The inside of the property was wonderful we found the beds scrumptiously soft, the loft bed was not suitable for a young child though. The kitchen was well stocked and we could cater for are self's with ease. The surrounding scenery and meadow was nice, the bar in the woodland had not had any attention in quite some time, there was still rubbish left behind by some of the previous occupants and some of the furniture was unusable. They have the right idea and I can see what they are trying to achieve but on the hole it felt like they were trying to do to much to quickly because of this the quality was being compromised and it left us feeling let down.

Dear Rebecca, After you left the studio you sent me a private message regarding your concerns about light bulbs and nails found in the gravel yard, as a gesture of goodwill I offered you a free weekend at the studio or two weekdays at the long barn. In your review you say and I am not sure what you mean 'on the whole we were doing things too quickly'- It has taken us 35 years to bring the place back to 'As nature intended'- the lakeside bar and furniture are very rustic- there is a round table and two oak chairs that are perfectly usable- plenty of beautiful old iron chairs that we cannot bear to throw away. but I do agree the place is not for everyones taste. I am sorry that we were away last weekend, but we were on hand to take calls or messages about any concerns you may have had.

Really lovely studio in beautiful surroundings. A bit of work going on around so we couldn't just let our dog roam completely freely but other than that it was clean, great value and the perfect place for exploring the south Cotswolds. We particularly enjoyed having some wine outside the studio at night with the little fire pit.

Great little barn conversion on the edge of the Cotswolds. Hosts were lovely at check in and provided us with extra cooking utensils and supplies to make a dinner when we arrived quite late. Just watch out for the two big dogs that do roam about the grounds / closer to the main house if you're not a fan of dogs. There was a lot of construction works going on around the studio, no noise from it though it wasnt as secluded as we thought from the images. The studio is right on the drive shared by two other barn conversions and the main house so there was as bit of activity in the morning when we departed. Would recommend for a no frills place to rest your head for a night or two!

Hi Sam just wondering if you are speaking about our studio- we only have 1 puppy! the studio flat does have its own gates and share a drive with our log cabin- the main house and long barn have totally separate entrances and drive way so I am not quite sure what you mean- we have 35 acres of beautiful wild flower meadows and woodland- very sorry you did not enjoy your stay

Lovely quiet area and a nice little studio apt. Sadly surrounding area was dirty and looked more like a building site. Wifi didn't work and sadly hosts were completely unavailable all weekend.

What a perfect base to explore the Cotswolds. A beautiful studio with everything you need and nothing you don't. I'll definitely be back!

Dear Judy- sorry the post code you had took you to an incorrect address- we are SN16 9PZ that takes you to where we are situated- I checked the code shown on Air B&B this is correct. Glad you noted the quaintness, we are very careful to make sure our guests do appreciate the quirkiness- it will not suit every one, but glad you appreciated the place.
