House located in the village of Nago-Torbole, in the center of Nago (2 km. From Torbole), close to the village square, where there are a small supermarket, a bank with ATM, a few bars and restaurants- pizzerias; the house is very close to the bicycle path that leads to Lake Garda.
The house, called Casa dei Foini, has been recently renovated with Florentine terracotta floors, and covers a total area of 180 square meters.
The house is on 3 floors.

The space

The house is on 3 floors. The 80 square meters attic on the third floor includes a large kitchen with living room and a room with a double bed and with a characteristic Tyrolean style oven called Stanza dei Girasoli. On the second floor there are two rooms with double bed and two bathrooms: the larger one with a relax bathtub, the other with a big shower. On the first floor there is a wide entrance hall where guests can leave bicycles, surfing and all sports equipment; the flat is protected by an armored door located on the main entrance to the house. The house is very safe, quiet and cheerful, with many windows and two large balconies from which you can admire the beautiful nineteenth century roofs of the village Nago.
The Casa dei Foini is in the town of Nago Torbole, in the historic center of Nago, and can be easily reached from the Brennero motorway, exit Rovereto Sud - Lago di Garda Nord, direction Riva del Garda. Going down towards Nago, a small medieval church rises up near a car park. At 100 meters from the car park, set in an ancient square in the arcades near Via dei Forni, is the Casa dei Foini, in Boemia and Moravia Street, number 22.
From the Casa dei Foini you can easily reach Lake Garda. Bikers ride down along the scenic route of old Nago and reach Torbole in 10 minutes. If you prefer to walk, at 100 mt from the Casa, depart all the streets and paths leading to the slopes of Monte Baldo, to the cliffs for climbing, or to the Marmitte dei Giganti where there are several climbing routes.

Guest access

The Casa dei Foini has its own independent access. In the house there are 3 double beds and therefore 6 beds; 2 separate bathrooms, one with shower and the other with relaxing bathtub. The house is on 3 levels. The attic is characterized by a large kitchen with adjoining living room and by the Camera dei Girasoli where you can enjoy a Tyrolean ceramic stove and a double bed. Each bedroom avails of a TV set. The Casa dei Foini was renovated in 2015. The whole house is really special: the Florentine terracotta floors and baths in Venetian plaster do create an unique atmosphere. Despite the roof on the third floor, the Casa was built with REI materials: there is no danger of gas leaks or other fumes as the whole kitchen is equipped with induction plates and therefore has no natural gas flames.

Interaction with guests

Andrea and Tanja will be at your disposal to suggest you how to take advantage of everything the house offers, but also to help you spending your holidays in a relaxing way and enjoying the most beautiful places and restaurants of Lake Garda.

Other things to note

The Casa does not avail of private parking, however, in the village of Nago there are small free public parkings, very safe, quiet and close to the house. In the Casa you can leave all the sports equipment; the building is protected by an armored door.

We just had a fantastic stay at Andrea's house in Nago. House: The house is well appointed and as advertised. We ate frequently at the house and it had all the dishes/silverware to comfortably eat with a family. The house is big with plenty of open space. We enjoyed sitting on the balconies and listening to the church bells. Both balconies have what I would describe as a "pocket view". Beautiful, enjoyable but not expansive (not a negative). The master bedroom (upstairs) doesn't have a door which wasn't an issue for us but could be depending on the composition of your group. The "bike room" just off the entrance was a nice touch to store all our gear. Location: Nago was great. It is a relatively quiet alternative to Torbole or Riva del Garda. It was easy to get to Torbole for activities/food but Nago provided a quiet place to sleep and relax. We mainly rode bikes from Nago to Torbole which includes about a 200m climb home-a good way to work off dinner. We were in the area to ride road bikes and found the riding better than expected and indeed world class. It was awesome! There is lots of mountain biking, windsurfing and kitesurfing as well as hiking and other mountain sports. The house is off a small street through Nago. Free parking was about 50m away and while that parking area is small we never had an issue finding a spot. Also a very short walk away are a couple of cafes, grocery store, market, park and restaurants. We traveled with a 2 year old and found lots of kid-friendly activities along the lakefront; parks, playgrounds, beaches, cafes, trampolines, bike trails. I would also recommend a trip up the funivia in Masceline. It is pricy and not something we would normally do but it was a good way to get in the mountains with a toddler and we found it was actually awesome. With good weather it was gorgeous and in the afternoon it wasn't too badly overrun with people. Host: Overall, great. After a last minute change Andrea met us outside the house at midnight to let us in. He had local knowledge to pass and advice on local restaurants. Additionally, he contacted us during our stay to check-in and provide info on a local market.

Andrea's House is comfortable and very well situated in Nago. You'll find easily parking place for your car and some restaurants and supermarket in neighborhood. House is well equipped and Andrea is a very good host. She described a lot of attraction for family. It was a very good time to visit the lake. We recommend this house for family.

Andrea and Tanja were great. We felt very welcome. They are great hosts and showed us their nice and spacy apartment. They also gave us tips of nice restaurants, where to buy the best wine and how to walk to the lake. The surrounding is beautiful and the house is in the middle of a small and quiet town, called Nago. Great area if you like cycling (we saw lots of bikers), surfing, sailing and/or swimming in the lake.

We travel a lot also with Airbnb chain and we had sometimes bad experience. This one was better then expected. Andrea and Tanja were very communicative, they have welcomed us on arrival. Their house is spacious and clean. We were 4 adults. there was enough space even if we were 6 including with bikes. Distance from Nago to Torbole is quite small and all you need is around (restaurants, small market, bank etc.) Last cute surprise was, that Tanja and Andrea offered us a home made Virgin olive oil. We can only recommend this accomodation to everybody (not only for bikers)., Peter

Andrea's place is amazing! The house is 3 stories, on the first floor is for storage (we put our bikes here), the second floor is one bedroom and two bathrooms, and the third floor is the master bed and kitchen. (There is no door to master bed, all open). The house if very clean! There were plenty of pillows/blankets/kitchen utensils in the house. Also, if you ever needed anything in addition, they are nearby and happy to accommodate. If you are there to mountain bike, many trails end at Nago and you can end at Andrea's place. There are some trails that end in Torbole though, so you may have to climb the hill to Nago to get home. Well worth it though because Nago is quiet and we preferred this atmosphere over the noisy/busy Torbole for a place to stay. Torbole is an easy 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike. Andrea gave great recommendations on where to eat, I would take those suggestions! This place is very large, very clean, and buetifully made. I highly reccomented!

Meet by Andrea and immediately invited for a drink with some of their friends at their house. Very hospitable couple with a great group of friends who welcomed us even though our Italian is very bad. The house is very spacious and on three levels. The first is just maybe for storage, the second, two big bedrooms and two bathrooms. Plenty of hot water. The top level is the living area and another double room. Two small decks to enjoy the fresh air. Comfortable beds. We all slept very well. There are restaurants and cafes within walking distance and a small fruit and vege shop about two minutes away which we only discovered on the last evening. Had a lovely meal at Ristorante Pizzeria La Villa. Friendly village. Very hospitable hosts, nothing was a problem.
