The space

Our beautiful peaceful studio is set on Crookedwood Farm in the middle of the Boyne Valley. It is a converted haybarn (totally separate from our home & the entire space is yours & only yours for the duration of your stay) that was initially designed to provide a tranquil place for musicians, artists & writers to work from.
The studio comprises of a bright, a very spacious comfortable living room, that also has a large dining table. Off this room is a small kitchen, bathroom & 2 bedrooms, one bedroom can sleep 5 people, the other bedroom can sleep 4 people, so in total we can accommodate 9 guests.

Wonderful family venue in a quiet country setting. Lots of board games, toys and books if you want to stay indoors and lots of sights nearby if you prefer being outdoors. Both Linda and Enda were very friendly and accommodating. The best part is how private and serene the area is and my five year old loved waking up to open the windows and greet the farm animals.

My wife and young daughter spent a long weekend at Linda and Enda's place in September. We had a lovely time. The house is fantastic. Enda met us on arrival and Linda met us later in the day to offer some ideas of places to visit and eat - we took her up on the places to eat and were very happy. The house is unique and a nice space for a break. Everything described accurately. Place spotless. Location great for visiting several places in Meath on day trips. The animals on the farm were a hit with our little daughter. All in all highly recommend the listing.

We really enjoyed the spacious main room, which is very comfortable and well decorated. The kids especially loved feeding the ponies and the donkey from the bedroom window! The location is very convenient to several towns for eating out, shopping, and tourist sights. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Couldn't have asked for a more wonderful way to spend our last evening in Ireland! Linda was such lovely and kind host. The studio itself was very large and cozy and we wished we could have stayed longer. The animals were so much fun to meet as well. Waking up and saying good morning to Jimbob the donkey was one of the highlights of our trip! We hope to stay with Linda and Enda when we return to Ireland!

Linda & Enda are kind, cheerful and helpful hosts. Their place is incredibly charming. It's lovely and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with breakfast and snack items including delicious fresh eggs from the farms very own hens and of course a basket of carrots to offer the donkey and ponies when the come pay you a visit via the bedroom window. There are really good places to eat in nearby Slane and a plethora of fascinating sites to tour in the area. I'll definitely be back for a longer stay next time.

Fantastic venue for our group to stay for a wedding set on a lovely farm. The facilities were great and Linda was very helpful before our trip in helping organise taxis. Really fast communication and great value!
