Great check-in experience100% of recent guests gave this home’s check-in process a 5-star rating.

You will live in a quiet neighborhood in the small town of Sardinal, very close to several beaches. The house is modern in a classic colonial style, and very secure with fencing and gates; nevertheless you will be part of a real neighborhood. Secure Parking right next to the house.

Great location if you do not want to stay in a touristy beach location. This place is a great launchpad to explore many beaches and activities nearby. This is a great local neighborhood.

We stayed in this large and well equipped house in Sardinal for a couple of days including New Year’s Eve, and enjoyed the Tica-town and the help and good recommendations from James and his family. It was very lively in the small town during new-year with lots of loud fireworks, …

Thank you so much for staying in our house. I agree, much more pleasant than the beach towns, and yet so close to the beach and activities. I will get a better kitchen knife. Thank you

The house is clean and comfortable, the town is a real town (knowing some Spanish will really help), and it is within 15 minutes of beaches and the airport. The caretakers were great, had lots of advice, and also arranged a tour for us. Even their kids were really nice, chattin…

We are so pleased that you enjoyed our little house and our neighborhood and my niece and nephew and their family. I understand there was some confusion regarding cleaning, and for that I apologize. I think they were just embarrassed to clean when you were there.

We had a very late flight arriving in Liberia before starting our summer long Spanish immersion program in Playa Tamarindo the next day. And yes, it would have been very convenient to check in to the Hilton nearby and await our shuttle the next morning... But no matter where w…

We had a great time in this meticulously clean little house! It's in a classic Costa Rican neighborhood, within walking distance to a bar, a grocery, the park, and the pharmacy. It's about 15 mins to Playas del Coco and about 20 to Liberia airport. James has put love into the det…

Gosh, thank you. I can't tell you how much it means to my family that you enjoyed their little house and our neighborhood. We realize it is not for everyone, it is so much simpler to stay at a chain hotel, I means so much to us that you enjoyed a real neighborhood.
