You have private use of the downstairs apartment which includes two bedrooms with Queen beds all sheets and towels provided, beds are already made up. Harbour views from both bedrooms.
Private bathroom. (shower, toilet, hand basin, heated towel rail, wall heater & underfloor heating). Towels and essentials provided.
Private lounge with freeview TV, gas heater and breakfast facilities (fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave).
Private outdoor deck area, with Otago Peninsula and Dunedin city views.
Unlimited WiFi, password in the guest info book.
If only two guests are booking but you require both bedrooms there is a surcharge of $30 for use of the second bedroom.
Continental breakfast, cereal, toast & spreads, yoghurt, juice, tea, coffee and milk provided, this will be available in the downstairs apartment kitchenette. There is a small kitchenette in your apartment. (Kettle, Toaster, Fridge, Microwave and hot plates) Only really suitable for cooking breakfast. You don't need to wash dishes they are placed in white containers to be collected and replaced next day. For the comfort of the next guest and the owner, no cooking of odorous (smelly) foods please including garlic, onion, curry, shell fish etc, it goes through the whole house and takes days to clear.
The property is located 8 minutes drive from Dunedin City, and 10 minutes drive from Larnach Castle, we are on the Otago Peninsula on the way to Larnach Castle, the Albatross center and Penguins.
This is a truly New Zealand setting and I'm sure you will have a lovely stay.
A key will be provided on arrival using a lock box for easy access. You will have a lot of space and privacy and can come and go as you please.
Everything you need will be in the downstairs apartment.
Interaction with guests
I'll leave you to do your own thing, but I can help with info or travel plans. I live in the upstairs area. Your apartment is the entire downstairs floor.

Please remove your shoes - there is a shoe rack and coat rack just inside your private entry door.

I have just relocated from Auckland to Dunedin, I have two online businesses. The Coffee Machine Company Ltd, supplying Italian coffee machines and accessories also Get Fit NZ and Plus Six Four Ltd which supplies sports clothing.
I used to be a National Sales Representative for many years, I have covered all of NZ with my work, I know the roads in both the North and South Island well.
In the 90's I worked for Air NZ as International Air Crew so I love traveling and meeting people. Now I travel for holidays and can't wait to plan the next one. I did a tour of Europe in 2009 and I have been to see the Greek Islands in 2015 which was amazing. Just been to Germany and Prague for a Christmas tour December 2016
I love art and interior design.
In the past I have had permanent full time guests staying, I have joined Airbnb for a change and to meet lots of different people! :)

We highly recommend Scenic Ridge B&B. We stayed for 4 nights in the downstairs suite. We were really impressed with the spacious, clean and modern facilities. We particular enjoyed the relaxing setting with manicured gardens and spectacular sea views. The location is really convenient as most attractions seemed to be within 5 - 10 mins of each other. She is very friendly and accommodating nothing seemed too much trouble. Thanks for an enjoyable stay, can't wait to book in again!
