House Rules

CABIN RULES:
1.We expect our guests to fully enjoy and embrace this unique Alaskan experience along with maintaining "Leave no Trace" when done :)
2.Please, no smoking, candle use, or pets, as we want to be sensitive to those with allergies.
3. As most of us Alaskans discard our shoes and boots at the door, caution must be applied on the smooth finish log stairs. (Kids may need assistance). Note that the partially open stairs and exterior (lower) deck can present a hazard to small children - parents are responsible for assisting little ones.
4.The fire pit must be used with extra caution during the summer. Have a bucket of water nearby.
5.Discharge of weapons or use of fireworks is prohibited.
6.The propane grill must be used only by adults and away from combustibles. Shut-off tank when finished.
7. Hot water must be used sparingly and showers (not available in freezing temps) must be short to avoid running out.

This cabin is gorgeous! It is quite close to the city but at the same time we almost felt like being alone in the woods. Trina and Charles - who by the way are great hosts, so friendly and polite - obviously put a lot of effort into the design and decoration of the cabin. We loved all the little details that made our stay special, like the looking glass by the panorama window (we could see two beautiful foxes playing by the pond, and lots of squirrels and birds), the books and dvds, the guest book and the perfectly equipped kitchen. We cannot recommend this cabin enough!

This cabin is the best! A little bit outside from the city center we can really appreciate a wonderful view with peace and calm atmosphere! The cabin is perfect! All details are fancy and follow a global style of Alaskan culture! We really enjoyed this place!!!
