A small villa in the historic center of Torello, a quiet countryside village near Salerno in south of Italy. Strategically located to visit: Amalfi Coast, Naples, Pompei, Capri, Caserta Palace, Salerno, Paestum, Cilento, Palinuro, Irpinia. Many activities with us: Gardening, Horticulture, Hiking, Climbing, Typical Cookery, Leather Workshop.
The hairy friends are well accepted, the apartment is suitable for couples, lonely adventurers, families with children.

The space

A completely independent apartment, recently renovated, surrounded by nature and without architectural barriers. From the road, by walking the pedestrian or the carriage gate, you enter the patio, a large space to use as a terrace for lunch or dinner outdoors, sunbathing or as car parking for two cars.
A French window to enter in a space for the sitting room and the kitchen, with dining table, kitchenette, sofa bed and TV. From here there are two sliding doors: one will take you to the bedroom, bright and complete with everything else; another is the bathroom, comfortable and organized. The shower is a flagship, there is no shower box, this makes it wide and comfortable and above all easy to access.

Interaction with guests

You can subscribe to seasonal activities by reservation with additional cost:

• Leather Workshop
I love my work and I like to share it. Together we will focus on creating small or large leather and canvas accessories, with ease and safety.

• Horticulture and Gardening
Agriculture costs a lot of work, but the satisfaction is really high and tasty. You can do by the seasons:
- harvest and eat ripe fruits and vegetables;
- collaborate in pruning, sowing, plowing, harvesting and more
- set up and care a small vegetable garden
- set up and care a small garden

• Italian Food
If you want to try real Italian food, you have to taste what Italian moms cook. We propose a typical menu, you can order, one day before, what to eat quietly in your rooms or even with us.

• Moving and Exploring
We are very pleased to show the treasures of our land and we think it is an opportunity to exchange experiences with people. We can arrange visits to places and monuments, natural parks and more, or just take you to the station or supermarket.

Please, send me a message for more info.

Other things to note

The house adopts the "Slow Culture": it is a cultural revolution against the notion that faster is always better. The Slow philosophy is not about doing everything at a snail's pace. It's about seeking to do everything at the right speed. Savoring the hours and minutes rather than just counting them. Doing everything as well as possible, instead of as fast as possible. It’s about quality over quantity in everything from work to food to parenting.

Comfy apartment in a nice little Italian town. We could not have been made to feel more welcome, literally from the welcome sign on the front gate when we arrived to the moment we left. Dino and his family made this a truly living like the locals experience and there were so many value add moments, the highlight being spending some time with Dino in his leather workshop. This was a memorable experience and a highlight of our trip through Italy.

I can't say enough great things about our wonderful stay at Dino's place. It's the perfect central spot to visit Naples, Sorrento, Palermo, the Amalfi coast and points inland without being caught in the hustle and bustle. It's an insane value for the price. Dino was warm and welcoming. We got the best sleep of our entire trip on the bed and our favorite shower in the shower. Dino's workshop is a sight to behold - he's quite the craftsman. His wife and mother made us feel like family without being nosy or intrusive. There was a fresh bowl of fruit from the garden awaiting us when we arrived and a delicious jar of his mother 's homemade jam when we left. Each morning they made us espresso with lemon peel - the way his family likes it - and have been drinking it that way ever since. He even made us matching leather bracelets to remember our time there. And that memory will be of one of those wonderful experiences travelling is all about - feeling a connection across languages and cultures and traditions with a complete stranger that makes you feel like the world is a wonderful place.

This place was a dream! Beautiful village in the mountains. Clean fresh air, with incredible views. The apartment is better than described. It is so clean, and with a great layout. Good sized bed and bedroom, with awesome air conditioner. The kitchen is well appointed and a bowl of fresh fruit from the garden was waiting for us, which was a fabulous surprise. We were fortunate that our trip landed us here during the village food festival. We ate better while here than we have our whole trip in Italy. Dino and Grazia were gracious hosts, and invited us to sit with them at dinner. We had the best night of our trip. We came looking for a place to stay and we left rejuvenated and with great new friends. We are already looking forward to our next visit so we can stay here again. Don't pass the opportunity to stay here if you get the chance. You will love it!

Torneremo
