I really enjoyed staying here. The house is amazing and Aoibheann went above and beyond to make me feel at home. I would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at this stylish and welcoming air bnb. Arrived by car and had no problem finding a car park on the street, if you want to park your car in the drive way make sure to communicate this to your host. J. Is super quick in responding to your questions and will help you with anything you need. The place is super spacious (two rooms), extremely clean, furnished with attention to detail and exceeded our expectations from the ad. You won't be able to cook, but tea, coffee and a fridge in the little kitchenette is provided. Breakfast at the amazing restaurant ard bia is included, which is a real treat. We also had dinner there and really enjoyed food, wine and ambience. Galway is a great place to go to cliffs of Moher or the Connemara National Park. Galway itself is a buzzing little town, full of bars and pubs and good food! Had a blast!

Aiobheann's home is lovely, quiet, beautifully appointed and dripping with so much style. The photos don't do this place justice. The location is smack in the middle of where you want to be, with great cafes, restaurants, coffee shops within walking distance, while being calm, serene, and absolutely quiet at night. Without a doubt, would recommend this place highly to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Galway. Thank you Aiobheann!

You know it's going to be an exceptional airbnb experience when the host's darling young son comes to your door with a whole bunch of adaptors gathered up in his shirt, politely asks if he can enter and helps find one that fits your laptop prongs. Aoibheann's home is design driven with a beautiful color scheme and interesting vignettes, photographs, art pieces and stacks of books to browse through. The rental is a spacious private suite in her home. In the kitchen you will find coffee and tea and, just maybe, some delicious treats. The shower is powerful and hot. A long table and benches make for a lovely dining or work space. The bed is cozy but you have to be comfortable with a firm mattress. I'm in love with the tweed fringed blanket on the bed, a product from A's own line, The Tweed Project. The window looks over her rooftop garden, and outdoor living area, where you can sit at a picnic table and soak up the sun, if you're lucky enough to be in Galway on a sunny day. The resident cat, Witchy, would love to snuggle with you if you're into that sort of thing. I am and we did. A's restaurant, Ard Bia at Nimmos, focuses on seasonality, quality ingredients, and layers of flavor. The food is excellent and the portions are hearty. The atmosphere is cozy, flickering with candles day and night. The staff is warm and attentive. Breakfast at the restaurant is included with a stay at the airbnb but I highly recommend also going for dinner. Make a reservation in advance. This was my absolute favorite airbnb experience so far. Since it happens to be in one of my favorite countries, I hope to revisit Ard Bia again and again.

No joke, this spot is awesome. The reviews are spot on and the house is out of this world. The room is private with everything you need including a great shower and lots of room. The Ard Bia restaurant is a real gem where you should make more than one visit. Everything was extremely close and you are far enough from the downtown area where it can be loud. Everyday we found a different route around the town and it was great. Locals are more than happy to share places to go. On the way out the care taker of the main house (joined but well separated) greeted me with a hand written list of spots to see in my next destination. This is truly an amazing spot you should not pass up if you are staying in Galway.

This accommodation is wonderfully curated,it is a feast for the senses.Everything, right down to the locally sourced coffee in the fridge(!) is of an incredibly high is right in the heart of Galway town and a must-stay for the curious! I will be back for sure and couldn't envision a trip to Galway without a stay here. We were warmly welcomed and instructed on local hotspots. I couldn't say enough about Aoibheann's beautiful abode & will be spreading the word to all who will listen!

Ard Bia is the place to stay in Galway! Aiobheann is such a lovely woman and made us feel like we were part of the family. Her home couldn't have a better location, and it's so beautifully decorated/designed, it's very aesthetically inspiring. The room is open and bright and has a small kitchen area. We got take out most nights but enjoyed tea and coffee in the mornings. The best thing about Ard Bia is that Aiobheann also owns a restaurant down on the water called Ard Bia. It was the BEST food we had our whole trip to Ireland and we ate there 3 times in two days. I loved all of our time in Galway, and much of that was due to staying in such a special and stylish place. I'd go back in a second.
