This cottage was extremely cosy - full of character and everything we wanted and more. We are a family of 5 including 3 children (9, 6 and newborn). There was plenty of room for us all - the beds were very comfortable. Lots of space for the cot. The fire was a delight! Yes the stairs would be a bit tricky for a toddler or anyone who struggles with stairs but not a problem for us. Lena came to meet us at the cottage, showed us around and provided lots of recommendations. Lena also left us milk, bread, butter, cake etc which was fantastic and very well received. Communication with Lena was easy and prompt. The local pub - The Crown was excellent. We found that this location was a great base for us to explore Norfolk. Thanks for everything.

Excellent location for day trips to pensthorpe, wells next to the see and many other attractions within 25mins drive. Well equipped kitchen with basic essentials and a lovely welcine basket on arrival. Great host who was on hand if needed. Clean and well presented cottage. As described the stairs are steep and not ideal for anyone with limited movement. We had a great stay.

This was a lovely cottage , well positioned for exploring North Norfolk. There were many amenities within a short drive or within walking distance - the local pub serves delicious meals! It was good to have a garden as we were lucky enough to have some warm weather.Lena was a good host and we enjoyed her welcome pack of food- especially the corn bread!

Lena is a kind and very welcoming host who gave us plenty of tips and went out of her way to make us feel wlcome. The cottage is charming and cosy and brilliant for getting to the coast or for trips in land. We went with a young child, under two, and were really happy.

Very Clean & comfortable cottage with a lovely small garden in an ideal location for exploring North Norfolk. Thanks Lena for the welcome pack of food. The eggs were great and we bought lots more to bring home with us.

Originally from NZ, I've spent my adult life living and working in London. Six years ago my family and I moved to north Norfolk. I love all the pleasures life brings, especially being with family and friends, enjoying food and drink, cooking and travelling.
