We booked the whole house for a long weekend for a family get together. This is a beautiful, interesting old house surrounded by lovely gardens and countryside. Chris and Claire are great hosts, full of chat, information on the house and what to do in the area. They were also great with the kids. We had a great weekend travelling around the area and relaxing in the house at night. Everything was very clean, in good condition and ran like clockwork.

We had a fantastic week in Claire’s B&B this August. The house and hosts were absolutely brilliant and helpful and made us feel very much at home. The place is very beautiful and tranquil, providing a perfect base from which to explore the Cork Harbour area e.g. Crosshaven, Beaches, Fords, Cobh and Spike Island and of course Cork City. Staying at Willowhill house will also let you meet the other visitors at breakfast and allows for delightful chats during the fabulous breakfast. I highly recommend a stay.

Claire and Chris are great hosts, they made me feel truly at home during my stay (so much so that I already booked another day!). The rooms are spotless, the farm is quiet and has a true country side feel to it but is only 20min to Kinsale, airport and my office in Cork. Very central location which I really appreciated. Claire kindly allowed me to use the kitchen which is beautiful and really nothing was a problem for her. I didn't get to try the breakfast yet but looking forward to that when I'm staying there next time (or the time after;). Highly recommended for business trip, leisure or whatever may bring you down to Cork next time

Claire was a fantastic host and was always willing to give us advice about where to eat and what to see. The accommodations were great for the price. She suggested we explore Roberts Cove and we were so happy we did because it was beautiful. The roads around her house are also quite lovely and a treat in themselves to drive around and explore. She provided us with a nice breakfast at 8am so we could get on the road early to get to Blarney Castle. We didnt have any trouble finding her house using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps. I highly suggest staying at Claire's house.
