Are you looking for some peace and quiet? Sea views, the sound of water lapping on the shore, the smell of fresh salty air? This is the place for you!
Enjoy the spectacular sunsets and starry night skies, the wildflowers, early morning bird song, clean fresh air, and have the best night's sleep of your life!
You will have your own spacious tent complete with super-king size bed, plugs, and electric heater. Beside your tent you will also have a VW T3 campervan to enjoy the views from!
The space
Our 5m Bell Tents are located in a secluded wildflower garden just 2 mins from the Atlantic Ocean. They are extremely spacious consisting of a super-king size bed, reclaimed wood style furniture, and fairy lights. It is a peaceful and tranquil space - with only some cows and the waves in front of your tent for company! There are plugs in the tents so you can charge your phone but you only need that for taking photos!
2mins from your tent, along an ancient road to the sea you can take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean to revitalise yourself.
You can then enjoy the long sunsets over Killala Bay, Downpatrick Head and Pullaheeney Harbour from the comfort of your tent or from the beer garden. There is a charcoal BBQ with everything you need to cook up a tasty meal! If you're lucky you might see some dolphins in the bay and later you can be mesmerised by the clear starry night skies.
After your BBQ why not spend the evening in "The Mermaid's Bar" which is just behind the beer garden. Cozy up in a traditional Irish pub style space and share stories late into the night! (Bring your own beer!)
Along the shore there is a lot to explore. From the incredible examples of fossils that predate the dinosaurs by millions of years to "The Mermaid's Path" - the remnants of volcanic activity from the distant past.
After a long day surfing, fishing or lounging around you could also head down to Brown's (The Harbour Bar) for a pint of Guinness beside an open turf fire and have the craic with the locals. It's only 5 mins away!

FAQs:
1. Do you provide food? No, but we provide everything you need to cook your own food. We can also provide you with details of local restaurants, cafes, pubs and hotels that do dine-in or delivery.
2. Do you provide alcohol? No, but you are welcome to bring your own alcohol and consume on site.
3. Are pets welcome? Unfortunately no 😔 We tried many times but dog owners repeatedly allowed their dogs to chase the horses, destroy bed sheets, and scare the neighbour’s/other guest’s dog.
