Guido's tower was the most surreal place we have ever stayed at. It's really hard to describe the beauty and secluded nature of this paradise in a few paragraphs. Location: The location is better than any setting or luxury resort you will come across. It's so pure, natural, and gorgeous that you feel as though you are looking at a wallpaper outside. Guido has 2 bicycles that we took for rides on the bike path adjacent to the house, and it's such a picturesque path all along. Accommodation: The accommodation is unlike anything else, a 15th century tower overlooking mountains and waterfalls, with all the modern comforts catered for. The water from the tap is straight from the spring, and there's not a bad view out of any window in this place, it's no wonder Guido is an architect! Finally, a word on Guido, he was a simply outstanding host. He picked us up from the train station on our arrival, and dropped us off at checkout, all complimentarily. In addition, he was there for any questions or to advice us on where to eat and what to do. He even gave us a complimentary bottle of his wonderful wine! He really went above and beyond his duties as a host and was one of the most interesting people we came across in our travels. 10/10 best stay ever. It's really the best and most relaxing way to spend time on a holiday. We can't wait to come again.

We had a great week in this lovely tower! The ambience and the surroundings are unique. The torre is perfect for two. We had our E-bikes with us to buy bread in the morning and to make excursions to Chiavenna and Soglio. Guido is a great host. He gave us very quick answers and good recommondations for trips and restaurants and told us about the history of the place.

This is truly a fairytale getaway. It is an escape into a simpler time. My friend and I visited in late September and the weather was beautiful, wine delicious, adventures numerous. We spent most of our time exploring the land and enjoying the tower. The pictures do not even give it justice. Guido is an outstanding host and makes your experience the definition of unforgettable.

This Airbnb is an absolute jewel ! Wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a family w/small children, but for four adults looking for old world charm, this place is heaven. It felt a bit like living in a vintage boat...kind of hard to describe. The bedrooms are stacked one over the other (cozy & charming) leading down via steep ladders to the tiny kitchen. The living room , with just barely room for four, has a magnificent view of a vineyard, mountains , waterfalls & the nearby village. If your looking for a spacious every-bedroom-with-its'-own-bathroom kind of place...forget this property. But...if you're looking for a getaway that you'll never likely forget, with hiking adventures (Soglio, Switzerland for example) and local wandering ( you'll love strolling through old Chiavenna) , this place is spectacular. Owner Guido is the nicest, kindest, most attentive Airbnb operator I have ever come across. His warmth & generous spirit will make you feel right at home . You will never want to leave.

The tower is a stunning rustic building built in the middle of a field, in a valley overlooking waterfalls on both sides. Conveniently located very close to Chiavenna, where there's plenty of shopping spots and supermarkets, the tower offers a lot of privacy and is the perfect place to disconnect from everyday chaos. Guido was a perfect host, greeted us with a bottle of his homemade wine, guided us through the things to do in the area and showed us the house. Not suitable for people that can't climb stairs - there are plenty-after all, it's a tower! Totally a place worth visiting!
