The space

A perfect place to spend a few days with friends or family in a natural setting. The natural spaces are the basis of the tourist attraction of Sober, starting with the canyons of the river Sil that can be admired both from the viewpoints and from the river itself. Surf your waters on a catamaran through its beautiful hillsides, contemplate its terraces where the vines are cultivated to the interior of the Sil canyon in an experience that you will not forget. In several places of these lands you can practice hunting and fishing. There are also many signposted routes that will help the visitor to discover many of the secrets that enclose these lands. If you prefer you can take the tourist train and travel through the vineyards, admiring the landscape, making stops in the area's wineries that offer visits to its facilities and tasting. The phenomenon of the pilgrimage to Santiago, caused the influx of people to Galicia, reaching a great transcendence in the twelfth century. The Churches of the area are a good example of Romanesque art. As for civil architecture, there are abundant examples of pazos. During the Low Middle Ages were founded several monasteries that contributed to denominate this zone of the banks of the Sil and of the Miño, like 'Ribeira Sacra'.
