OTHER SERVICES IN “LA CRUCECITA”: Two markets with supplies and food typical for the region, handicrafts, beachwear, mezcal, coffee and many more. We also have 2 large supermarkets ( Chedraui and Soriana ).There are different specialty restaurants and economical local cafes with delicious homemade food. Restaurants on the beaches have higher prices.
