Our beautiful peaceful studio is set on Crookedwood Farm in the middle of the Boyne Valley. It is a converted haybarn (totally separate from our home & the entire space is yours & only yours for the duration of your stay) that was initially designed to provide a tranquil place for musicians, artists & writers to work from.
The studio comprises of a bright, a very spacious comfortable living room, that also has a large dining table. Off this room is a small kitchen, bathroom & 2 bedrooms, one bedroom can sleep 5 people, the other bedroom can sleep 4 people, so in total we can accommodate 9 guests.
The Studio also has its own private wood beside it with picnic benches and superb views across the Boyne Valley perfect to relax in on a long summers evening with a glass of wine after a day spent exploring the sites of the area.
We have shelves lined with books of every type & board games.
To keep you company on your stay are all our rescued animals, Arabella the Hen & her 6 sisters, who provide the delicious eggs for your breakfast, Jimbob the donkey, Banjo & Lucky the Shetland ponies, Wilbur & Mr Pickles the pot bellied pigs, Figs our collie dog & his new pal Mollie.
The Studio and our private wood.
Our animals are kept in the yard behind gates. Our guests can pet/feed them out the bedroom window, over the gates or through the fence but due to the unpredictable nature of animals our guests are not allowed in the animals yard.
