Interaction with guests
The Nemea region is probably the most ancient wine region in history. It existed already at 2000 B.C. Today it is the largest wine producing region of Greece. It would be a pity to come here and not visit the vineyards and wineries (more than 40 scattered around the village) and do some wine tasting on the spot combined with local culinary specialties. We provide organize guided wine tours and wine seminars. Just ask us for more information.
The area around Nemea is full of archaelogical sites. Driving only a few kilometers you can cover almost the whole of human history from the prehistoric times to the Mycenaean and the classical greek and roman era.
Visit and explore both the famous (Mycenae itself is about 20 minutes drive for example) and the not so famous -and often unguarded-archaelogical sites, turning archaeology into an adventure. Again you can do it on your own or in a guided tour.
Bicycle rides in the area. The scenary is truly magical. Dense vegetation, small rivers, vineyards, hills and small forests make you feel, that you visited not just one but many different places.
